Wow that is alot to take in, 10 tails, war, the moon holding the 10 tails lol. WOW. Well I guess it will be 1 more week until the much waited for meeting between Naruto and Sakura. That is unless Madara gets another huge monologe. But dang, the story gets even better as it goes on, its insanely good now. Kishi you are..... really good at what you do.

I don't know if she's going to cut it off with Naruto but, the mood has definitely become awkward.

Erm... What does "Cut it off with" mean, exactly?

EDIT:

Apparently the word referenced also means "to quarry / to cut (timber) / to cut and carry off / to begin to talk / to break the ice / to broach / to bring down", so in context it most likely means "To begin to talk". Basically, Kiba is commenting that he doesn't know for certain that Sakura's gonna cut to the chase. Or it could be a comment on the promise, we'll see. All we know is that it most likely has NOTHING to do with Sakura cutting any ties with Naruto. And with Naruto's little sequence in this chapter, it seems that he's now more concerned about Sasuke by force rather than dragging him back to Kohona to rejoin the village. We'll see Sakura's thoughts on the matter soon enough.

But yeah, hopefully, she just cuts to the chase. Not much time...

Question... Why the eff is Lee going? I mean, I love the guy, but it's just... so random. Send Tenten or Shino, whydoncha.

I can understand why Kiba's joining, but why Lee? For fighting because Sakura is the weakest of those three??

I can understand why Kiba's joining, but why Lee?

I agree it sounds odd.
As other people said, could be to give him more face time.
Or Kishimoto has a special speech to Naruto in mind, that would need to be delivered by a "hard worker".
Or maybe he is claiming some special connection to Sasuke, considering the thrashing he delivered before the Chunin exams.
Or he made one of those crazy promises ("if I don't visit the land of Iron, I will have to eat ramen using my left foot").

Twenty bucks says half of the Ninja Coalition army dies by Sasuke's hand. It doesn't have to be exactly, but around there. Hell, make it a huge ass-load of them dying, just by Sasuke alone.

If you noticed, he always gets beaten one way or another. Haku, Oro, Gaara, Itachi, Naruto, One tailed Naruto, Deidara, Itachi again, Mizukage, yeah, he has gotten his butt kicked plenty of times lol.

Well we also have to remember that Kabuto is still on the loose, so Madara may recruit him to be a new member of Akatsuki. Also, with Orochimaru dead no one is in control of the sound village and Madara may use Sasuke, since he killed Orochimaru, to take over the sound village. In fact, the Akatsuki may have follower that we don't even know about yet; like how Sasori had follower in the sand village, and like how Pein was the leader of the rain village, the Akatsuki may have control over other smaller shinobi villages. I don't think someone like Madara would start a Ninja war without the power to back him up. But on a side note, can't wait for this weeks chapter to come out. Hope for NaruSaku interaction soon.

Kabuto is out of league. He want's revenge on Sasuke for killing the only reason he was alive, Orochimaru, so I don't think Madara would recrute him. Actually, i think Kabuto might even join Konoha and the other nations insted, or just remain neutral and wait for the perfict time to kill Sasuke.
