Boruto the movie is made to conclude everything in a movie. Why leave loose ends if you are not 100% certain things will go on? It also allowed further material to happen because of its success.
Boruto also certainly has a story.
I think it's faulty to call Nail "Sasuke" at this point, way too early ad with Bolt taken some of Sasuke's traits, probably doesn't even fit that well.
Yes the movie concluded everything, but that means Bolt has no goal going forward. The difference between Salad and Bolt is that we do know that their is more then just deciding to become hokage in order to become hokage. Bolt just wants to become what Sasuke doing which means wander around and sometimes fight people, maybe do some wetworks.
Of course at the moment it's in its prologue and the clowns are doing their version of the Akatsuki, and what ever that vessel will be (probably their "gaara" or nail). At the end we will have Nail and Bolt fight. The current stories have nothing to do with Bolt's goals; they are just events happening around him.
Well everyone else noticed the similarities and I'm not just talking about people on this site. Also I did not call Nail (notice how you who keep getting offended that I don't use their real name yet here you are not using his real name either, what can't remember his actual name?) "Sasuke" I called him Bolt's "Sasuke." Which means he will become friends with Bolt, turn evil at some point, then destroy the village, most likely kill Naruto, and have a big final battle over the fate of the ninja world like Sasuke and Naruto had; there is your manga plot once they get to it... in fifty years.
