So it seems we'll get a bit of Naruto next chapter then? I'd be pumped if he still didn't have his fail attitude towards everything.

Naruto- "So what Sasuke murdered innocent people and attacked the kages, hes just misunderstood so its ok for him to kill and be a missing nin, as long as he says hes sorry."

Its time to grow a pair Naruto and stop worshiping the ground Sasuke walks on. He had a hard life, doesn't give him a free ticket to do whatever he wants.

As for the chapter, awesome fighting, Kisame is like a bijuu, probly should have seen that coming. Bee is freaking awesome. Just hope he pulls out the win this time.

It kinda seems like Kisame is the only character that never looks scared or surprised in a battle. He always seems to be on top of things.

My thoughts:

Samehada can reduce the tailed transformation ... could be helpful in the right hands. (I'd like to see Sakura wield that thing!)

Kisame is a scarey dude, but his weakness has been pointed out already: he has to be separated from the sword and Bee's attacks can take him down.

I really want to see this animated because I'm having a hard time trying to imagine all the attacks in this fight. Seems like there just isn't enough panel space to really illustrate this fight between two badass dudes.

As for the other two guys, there's been a ginormous hint that Mizukage will save Ao before his body gets decapitated. Even though that fall would only take a second, in Naruto time there's still a whole week for her to get there and save the day.


Glad to hear the spoiler suggesting that Naruto might be making a move. Against Sasuke probably, but I think he'd be smarter to go after Madara firstest. That guy has to have some weakness, all we need now is some secondary or disposable character to figure it out and pass on the information.

There are seals on Ao's earrings that protect the Byakugan eye when it's in danger. Only a missing nin hunter from his village can remove it. So the ANBU guy is trying to cut off Ao's head. I think the weird bag you mentioned is the doll that Ao's mind has been transfered to while the ANBU controls his body. Hope that helps clear it up some.

Do we really know how long it's going to last? I know what Kishimoto said about 'steadily drawing to it's conclusion,' but statements like that make me think I'm missing something.

I was hoping for a timeskip (i like the idea of Naruto and Sakura being closer to adulthood when they replace the next generation), but now I'm afraid he's going to try to wrap it up by very very soon.

Anyway, sorry for my way-off-topic mini-freakout. If it's been discussed somewhere already, then point me to it!

I don't think anyone knows for sure when it's going to end. I wouldn't count on another time skip or a part 3 or any story line portraying Naruto's adulthood. I think either Sasuke or Madara will be the final villain.

Learning from previous Akatsuki Members loosing their cloaks and then dying in the battle. Wouldn't the fact that Kisame has removed his cloak mean something for the end of the battle?
