maybe slightly unintentionaly the irony being ryu is blond and ken redheaded. the names were chosen more for their symbolism then any resemblance to the aforementioned game characters.

though on a fun side note both versions of Ryu have an affinity for Fireballs.

I hate to say this but seeing their male kids' names Ryu and Ken, I will basically say: "Oh hai, Street Fighter!" I already had that point when Karin first appeared in the series.

Although I could see Naruto naming his kids after his parents to honor them, but then again that's just too generic.

Actually that's not a bad idea but yeah it's quite cliched for sure and while we're on the subject of Street Fighter names, anyone here imagining Tenten naming her daughter Chun Li?

Why did you have to say that? I'm sure that Kishi isn't going to be a complete rip off when it comes to making his masterpiece end.
