#506700 Naruto 657

I wouldn't mind a power-up for Sakura, but it's not what she needs.

Sakura is relevant to everyone she saves, but not to the plot. As long as she gets to influence/dominate the plot again, I will be happy.

This is the right idea. Power-ups are pointless if there's no plot relevance for them. As she is now, Sakura shouldn't need another power-up if she's to be involved in the plot.

Varrick is single-handedly carrying this season so far. I hope they continue to handle him well.

#500946 How would Naruto responed to the hate Sakura gets?

The reaction would not be a subtle one.

#493885 There will never be another story/anime/manga like Naruto ever again!

I can somewhat agree that there won't ever be another series exactly like Naruto. The scale and world of it is huge. Quite a few of its characters are fantastic. No matter how sloppy it has gotten/will get from here, there are always going to be some golden moments in the past story.

he is still uncooperative (as shown when he was willing to let the Ten-tails burn down, even if it meant killing the other Juubi in the process).

You mean "bijuu" and not "Juubi", right?

Other than that: excellent post.

#480418 What happened to the site?

Posted by CloudMountainJuror on 09 July 2013 - 05:46 AM

You might also want to check if there are some check-marks in selections like "Just items the I follow", "Items that I participated in", and "Items I started". If you have no check-marks under any of these and you still haven't found anything new, then it means that you pretty much read everything in the forums as of the present date. I would be surprised, though, since I just pressed that and I have a good 3 pages of content that I haven't read yet.

Aha, there it is! For some reason, I had "Just items I follow" checked. I never paid attention to that "Other" area, so I didn't know anything there was amiss. I unchecked it, and now everything seems to be working like it should.

Thank you all for the help.

Oh yeah sure ? What is Itachi gonna do against a hord of Kage Bunshin ? What is Itachi gonna do against a bijudama in his face ? Do you remember everytime we saw Itachi fight after a few use of his MS he was already weakened and you're telling me he's gonna hold his ground against one of the most endurant if not the most endurant character in the narutoverse. As for Minato I see him being able to flee but I don't see how he can even harm Naruto, Minato has not shown any offensive Jutsu strong enough for that. Naruto has been fighting non stop during this war showing great strategy (third raikage) and incredible power (being able to defeat 5 bijuus at once) but Itachi is gonna beat him. Sure he may beat a clone or 2 but that's the only thing I will give him. Not buying any of that. You're way overrating Itachi and Minato, Naruto is far above them at this point, his benchmarks are Hashirama and Rikudou Sennin, Itachi and Minato are old story.

Susano'o, you may have heard of it.

If Naruto's close enough for a close-range Bijudama, he's already lost. Either that or, again, Susano'o.

Come on now, if you're assuming Naruto's in his prime for this, then it's only fair to assume Itachi's in his prime for this comparison also. It's only fair.

You have a point about Minato not showing a jutsu strong enough to plow through Naruto's physical power, but the FTG itself can keep himself evading for quite a while, not to mention get close enough for a lethal hit with enough time and speed to get away before a counterattack lands.

Naruto has the capability of being strategic, that's for certain, but not on the level of Itachi, whose entire life was a carefully self-manipulated lie, who calculated borderline everything.

You are severely underestimating how dangerous Itachi's genjutsu alone is. One wrong look for someone without Sharingan and it's over, that's game. All he needs is that one look. Now, weighing in Susano'o and everything else he has in his arsenal (including Izanagi, if he gets really desperate), he just needs to get Naruto one look and he's done. Naruto has to powerhouse him to death, needs a hit to land; Itachi just needs a look. And if Naruto reallly wants to be super careful about avoiding that, then he's going to have to fight extraordinarily well without looking at Itachi to stand even a remote chance.

Oh, I forgot to mention the Totsuka sword's ability to seal anyone it pierces. There's that, too.

But Naruto has complete info about Itachis abilities. He knows about Tsukiyomi, Amaterasu and Susanoo. He also has counters for all these moves. Genjutsu? Only Tsukiyomi could work, but Naruto knows that he cant look into Sharingan, and all other illusions would be useless against him. And Naruto doesnt even have to fight by himself. He can make a group of couple KCM / SM clones which would be more than enough to make Itachi use his kaleidoscope, and therefore, exhaust him.

Minato? Naruto will NEVER be as fast as him, unless he learns FTG. That technique is instant, no movement can be faster than that. But question is: for how long Minato can use that? We cant tell, but we do know that Naruto was able to use KCM for whole night and most of the following day.

When was it shown that Naruto had specific counters for all of Itachi's arsenal?

For my addressing of the Tsukiyomi topic, look above.

And Itachi has Susano'o, fire jutsu, etc. to stop said clones, and to utilize to the fullest extent to perfectly position himself to land a look on Naruto.

As for FTG, the only limits for it come down to chakra and kunai supply. For the kunai supply, since he summons himself right next to the kunai, he can easily pick it up, so there's one limit down. For chakra, he also has a Kyuubi cloak (somehow) plus his regular chakra storage, so for a long, long time.

#476902 Japan's Naruto Character Power Rank Main Thread

Honestly, when I compare Narutos and Itachis strenght I dont see a simple difference in strenght, but difference in levels. Its like... comparing Chuunin to Jounin. Itachi may be better in some aspects like Genjutsu or intelligence, but still Naruto is much more powerful.

Not only Naruto has BM, he can also make around 13 KCM clones, which are faster and more versatile than A. Basically, hes a one man army. Minato would be more tricky becuase of his elusiveness, but I still see Naruto as the stronger one.

Naruto has more physical power, but not more mental power. All of those clones won't do any good if Itachi can catch you slipping up even once, and we all know how Naruto has a habit for making mistakes in fights. Normally for him, small mistakes aren't enough to cause a loss, but against Itachi? Most definitely. Not to mention, I'm just covering the genjutsu aspect of Itachi right now without even weighing in everything else in his arsenal. Itachi is one of the most over-powered characters in the series, hands down.

As for Minato, Naruto can't top his speed just yet. He has the potential, as we've been shown, but not as of right now. And trying to catch that teleportation jutsu Minato has such a magnificent handle on? Sheer power won't do jack against that.

Again, not to mention the lack of experience Naruto has in comparison to both Minato and Itachi.
