Is this proof that the naruto brand is no longer valuable to the Japanese audience?
The theme park looks very deserted and empty.
 
   

I don't think so. It can be empty because of it's so early or a day like Monday or something.

Here's another one that doesn't seem to have that large a crowd. Both videos taken in 2019 this one in April. Was this theme park made recently? It could have been planned since the end of Naruto, began construction, and only finished recently; last year or 2018. If that the case it could not have opened at a worst time. Covid-19 has forced shutdown of parks and even Disney has been suffering because of it.

 

Is funny that the only "Boruto" in the park seems to be a cut out of him and the rest is just Naruto?

I'm every Boruto's merchandise, apparently appear Naruto Shippuden's characters, don't Boruto. What I mean is Brut

A mixture of what was popular in both part 1 (team 7, chunin exams, Ino-Shika-Cho, Wave Arc, curse seals, and Jiraiya) and part 2 (Neo-Team 7, Akatsuki, ten-tails/kaguya because they have to) but still correct.

As far as I can tell too, anything ORINGINAL in Boruto is either irrelevant or not popular enough of an idea to give focus to.

That "fake" confession is more heartfelt and real than... What we got. NaruHina is so bad that Even Twilight is making fun of it.

Plus the fake confession was to protect naruto and gave up on Sasuke cause really naruto was so reckless when it came to Sasuke.

The Kishimoto's original idea was make a fight between Sasuke and Sakura's team so putting Databook, Yamato's phrase, and Sakura's screams it makes me think the conffesion wasn't fake at all. But it's just a theory.

...I don't think I have heard anyone mention this before. Where did you find that information?

 

Sounds like another case of his editor telling him to drop something and him following along. The editor because they don't want Sakura to be the heroine, and Kishioto not realizing  whats going on. I hope it wasn't the same editor from the pein arc.

 

Also the confession wasn't fake just weirdly phrase and Naruto had doubt that Sakura was over Sasuke because he wanted it to be when Sasuke comes back everything is restored to the way it used to be. That also why he collapsed after the talk with Gaara because he was coming to the realization that wasn't going to happen; Sasuke was too wanted a criminal, and Sakura was willing to kill Sasuke to free Naruto of his promise.

What kishi was thinking of when he wrote all the crap in Five Kages Arc. Naruto asks Raikage to forgive his brother's kidnapping. And Kishi proved just how failed he was as a writer when he brought Sakura back to the fan girl she was. I mean, at the beginning of Shippuden, when they saw Sasuke, Sakura didn't let that affect her by attacking him. But this is against what happened in Five kages Arc. kishi finished off naruto.

yeah that sketch was made by Kishi originally.

Yeah I saw that from somewhere too. I can't remember where though. But indeed, the idea was Hinata was a regular village girl that so happened to have liked Naruto. She was only put in with Kiba and Shino because Kishi ran out of ideas for females for their group. Not to mention, manga wise, Hinata was only formally introduced in chapter 37. So anyone that believes that BS lie NH was planned form the beginning are either ignorant of this information or just latch onto it "like a pirhana" because it is what they want to hear

Here is the thing....yes, technically Hinata was created first, but what they forget is that Hinata was never meant to be a main character or even a side-character. Just a random girl who liked Naruto. It was the pressure from editors to make more....relevant and into a ninja

Another thing that has to be remembered is the Yahagi interview. Kishimoto's first editor.
Kishimoto said that it was Yahagi's infleunce to say "Naruto needs a rival" and Sasuke was born. Then Yahagi said "You need a lover interest for that rivalry as well" and thus Sakura was created.

I want to to think about that. Yahagi said "you need a love rivalry" and Hinata was never even brought to the table. They made a completely new character for it. To me, THAT says that NS was originally the intention because Hinata was never part of that love rivalry. Sasuke was pining over her. Naruto wasn't pining over her either.

Its this detail people are forgetting. Hinata was NEVER meant to be anything more than a random village girl.She was NEVER intended for what we got and it was everyone else's influencethat made it so. This is why, when you notice, that the only way NH and SS get any positive moments....it was someone else who had to write it.

Yeah. We can only blame the later editors who just were for Hinata as well as Studio Pierrot for making things a huge mess as they were by the time the series ended, ruining everything that was done-zo, and it didnt help Kishimoto checked out due to his dad dying and his just being burnt out but effectively forced to keep going on the series.

Its a damn shame Mr. Yahagi couldnt remain on as editor or that Kishi had more will when to say No to his editors after that. Say what you want about Bleach and how it ended BUT Tite Kubo stuck to his guns and made sure he did what he felt was best for the story as well as from some of the ideas he worked on in the prototype chapter for the series that he worked on before it got fully picked up for Shonen Jump.

You have this blonde loudmouth orphan, trained to be a professional soldier. Despite this, he constantly shows no respect for authority or even understanding of what he is supposed to do. Instead he talks about being a knight, wants to do more important jobs than what he is assigned and has failed the final exam multiple flipping times because of his immaturity. He's also the rival of a dark haired, brooding orphan.

 

The Naruto-wannabe is the rival in this game. And when you really think about it, Seifer acts as a prime example of why people like Sakura would have issue with him during the early arcs. Take away Naruto's POV, examine the series, and you'll see he's a pain in the ass when he's not being a liability to others.

I think that Sasuke is who Rules is talking about when mentioning Seifer. Even as we saw how Sasuke was trying to be good at following orders, his ego and desire to be stronger than anyone else due to his fragile ego over how Itachi had always been better than him even before the massacre led him to be an ass a lot of times, egotistical, a bully, as well as trying to use his teammates for his own goals, like when he complimented Sakura's Genjutsu skills in the start of the Chunin Exams just to benefit himself and his need to prove he's better than everyone else just to want to kill Itachi and prove he's his superior (something he never was able to do no matter how hard he tried).

Pretty sure Seifer wasn't a tragic social pariah though, on top of the pov not being on him. He also doesn't really show sympathetic traits like compassion for others or determination for his dream either that makes such characters more likable. At least not at the beginning but I 'm just talking about initial impressions, I never played FFVIII personally.
