I don't think Hinata's character never really went full circle as well. She was meant to become the heiress of the clan and prove to her father that she was no trash and forsaking the curse tradition. It seems that she is now a full-time houswife with no purpose in life. It looks like a punishment to her fans for forcing him to make NH by taking her role in life and killing Neji who she was supposed to end up with, lead and unite the clan. Maybe, its not a coincidence that she spends her last moments of ch 700 with Neji (united with him in a way) and is still mourning his death and her purpose in life.

I've posted it before, but there really were some interesting angles they could have gone with Hinata.

True for jiraiya but even if naruto had a hinata in his life he never actually loved her back for who she was and the love that she pour into him. He kept friendzoning hinata until the very bitter end and had to fall in love with out of pity and rather than genuineness. In a way hinata kinda got "used" to help naruto in pain arc and 615. If i were hinata i would moved on to someone who would  genuinely love me back not out of pity but you know kishi with his unrealistic view of relationships,romance a nd bonds sooo go figure.

Could be, or Kishimoto just forgot abot the whole "Hinata is suppose to fix the clan." thing. I'd believe either theory.

I mean was not supposed to inojin be the best friend of sarada ? why chouchou ? Couji and sasuke never even interacted (At least from what I remember) and karui hated sakura
Maybe this was sarcastic (since sakura and karui were enemys but her daughters are best friends)

You're totally right, I never noticed that.
Having salad call ino "aunt ino" would be really nice, and having sakura & ino be friends again would be really good, but knowing kishimoto....... (¬_¬)

Sorry but it wasn't. The reveal was poorly handled. He sort of became a different version of Sasuke because of his bipolar tendencies to switch his motivations. One chapter goes on how he started this war because of Rin the next chapter how Rin's death had nothing to do with him starting the war. And guess what the next chapter he switches to Rin.

 

Obito as Tobi could have been something really good. But exactly like everything else in this story IT COULD HAVE BEEN.

And your last part of the comment sums up what Kishi screwed up. Because it's not my job as the reader to write the story. That's the writer's job.

Exactly ! Introducing him as one of the final villain was a bad move, but I guess he needed an uchiha who used to be like Naruto so he can TNJ him and blahblahlah because Kishi cannot write different characters...I would have preferred Tobi to be a crazy psychopath who only wants to bring chaos on earth (a little bit like the Joker) rather than that. 

It's sad to see that most of characters in this manga had potential....wasted potential.

all that buildup resolved in a few panels, then Sasuke leaves again.

 

No explanations for being gone for the previous 12 years nor the next 12 years.

With this final chapter, it's clear Kishi can't stand the thought of NH and SS being together in his manga, cause not only was Naruto's family not relevant for this spin off, but Sasuke is leaving yet again, for no real reason. He could have easily written it so that Sasuke stayed and he could have given Sasuke a real smile in the family photo, instead of just barely a hint of one. Same with Naruto, who could have been shown hugging his family after seeing Sasuke reunite with his.

But nope.

The men don't give a crap about them, while the women come across as doormats willing to put up with the males BS just because. I can't wait for this movie to be done and I hope it's the last of the Naruto franchise, cause this series has been crap ever since the end of Pein's arc, while dying when Naruto and Sasuke got hand me down powers.

The way I see it is Gaiden and Boruto are chapter 700 remake. It won't change anything.
