For goodness sake. To each their own. I don't find this weird, and just down-right embarrassing to live in a species where you're judged on how you act in your private life or in your social life instead of how you act in truth to other people, in an honest and good-way. It's like laughing at the kid who watched Jackie Chan Adventures when everyone else was watching Courage the Cowardly Dog. |:|

He married a VIDEOGAME. There is absolutely nothing that can be said that will *not* make this ridiculous and weird. Yes, he is entitled to do as he pleases. But he made this *very* public, and as such he should know he better be prepared for *public* ridicule.

I mean it's not like I *want* to make fun of the guy, and certainly not *encourage* it, but omg come on...it was even stated that this was a kind of 'stunt', so he *must* know that he's going to be in for a fair amount of worldwide teasing for pulling something like this.

Tvtropes call it Perverse Sex Lust. Honestly, not really all that surprised. May've had a moment of, wow, he did do that?. But eh, hopefully he grows out of it, but my best wishes on the guy.

Very public? Several million tuned in for Princess Diane or whatever's wedding on TV alone. Don't give me 'too public'. Plus, did he literally send this video to all the news organizations, saying "OH EM GEE, HAXXORS-MAXXORS I AM MARRIED TO A CHARACTER! (DESU)"? If not, and it's just the news organizations and you guys just going "Oh my word, someone not marrying an actual living thing? Preposterous! Completely unfounded! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going back to writing sexually-themed stories about two ninjas in a Japanese manga series".
