it seems that this delay is due to the new pokemon film's premiere... I guess that everyone in Japan are at the cinema now lol

Well it seems it won't come out for a little while so the only thing to do is wait. Either work, play or whatever else comes to mind to pass the time.

 

A little part of me was hoping in the beginning that it would be a repeat of 631 (that was a fun day). Although it would be even more amazing if an NS moment happened next chapter. Not only is it very close to Naruto's birthday it's also exactly 200 chapters after the hug Sakura gave Naruto at the end of the Pain arc.

 

You know despite the drama that came after the hug I think that moment really shows that Sakura is Naruto's true love interest.

@ Nefertieh:  I agree that unfortunately, that's what it looks like at this point.
 
I don't even mind about not having an NS moment - what irritates me is that Kishi is moving at an incredibly slow pace and is just giving us the same things we've already seen from him before in this arc.  We already got a huge battle with the 5 kages, and fights with them individually, and a bunch of inspirational speeches from everyone.  Frankly, I've have more than enough of my fill of the kages and could care less about them.  I don't want to see more of the 5 kages when we could be focusing on characters or plot points that haven't gotten as much attention in the war.  I wish that Kishimoto would actualy move his story along and get this fight over with instead of dragging it out further needlessly.
 
The spoiler at least looks like the first page, so hopefully the rest of the chapter will at least move the actual fight against Obito along.  I would like to see Naruto and Sasuke v. Obito making some actual definitive progress - they know his weakness, now its just a matter of injuring him - and a revisitation of Sakura and Shikamaru (though I'm starting to suspect Shikamaru will just be healed off panel).

Yeah, unfortunately Kishimoto is limited to his 17-or-so page limit each week, and we all know he was going to spend a good amount of time on the past Hokages (and especially Minato). I'm not sure why there is so much "filler" in the chapters, maybe the guy has writers block.

This is why I'm pretty sure this series still has a good two or even three years left in it.

Okay, the window for possible Sakura and Tsunade interaction may have opened with that translation. If the Kages are going to move around the battlefield and communicate with the soldiers in an effort to galvanise them then the Hokage will have to relay this information to the Rookies as well. Sakura happens to be among them.

Yeah, I know better than to expect Sakura to appear in every chapter, but I absolutely adore her character, always have, so I can't help being a little disappointed when she doesn't show up.
