What I think about this chapter...

I'm just UTTERLY, STRONGLY shocked because Sakura is so damn OOC to a point it's painful to watch.

That moment between her and Sarada, that moment when she's pocking Sarada's head it's just.... Completely out of it. I'm sorry. That thing hurt me and shocked me a lot. It's like Kishimoto is grasping to branches because he lost the forehead kiss that was his real love back-story since the beginning of the manga. How could that forehead poke became such a big thing ? How that forehead poke that was ONLY between Itachi and Sasuke have spread to Sasuke and Sakura, and then to Sakura and Sarada ? Please ugh... I'm sure Kishimoto will make Sasuke poke Sarada's head at some point now. It's so cheap... I can't even...

Naruto was supposed to kiss Sakura on her forehead. THAT was supposed to be the real love back-story of the manga. THAT was the real thing that was spreading since the beginning. We even had Tsunade and Dan play in it.

He sets everything up in the beginning to have Naruto kiss Sakura's forehead, and he foreshadowed it all along. That was a very classic theme that you can find in a lot of manga stories. Girl is in love with the "cool" guy, good guy is watching and good guy is actually what the girl really wants but she can't see it yet.

Even those moment when Kishimoto paralleled her (again) with Kushina were OOC for Sakura because she never had that kind of behaviour. Sakura is more foolish. She never had that kind of almost shy reaction. What happened to her lust and her foolishness ? She became a woman and a mother OKAYYY... but it's not her. She's not really exactly like that. Her putting her finger under her mouth like that, it's not like her. And her loling while she's touching her head... it's a Naruto thing. It's not Sakura's. I can't even recognize her with this behaviour.
Yes she was like Kushina in the manga, but she never was the exact same copy. She was always herself.  She was just giving a Kushina vibe that's all. This is not Sakura.

I'm sorry but it's exactly like Kishimoto IS FORCING HER RESEMBLANCE WITH KUSHINA to make her look even more like her. To make her look even more like the girl that was like Kushina. Or else he's just so short of ideas and so lost that he just recycled what he already wrote... I don't know he already wrote that kind of exchange between Naruto and Kushina so it would be easy just to reuse it. But he's not that dumb right ? What does he want to show ? Really ? I think it's all on purpose.

Also, why did Sakura look sad when thinking about a kiss with Sasuke ? Did they never even kiss ? Really ? Why is Kishimoto doing this ?

 

Also, how it's possible that a girl as young as Sarada at that moment would say to her mother " you're nasty " and think that her mother was thinking about sex ? Really ?? It's an adult response not a child's !!

Why that 'Karin is the mother thing' is still here ? Why Naruto is still saying to Sarada that it's not really important ? It's like Kishimoto is setting us up. Is Karin really the biological mother of Sarada ? I can't make my mind to accept that a SHÔNEN MANGAKA would write that. I mean really ? He already went too far. It's a shônen ! Why doing all this ? Is this a rebellion ? Are the editors really OK with this ? Maybe they don't care... after all, they just wanted to know that poor Hinata was able to be impaled on Naruto's kitten, so they can fap on the idea of it.


AND THEN

PAGE 8 came.

I'm sorry, I'm now SURE AS HELL that Kishimoto is sending a message.

The fact that's it's Naruto saying it is while talking about love and about Sakura... makes it even more stronger.

This is Kishimoto telling us that canon doesn't matter. Only feelings that are buried deep down inside are real. Canon is not real. Canon (hard facts) can't change the feelings that were in the past. If you love someone, well then you love that someone, no matter what happens.

PS : and I was right, Kishimoto really used that lame excuse that we were talking about for Sasuke's weakness : jumping dimension. And he let Naruto with no excuse, still looking like a total looser. The Hokage.

Tell me about it. Was on comicvine the other day arguing with a dude who was convinced that Sasuke, even without the susanoo or any other kind of jutsu protection, is nigh invulnerable to the point that bullets would bounce off his body even if he were sleeping.

 

I've noticed massive butthurt from Naruto fans about other Shounen manga surpassing them. Especially Yhwach from Bleach who's neigh omnipotent

You're right. I remember one said better than One Piece, which that post that he replied has nothing to do with One Piece at all. It's like "Where did that come from?" Is that the best argument?

Basically, if she's alive, then she can fix the DNA bs crap. If she's dead, she is the mother. So...basically, Kishi got two chapters with him and think on what to publish.

By now, he should be finished the chapter.
So whatever bs he write in the last will make us laugh or stretch our head.

At the end of chapter 8 naruto said he wants to speak with sasuke after all this mission done, i have a strong feelings he gonna ask sasuke regarding sarada DNA or his feeling and obligation to his family. Maybe sasuke gonna answer with "I told you naruto i don't have interest in her and bla bla bla......"

If it's the final sentence of this post happens. Naruto should just ask permission from Sasuke for Sakura's hand as a concubine. Sasuke refuses, than Naruto has to power to annul Sasuke and Sakura's marriage on a whim.

In term of fire power, I think naruto is stronger than onepiece.
Onepiece damage scale is lower because their arena of battle is an island.

Sakura saying the forehead poke is more special than a kiss was probably because thats the only thing they did.

And are we suppose to feel nostalgic on those 2 pages of flashback? Sadly there is no effect on me anymore.. i used to get feels on those but didnt they all ruined those moments in the last? Where was Hinata among those? I thought she was actually the first lol

 

Maybe it's Kishimoto's way to re-re-set Naruto's past story after The Last changed it.

Storywise, Naruto doesn't even come close to One Piece. Weak story arcs like Fishman Island blow everything Post-Pain arc out of the water. Hell, I find One Piece flashback characters more compelling than anybody in Naruto Post chapter 450 and espicially post chapter 692.

Storywise, Naruto doesn't even come close to One Piece. Weak story arcs like Fishman Island blow everything Post-Pain arc out of the water. Hell, I find One Piece flashback characters more compelling than anybody in Naruto Post chapter 450 and espicially post chapter 692.

That's positive response. The downfall of Karin being alive is that Kishi can pull a kitten troll and make believe that Sasuke and Karin were already married and Sakura is just a decoy.

Why do I have the feeling that the April 4 SP/SJ interview with the VAs said about Naruto and Sakura's bonds are more stronger than husband and wife. Sakura is more like Kushina than any other female cast. And Naruto and Hinata's relashionship cannot work without Sakura so that the three of them can have a happy family in the end might actually be legit instead of a mere jest

Drama is left for Shoujo. This entire series became a Shikoku as soon as atL aired in Japan. This manga is nothing but a kitten soap opera.

So you guys all think that that scene with Sucksuke and Suckura holding Tomato Salad hands helping her walk  was legit flashback memory !? . I thought it was another imaginary wishful thinking of Tomato Salad like that hug scene she had isn't it drawn in the same style !?   .  Also it was already confirmed in her imaginary hug scene and chapter 1 the beginning of this Gaiden crap  that she has never ever meet up with Sasuke !? That's 12 freaking years so how can this shiit be legit and have this "memory" unless its another wishful imaginary thinking of hers , WTF is going on really !?     Besides how the hell would she remember that isn't she's too young in there !? heck even I don't remember the moment when I first walked   .

One Piece is simply superb. All the character's are on track, you find yourself emotionally involved with various ones, the females are badass as hell and the storyline is always interesting. The last made about 1.75 billion yens or something. One Piece's movie Z (the latest one) made 6.85 billion yens. It made more in 1 movie than Naruto movie franchise did in its full run so far. And one Piece isn't even close to finishing.

 

Oda also won a Guinness record a few days ago. "The most copies published for the same comic book series by a single author." I believe. 

 

One Piece is simply brilliant. Even if I find the current arc boring.

Very well said. My opinion is that Sasuke being Kishi's favorite is perhaps that Naruto and Sasuke's friendship and relationship is based off his and his brother Seishi's relationship. Sakura being like a carbon copy or imitation of Kishi's wife all thanks to Oda made a comment at Kishi's wedding that Kishi's wife looks like Sakura. The chapter 700 finale interview he stated that Sasuke is like Seishi and he sees himself as Naruto. You put Sasuke and Sakura together. Right their in Kishi's mind that the SS story is a depiction of a love story between his brother and wife. That's why he dodges question and admits in one of his interviews that he has been suffering from Sasuke and Sakura for 15 years. He hates and despises SS as much as us NS fans. SS was needed so SP can make  NH can become canon. 

 

This chapter proved that Sakura may still be a virgin because their is "Zero" courtship from Sasuke. Even if Kishi gives NH and SS a happy ending. Its not because he likes them. Because off the manga sales in the west. However, he may do the impossible and just completely destroy this manga. There is no way of telling which direction Kishi will choose. But I know Kishi knows that must of us think that he will go with the happy ending. I always looked at the least expected version of the ending 

 

Can i see an actual source for this? The only thing i heard is that sasuke is based off of his brother but i never heard of that both sasuke and sakura were based on his wife and brother.
