So ya it let me get this straight, naruto either has multiple scarfs or just a green one?

Well so much for the red scarf of fate since we see a green one, even the lighting shows it as green, in that same picture with sakura, her outfit is still red so yeah it's green.

The enemy isn't even a hygua or byakugan user, well so why would he need hanabi? Some crazy stuff only she can unlock? Wait a minute, hinata still isn't the heir to her clan? Perhaps her role in this movie is ascending to that instead of nh?

Oh boy as far as I am concerned, until the ending of the manga comes, this is still noncanon in my book, hell if the ending is fine enough if it has enough to make ns be canon, then that's it for me, nothing else needed.

Isn't it funny how there is nh hype then a it more comes out to say it's not exactly like that? I mean hanabi a role isn't a means to grant nh and Sasuke still has a role so something with him should be more important than hinata. Otherwise if it's going by canon, unless we see stuff from the manga continuing, then surely some ns stuff should occur as well?

We just need to wait and see a bit more. That is all. Not all nh hype as it once was though.

Besides we have a good chance if ns stuff in the end with the promise so there's also that.

Where are you guys seeing a blue scarf? I think it's just a bad quality image. Also wasn't this movie states as canon 1000 times?  Sasuke is wearing something on his hand too.

Actually don't know if it has ever been directly stated the Last will be canon. We know it takes place years after the war. Kishi has a hand with the story, and obviously did the character designs. However I can't remember any kind of promo stating the Last is canon, maybe I'm forgetting something though. Please remind if they have directly stated it. I personally don't care, I just don't want to misinform other people.

Well I decided to try and settle the Scarfgate issue by seeing what colour is picked up in photoshop, and according to PS, the scarf with all the gang is green and the other one is blue, so final answer is inconclusive, sorry guys, ScarfGate argument must continue on.

That's interesting because I have be believing, similar probably everyone, that this was OFFICIALLY announced as canon work, when in reality it just fans' speculation saying it is canon work. It could still be canon, since there is this whole new era project surrounding it, and Kishi's heavy involvement (though I don't think they advertise his involvement as strongly as they did with RtN, which was one of the big hooks with that film). Though the filler-ish plot, lack of an unique villain, and overall advertisement for the film makes me kind of not want it to be canon.... Unless it turns out to be awesome, then I would all for it to being canon. Just currently the film, with the information we have, doesn't give me a lot to care about...

-the sketch of the mysterious girl claiming its Hinata (and that she's pregnant with Naruto's child, this one was confirmed to be completely false).

-The scarf according to them it was given to Naruto by Hinata (from what I've read this is also false).

-The screenshot of Naruto walking ahead with a somber expression, behind him Hinata.

 

So apparently the third one is the main reason why NH fans are making a big fuss. Including Forneverworld who just like the fandom jump the gun and scream canon. I lost count how many times they have jump to conclusions and they're proven wrong.

Well, to be honest, I think since this movie is a hype, they probably don't care about story. I mean how funny Naruto just do that moment and he's rewarded to be Hokage. Oh yeah, he can get that reward for doing something like that.
