The new episode is out!

 

Thoughts...

That was a very sad episode. So Yota was an edo tensei all along and he used a jutsu to make Naruto, Sakura, Ino, Choji, Shikamaru and Kiba forget everything that they had been through together. That was quite a nice twist and it also helped reestablish the status quo so that the overall canon wouldn't suffer. 

Next week seems to be more reanimated edo tensei battles. It seems like these fillers will go on for quite a while.

I haven't seen the episode yet, is it ok if I ask .....Was there any pairing moments...?   Or even better, was there any cool fight scenes with Sakura in this episode? or mostly more flashbacks?  

 

I will watch it at some point, but I want to know if you think it was worth it or not....If you don't mind.

it was worth it for the emotional context very sad.

 

no fight scenes with Sakura persay and no real out right pairing moments.

The only thing you can call a pairing moment is to link the fact that both on Naruto and Sakura it snowed.&#91

There actually was one kind of big pairing moment. But not for Naruto x Sakura.

When they were kids and trying to save Yota, Shikamaru was able to use kagemane, even though they haven't been taught any jutsu at this point. Ino fangirled him and blushed. Her crush on Sasuke moved to Shikamaru. But once Yota wiped everyone's memory, it was forgotten. It was a "what if?" Although they seemed to remember everything as teenagers at the end. <br><br> I thought for filler it was interesting because Yota's good intentions ended up backfiring. He didn't want them to feel the pain of his death. So he took away their memories of him. But in doing so, he took away all of Naruto's friendships that would of changed his childhood. I know it is filler, but think of how different even Naruto and Sakura's relationship would be if they were friends from the start? &#91

A really nice filler. Boring here and there but a lot of emotional context.
