Original 6 movies were trash and if you like them you are trash~
well i didn't say anyone was trash for liking something or not. the force awakens isn't trash. i think if you seriously have that opinion it just proves this movie retcons the others and fails as a good sequel but i think you must be trolling

so apparently disney has planned a whole new anthology series including a movie with a younger han solo who isn't played by harrison ford and some other spin off movies. sounds more and more like disney is just making these pointless movies to make more money

The second they bought LucasArts, they announced a new trilogy plus other spin-off movies.

The more battle scarred she gets the more beautiful she looks.
There's just something about a woman holding a blaster in a skintight white uniform with cuts all over her back that awakens the force in me. 
I'd take Padme over wonder girl any day of the week.

Kinda kills it for me really. It makes Star Wars feel like Marvel. I always appreciated how the movies we got were so few and far between. Hell, even after Star War's monster success it never made it back to tv until the cartoon series in the early 2000s. (Though perhaps that had more to do with the smashing success of the Holiday Special.)
It made it feel special to me. Guess that's going out the window too.

This movie? It was that bad? I've seen worse. I suppose it's a love/hate kinda film. Yes, the villain was disappointing, Han's death was just 'ehh..', Rey is OP but she is not without faults. But the movie was nostalgic to me and I think it was well done in general.

^Yeah, I think it was absolute trash. The acting was awful, especially from the two leads. Boyega's acting was the most atrocious though. Kylo Ren and his daddy issues were pretty awful too, and Hans death was just weirdly thrown in there. The plot was apparently just a lazy rendition of A New Hope, which I didn't realize until after the fact. The only real thing this had going for it was nostalgia, but that was ruined by terrible acting. I've seen better acting at my old high school plays lol

I have no idea what you guys were expecting. Sure it wasn`t perfect but TFA was miles better than the prequels. What more did you want?

i think its wrong lando wasn't in this movie and han never gets to talk to him before he dies. lando did break the falcon but i guess he never mattered

Oh god that final scene at the end of the trailer it's my worse fear and it's about to come to pass.....
