Much sooner for me. At the very least, it was since his hyperventilating moment with Ay when he refused to spare Sasuke's life. 

Yeah that's true and the way he treated Sakura over the confession was pretty despicable too. All in all that arc was a contender for the worst in the series.

Argh yeah, this is getting old, with Naruto thinking everyone has this stupid, tragic past, or the hero hates killing as you said with Kira sadly never seen SRW, but the kick back Kira got must have been super hard?

 

Lol, yeah, the pushback is super hard. As a Tolkien fan, this amazon series is going to be more woke crap, but it is funny because we know the lore inside and out. I mean, here is what made me laugh a while back they thought Kaguya could take on someone like Sauron, it was clear this was a Hinata fan because of the bio pick and an image of Hinata.

 

But then came many Tolkien fans saying how Sauron would either outright kill her or enslave her, how his arm is far better than her weak white Zetsu army, and so much more and the fool kept trying to say how Kaguya could win, saying she is a Hyuuga like his wifu Hinata/ the best female Character ever made, but more Tolkien fans kept going after him until he stopped answers them.

 

So, yeah Amazon and the woke have picked the wrong fight here one they will lose.

wow that was a thing with kaguya vs sauron. Besides sauron was the better villain and he was an eye for the whole series. They ingore the facts and make stuff without any base to stand on. i could say wendy from fairy tail can beat hinata and have proof

I literally can't go on a youtube video about a female anime character and not see Sakura's name brought up in the comment section with huge debates about her. They way Sakura is the bar ( albeit a low one thanks to Kishi) for all female characters. She will forever be famous. LMAO

I can never say this enough, Sakura's debates are always about how she did not instantly fall in love with Naruto who needed a friend at the time, and to rub salt in the wound was a fan girl of the latter's rival. Again, the whole "she is useless", "she is ugly", she would lose to any other character in the setting etc. etc. stems from that one train of thought, I am sure. If we want to be honest, Hinata has been watching from the side lines way more often than fighting too and cried herself, yet she gets no flak for it. And also once again, those that call Sakura weak and useless during part 2/Shippuden BETTER not be Tsunade fans then because Sakura's powerset is the same as hers, so I better not hear any effing hypocrisy on that matter

Naruto really became a toxic series that pitted the fandom against one another on a lot of the characters (Sasuke, Hinata, Sakura just to name a few). Maybe it has to do with how Kishi structured his story and characters but I always found it really odd how it turned out that way.

The thing is that Naruto was in the mainstream and because it didn't focus on exploring characters too much; instead it relied on you identifying with the characters based of first impressions. That means you have a larger fanbase then is normal that are fighting over the characters they see themselves in against character they see that remind them of people they hate.

Well, I don't identify with any of these characters. I thought I did, but I realize that I am too smart to relate to any of them. I would not be in love with someone who abuses me like Sasuke does. I would not be in a relationship with someone who doesn't do anything like Hinata. I would not be in a relationship with a workaholic who won't spend time with us like Naruto while obsessing over another person and practically abandoning us at the drop of their name. I would not be so naive to believe that no one should be punished for crimes because "they grew up wrong."

Naruto is not relatable....and I am so sick of hearing people say this about characters. Especially when you write stories without actually looking at how real people work.

But you bring up something that is a constant thing in the story....why relate to the story when you can just write your own? People seem to make up their own canon because "it is more relatable." This is why people make kitten up about this series now. They WANT it to be relatable so instead of accepting the story, they just insert what they would have done and then call it canon. It is genius. The story writes itself. 

And honestly, how many ladies look at Sakura lifestyle choices and go "that's what I want: a dead beat husband and no romance."

Dead beat absent husband you mean. And Hinata is not the one not doing anything in the relationship, she’s the one house keeping and rearing the kids, and alo has to be on stand by when Naruto wants to scrape her lady bits, which by the way he hasn’t since their daughter was born it is implied. But yeah I look at Sakura and Hinata now and I WILL laugh in irony if any “Women’s equal rights thumpers” actually abide by their relationships

Sasuke not really one Americans inserted themselves into...or they didn't talk about Naruto online at least. I never mention Sasuke as an insert character when I talk about it because I never seen anyone identify as Sasuke...unless they were having gay fantasies but they normally switched between Him and Naruto with Naruto still more often being the insert for those...or it third person voyeurisms. Its more Hinata, Sakura and Naruto they insert into.

 

Just for the sake of it here is a few other characters that are likely because they were inserts that I remember off the top of my head. 

 

Kiba: "I am a dog person."

 

Shikamaru: "I feel like I am incredibly smart but am too lazy to use my vast intellect."

 

Chouji: "I was the sweet fat kid in school everyone picked on."

 

Things like that.

 

For Sakura...watch/read anything targeted at young girls. "I'm the quirky girl with some confidence issues that loves the mysterious dangerous bad boy that only I can fix with my love, if only he would look at me." Minor hatred towards Karin and Ino for being girls also competing for that spot.

 

Hinata: "I am the shy girl that is secretly the most beautiful girl in 'Area.' I love this nice boy who should be totally mine, but he is with that slut instead." Major hatred for Sakura and Neji.

 

Naruto: "I am the bullied looked down on boy that will get my revenge on all of them once I become 'powerful' when I'm older." Major hatred for Sakura (friendzone) and Sasuke (cool kid in school).

There are two type of people that really hated Sakura/supported nH people with chips on their shoulders, and very lazy people.

 

The ones with Chips on their shoulders basically resented the fact that they had to work for something and may still not receive it. In other words, they made friends with a girl they wanted to have sex with, but they acted like a "nice guy" (instead of trying something like ask her out on a date) just hanged around her expecting her to have sex with them at some point. She doesn't because she see them as a friend, and then she is a friendzoning slut. "What that slut didn't instantly fall in love with him!? How dare that slut! He should go with the perfect woman Hinata."

 

The lazy one are lazy in all regards (physically, emotionally, morally, and intellectually) looking for the quickest easiest solution no matter the results. "I don't understand. Why is Naruto trying to make Sakura fall in love with him instead of going with Hinata who is already in love with him?"

It seemed like it was the anime vs. the manga for me. If you watched the anime only, then it was all Hinata, all the time. Naruto had an unrequited crush on Sakura, and she was always mean to him, picking Sasuke over him. Even when Sasuke was gone. And then again...Hinata.....

 

But if you read the manga, then it was like you got an entirely different story.

 

They may have both been Naruto branded, but only one of them Kishi wrote. The anime went off on its own time and time again. Those creators shipped NH, and so they frothed up a legion of fans who wanted the same thing.

 

It's not like we were all reading the same thing and came out with a very different response/viewpoint. One group is reading, another group is primarily watching, and believes that to be the canon source.

 

You can't read the manga and come away with 'Hinata is our queen.' She simply not in there enough! lol

 

I think some of the fan issues stem from the fact that you had two very different Naruto stories out there in the world, running at the same time. One of them pushed for a different ending. And they got it!

I agree with this. I never understood why people feel like you shouldnt have to work for what you want. They just think a girl should just automatically love you in the first second and if not, f*** them. Thats not how it works. If you love a girl, pursue them and put in the work. Show them they are worth all of your time and devotion. That was basically Naruto for Sakura.

Well said, Tricksie, and that makes it all the more frustrating in the long run when we see what a mess Naruto as a franchise has become because of the two different stories being told via the manga and anime.
