I believe it's the first one, though not 100% on it because it could be the latter. I got mixed at his reaction and the way on how the story parallels to them, so I don't know.

well even if it is maybe she just really admires him even with her tsundere/kuudere behaviour. Doesn't have to mean romantic attraction

Writing wise, that really don't make sense in terms of speaking about someone else. It's pretty obvious.

It'a not her behaviour, it's the translations, Mangastreams translation has a note below the sentance, explaining the word used meant, Adore/to yearn for. Which kinda implie romantic feelings...maybe it will be explained later o, what she actually meant...might be yearn for as a father figure or something.

OK so read the chapter, was sure that there was an inconsistancy with Nanou History, but tuns out when the Turn back the penendulum arc was shown, Nanou was already a member of the division,I had thought she was a orphan Lisa had taken a liking to and they would read together, rereading that part, this chapter doesn't feel out of place, Nanou was a member of the division at a very young age.
