#981706 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Yahagi leaving itself wasn't the cause of Naruto collapse as much as his replacements were Hinata fans that wanted her to become the heroine.

True. I remember going back over Naruto Shippuden after the ending to understand why it happened, and what I gleaned from it was that once Yahagi left the themes that were being developed in Naruto and early shippuden slowly began to unravel to benifit what Studio Perriot always wanted to do (among other things).

We started getting dragon ball z level fights that no one could hope to challenge, child of prophecy/fated reincarnation mumbo jumbo, and a alien princess who is in fact connected to Sasuke and Naruto through this incarnation kitten. We literally saw in slow motion an overarching aspect of Naruto get destroyed in the latter chapters of Shippuden for the sequel Boruto.

Even if he takes over Boruto I feel without Kosuke Yahagi (his original editor), whatever "magic"-- in terms of story telling-- he tries to breathe into Boruto will fall flat. It's built off of the skeletal remains of what Naruto used to be. Boruto is only catered to pro-enders and new fans, so the only thing I can see him doing is bringing the original art style of Naruto to Buroto. It'll be interesting to see how he'll handle the mess that is Boruto...

I was reading the comments. Most of the users commented about how he was ostricized from the village and had no one to believe in him, but didn't "The Last: Naruto the Movie" retconned his early childhood (and personality) for Hinata? Isnt it true that he doesn't understand what love means? All that loneliness he felt as a child only to realize that he couldn't differentiate his love of ramen from his "love" of Hinata. That's why he didn't know Hinata was always with him since day one! His first true friend and first true love...

I jest, but honestly being a reincarnation of basically a God does seem pretty privlaged to me. Then being told by Hagoromo that his fued with Sasuke has been destined since Asura just puts a nail in a coffin for it, huh?

Just another reminder that chp 700 of the manga and everything after that was built on greed, bias, and Kishimoto not fighting for the integrity of the characters he created.

It's really annoying how Kishi won't let this go.... All he's doing is giving us a constant reminder that all the themes (old generation surpassing the new generation.......etc) Naruto was built on was a lie.

Also, is  chouchou just there for comedy ???? because it's not working.
