Yeah, it was a beautiful ending, though I do feel bad that Shiki (Ziggy) missed the opportunity to have proper closure with his Rebecca (Chronophage). Not to mention the added tragedy of Ziggy being forced to kill their own son.

 

I do too, and totally agree with you on that Kago, it would be cool to see Ziggy get his sense of closure with the Chronophage! 

 

Just happy that Hiro is still showing other shounen mangaka how it's done!

Well, "Please Don't Bully Me, Miss Nagatoro!" has officially concluded and I'm happy with the ending. The bonus chapter that Nanashi drew for the last volume honestly wraps up the story far better than 154 did, and I look forward to the proposed one-shots of Hayase and Naoto featuring living together as a college couple.

From what I've seen, people absolutely love the extra chapter for the manga. There are those who still wish Nanashi had added the one-use only ticket as part of the finale(especially since he confirmed that he still remembers it), but that's probably something that'll be included in the one-shot. Or an officialized doujin to be on the safer side.

Before I get to a new couple I'm starting to like, let me tell you a bit of a story that involves this character being a guest star to a popular fighting game franchise that many people did NOT expect. And that franchise is: Tekken.

 

Beginning of the month was the Game Awards and Bandai Namco announced that they will be announcing the final DLC character of Season 1 on the Awards show instead of in the finals of Tekken World Tour and it would be a guest character (once more, as the prequel, Tekken 7 had not only the villain of SNK titles Fatal Fury/Garou Densetsu and King of Fighters, Geese Howard, not to mention Akuma from Street Fighter as part of the Tekken lore, but also Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, with many believed that he fit more in to Soul Calibur series and out of the blue choices: Negan from The Walking Dead). Many people were assuming that Tifa Lockhart will be the guest because of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is currently out and also her being a brawler-type work perfectly in Tekken gameplay. If not, a possible Virtua Fighter character or Yakuza/Like A Dragon character such as Kazuma Kiryu or Goro Majima could work since SEGA was coming back. But then came the announcement:

 

Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy XVI. Many people was either the following: Who? Or, not another FF character?! While some fans hyped, many saw it as a lackluster.

 

I was actually on both sides of the coin of the who and not another FF sword-based character. I also knew that Tifa wasn't coming, due to the following clues: 1) the character was associated with orange and 2) leakers saw that the DLC characters was associated with animals and Clive's codename was "Hamster" which many saw the connection with the children's series, Clive's Hamster. Later on, in a gregarious interview, the Tekken team revealed that they instantly want Clive in Tekken 8 the moment they saw the FFXVI announcement trailer. Mind you, that's a HUGE risk because despite the game is actually good and Clive is an interesting protagonist, what if FFXVI and even Clive's characterization didn't work well and click with audiences? Luckily it worked on their favor but that would've messed up chances if the game wasn't successful (and despite the praises, the game didn't sell well). After testing out Clive in 8, as OP he can get, I then decided to buy FFXVI for Christmas to see what's the plot about.

 

Well then, I can see why this game got praised and many people liken Clive, especially after the second time skip. And then, the love interest: Jill Warrick. So far, their relationship is very realistic and organic. Both are Dominants and childhood friends who had experienced A LOT of trauma when they reached adulthood, it was so compelling to learn about them. Plus, the fire and ice dynamic: Clive is the Dominant of Ifrit and Jill's Shiva, both summons that are very popular (one of the FF games had them as a couple that fall out, can't remembered which one). I'm currently want to see more of their relationship and their dynamic.

been a while since I posted here, Ha! I have a new couple that I want to happen so bad but nothing confirmed yet. For those that know, "The Legend of Heroes Trails through Daybreak" I am all for the MC Van and the heroine Agnes. I really enjoy all of the moments between the two of them so far. There are a couple of circumstances with the two of them that are giving me "NaruSaku vs. NaruHina PTSD". 1. Van has an ex-girlfriend/Childhood Friend Named Elaine and a vast majority of Fans in the west favor her way more and feel Van Should get back together with her. This triggers the whole "Sakura versus Hinata" debacle for me because it is so similar with Elaine still longing for Van but she is not his emotional anchor or keeps him grounded when he is vulnerable like Agnes does, and doesn't have prominence in the story and there is a secondary reason why they dismiss Agnes' Feelings for Van which is 2. There is an 8 year gap between Van and Agnes. Van is as of now 25 and Agnes just turned 17. Now I am not promoting the the whole *censoring word* with a minor or anything but I feel that the dynamic between them is very wholesome and more about true love than it is with Elaine. And it bothers me that they dismiss Agnes' relationship with Van because of the age gap. I just wanted to rant here a little bit XP But I honestly feel that their relationship is a good solid one that will last. Admittedly though that for all other games in this series except the earliest ones, The main love interest for the MC of each story arc or at least the one that is most hinted at isn't the most popular. But anyway, This is THE OTP for me at the time
