At that time, yes (but it seems stupid that, as far as we know, Jiraiya never told Naruto that), but even before then, Kakashi was shown to keep praising Sasuke for things while looking down on Naruto. Like when Sasuke used the Lion's Barrage, having clearly based it on copying Lee's movements from their short scuffle, Kakashi praised him for that, but when Naruto used the Uzumaki Barrage similarly, but all on his own, Kakashi didn't seem to give a crap. And then you had Kakashi trying to scold Jiraiya for teaching Naruto the Rasengan, seeing him "not ready" to learn such a powerful technique even though, as Jiraiya pointed out, he was more than willing to teach an assassination technique like the Chidori to Sasuke, so Kakashi clearly always had a bias towards Sasuke and against Naruto. This only looks even worse when you consider that, based on things he says later, Kakashi apparently always knew that Naruto was Minato's son and he clearly thinks the world of Minato, and yet still had that kind of bias thinking against Naruto.

Also look back to the bell test Kakashi was unimpressed by Naruto shadow clone. Despite them being a jonin level technique that naruto learned in one night. But was visibly shocked that sasuke was able to use the fireball technique. Despite it being chunin level and it being the trademark  move of the uchiha clan.

I feel like it's just a worldwide decision to make Hinata get all the spotlight more so than just Japan. If it was there, it wouldn't matter that much, so he could just leave it with Sakura without the concern of pairing. I mean he changed heroine so to say, yet he really didn't do anything with her at all, it's just a title to get all the perks that heroine gets: development (hardly), screen time, and love interest.

I mean Naruto is popular and all in Japan, but it's not big without worldwide. Worldwide barely amounts the same amount of One Piece in Japan only. In fact, Gintama was right behind it last year have that series didn't come back full force in half a year later and Naruto didn't have official canon movie DVD/Blu-Ray release, anime continuing in which leads more releases for home video and CDs, and novels.

They thought that since the US were big fans of hinata and wanted her to get what she deserved. That the rest of the West also must of wanted hinata to get what she deserved. Naruto was always SWJ big international seller for years. So they didn't mind losing Japan if they got/kept all the fans in the west...which they didn't get. Which led to the Bolt movie being very heavily SNS in hopes of pleasing the japanese fans.

Honestly, you could also blame the third for the team 7. When you look at the teams and I think Tsunade mentions this once when going over them. The third just pair similar teams together hoping they get results. It works in theory. Gai was give a team of martial artist and was allowed to train them by focusing on physical training. Lee was turned into a mini guy, Neji was a genius, and tenten was a weapon expert that the third praise her abilities. Team Asuma  is based on tradition of putting a Sarutobi in charge of their former vassals and creating the next generation of Ino-Shika-Cho. Team 8 was a tracking team with expert on genjutsu leading 3 people that had various tracking skills. Team 7 was a continuation of the first hokage line of teaching. The problem with team 7 is Kakashi.

Kakashi really is an apathetic man who is at best just following his old mentor's method and didn't adapt to his team. Look at how he trained Naruto (tree walking and wind manipulation) compared to Asuma and Jiraiya. Jiraiya was able to teach Naruto the rasengan by basically giving physical demonstration, and letting Naruto figure it out. Asmua after Naruto got stuck on wind manipulation was able to help Naruto through a physical demonstration, and then explaining it afterwards . Kakashi does a long complex explanation, then realize Naruto isn't getting it so he tries a simpler explanation(or get Sakura or Asuma to explain it instead), then realize Naruto STILL doesn't get and Finally does the physical demonstration, and finishes of with another explanation. He taught Naruto three things during the story line Tree walking, Shadow clone's trick, and wind manipulation. And that what he more or less did for each one. That worked for Sakura and Sasuke but it clearly didn't work for Naruto until the physical demonstration. As for Sakura he is not in charge of her love life(which is both ironic and hypocritical seeing as that what he does by the end). But he didn't give her any direction for her to focus on. Sasuke he gave that kitten speech and then went on a mission instead of sending some to keep an eye on Sasuke.

Most likely. I read the gaiden and gave quick summaries on them in the topic page for the gaiden. So the people here won't have to read them. Might as well do if for Bolt.

You think 'Otaku' = Passionate about manga, anime and Japan...

But this is a wrong translation of the Japanese word made from the American side.  The japanese word doesn't mean it.

 

The otakus are NOT just nerds or enthusiasts....

They are more like addicted to drugs. They have no life apart their interests.

What is worse they often merge what they actually saw in manga with real life, with all the drifts which this creates.

 

Really there is two reasons for this misunderstanding of the word otaku. A differences in culture in Japan & the US, and US anime fans attempt to sound more sophisticated by calling themselves a foreign word they don't understand.

In the US it basically a geeks vs jocks problem both have good and bad points. Geeks are week but smart but are mostly stereotyped as spineless leading them to being bullied. While Jocks are Strong but dumb and are stereotyped as the bullies. Both have their supporters who believe that one or the other is a fine way to live while disparaging the other. But both are accepted in society in their own way in the US and the west. In Japan their a more work focus culture. Working people are a benefit and are improving and maintain society. While non working (such as otakus) people are a drain on society and are leading to it's degradation. And since Japan has a society over an individual person mindset other then in manga anime and light novels most things support the workers (as far as i understand) unanimously. So the US is fine with geeks, while Japan considers them a waste of space if they are not working.

Also people would watch the sub version of anime didn't understand what otaku meant. All they saw were people they saw as nerds being called otaku, and figured that must be the Japanese word for geeks and nerd. Not knowing of the negative connotation that is actually associated with the word. So they proudly started calling themselves otakus to represent their love of anime and japanese culture, while not understand what the word actually meant. Making them look like idiots.

Otaku is a Japanese term for people with obsessive interests, commonly the anime and manga fandom. So what does being an otaku have to do with making fanfiction and smutt?

You're thinking of otaku is that of what western fans have turned that term into. ie the Japanese word for nerd and geeks. What it really means is basically pathetic loser that are a drain upon society. And in a country and a culture that believes putting society's interest entirely before a single person. That's a bad thing.

Also if you start using character in anime that proudly proclaim they are otaku as an example that not the case. One that an attempt to please the otkaus so they purchase the stories products. Two they still write them as complete weridos and losers they just use it as an attempt at humor through the otaku's oddities or they should be proud because of their uniqueness. Three some writer may also be otakus so of course they try to make them look better and better perceived in their stories then they are actually in real life.

When Looking at the other picture the person has their a similar style between certain ones so it was probably made by the same person and it was probably made by this staff member.

Honestly this person is a better artist then the guy who going to be drawing the bolt manga.

Remember after this movie Naruto did get the nickname "The Worst Scumbag." While nH was now known as "The pairing of death." Hinata only call a terrible sister. But back to Naruto the fact that he is the one getting that nickname should hint that he does stuff that is so disgusting that it pisses off people that watch the movie. Hinata does what she always does wait around does nothing and has no follow through. It just consider praise worthy because the creators are worshiping her. The only reason s she ends up with Naruto after this is the genjutsu fills Naruto with guilt, and Sakura takes up hinata's cause and pushes these two together. Also Toneri kidnapping then made it a competition.

The so call perfect pairings they keep touting and gloating about can't seem to get along at all unless they are fighting NS. But aren't these the perfect parings that make complete sense in story and fit perfectly together for the ending? Oh Why oh why would a perfect pairing team fight?

That's true I mean at this point this should just be called Hinata since it all the NH fans care about at this point I mean even when a NaruSaku fan does a new story you get the NH or SS fans well being kittens saying its over and being smug about it.

 

But like you said they all pitted and stupid sad girl who could never do a thing, but its gotten worse as some are going to other fandoms saying how better Hinata is then them, they are a few, and even I have gotten a few guest reviews on my fanfiction stories crossovers saying all the females suck Hinata is the best.

 

I think in one they had Naruto with another girl from their crossover and all people did was kitten that Hinata was not with Naruto that it should be a harem that Hinata should be the head wife as all the other girls are well to a Hinata fan this is what I pick up they see all other girls that even try to win Naruto's heart as kittenes and a few other not so nice words.

 

You see this is just how crazy her fans are, I mean if I ever did this manga and I found out just how crazy that her fandom was I would have done a test have her sister get captured and see if she cared yes I would have Naruto and Sakura go but if they cared more on NH hint then next arc I would have killed her off being what we all know Hinata is and when asked I would just say this.

 

"You all cared more for a girl crushing on a boy she hardly knows that her caring for her sister, and that is something as a writer I will not stand, this is not a story of love this is a story about bound and friendship, and no Hinata was never there for Naruto I have no idea where fans even got that Idea."

Isn't your idea basically the last?Also the problem with that is were to put it? Kishi basically made part 2 akatsuki and uchiha focus and it got worse after his first editor left. But yeah I would probably done the same or at least my god these kitten are this disgusting? Well I'm not showing her more then necessary and if they keep pushing I'll kill that character off. I honestly think Hinata fanbase along with SS is the worst fanbase in any fiction. What other fanbase destroys what their fans of and are so intentionally toxic they drive all other fans away? 

As for the fan fiction thing I haven't read any Naruto fan fiction in a few years especially Hinata fan fics, but here ever single one of their stories from what i recall:

Naruto lives a kitten life but then awaken something like the "omegagan" which is ten thousand time better and cooler then that kitten Sharingan. Which makes him instant badass and impossibly cool and all the girls want to suck his kitten now.

Someone points out to Naruto the Hinata loves him (even most fan fics didn't seem to believe hinata would confess to him first)...So he start dating her instantly. Just like that. Literally no effort on Hinata's part.

They bash Naruto's feeling for Sakura and have him question why he ever loved her (since they don't care about what Naruto actually thinks they come up with nothing most of the times). Then proceeds to torture and humiliate her throughout their story. leading to her either dying in a horrendous fashion, breaking down and becoming Naruto and hinata's obedient servant or some other punishment they feel is fitting for her. Also most stories seem to go down hill after they are done with sakura. Since they have no clue what do because their stories were really only about the superiority of hinata and fantasies of punishing sakura. And without her they just ramble on till they get bored with their story and start over.

Naruto normally also get a harem consisting of Kurienia, Anko and several other big chested woman in the series. Despite it making no sense since he only suppose to have one true love that is hinata. But Hinata normally OK with it if not outright supporting it by bringing in and training new members.

Hinata does horrendous and inhumane acts in the name of Naruto. But is then completely and utterly submissive and obedient to him unless they like the cold seductive manipulative woman part...then you wonder if they only like hinata for the kittens and not being sakura by that point. 

Also they punish Sasuke for thinking he was better then Naruto...but it normally a lot less graphic then what they do to sakura.

Or at least those were the fan fics I stumbled upon that made me hate the pairing and the people that supported it.

Oh I think that it will be but we have to remember that there are many better things for us to either watch or read, I mean we all know forHinataworld will read it as he worships the ground Hinata walks on.

 

True I mean the only real ones left are the crazy Hinata fans that sill like it, I don't count Edo as at least he is a better reviewer than Forneverworld, I just don't think Edo knows about Kishi's interviews or not.

 

True a few friends I know stopped doing stories of Naruto, while some have taken a rest for doing Naruto fics.

The problem is with Naruto franchise right now is that there is no story other then the romantic pairings. What were the gaiden the last and Bolt's movie other then conflicts because of the pairing with some villains thrown in for some action scenes? So at the moment their nothing to inspire ideas from. Hell the anime is actually taking ideas from fanfiction  right now and in a few weeks they be doing an arc based off a recently released side novel. That show just how few ideas people can pull from Naruto now because of the ending and these awful pairings have sucked the creative juices right out of the franchise.

Are their any fan bases left other then nH and maybe SS (even they are complaining about salad's new outfit) that still support this ending?

Most reviewer sided with hinata because they pitied her and wanted her to get what she wanted. As well as since the hinata fanbase was the most vocal in the US. They figured it must be the largest fanbase around the world. So if the majority want nH then they would support the nH ending(so they can get more views of course). But beyond that they probably found the ending awful but don't care enough to complain about it and figure since the ending nH. This must be what the fans wanted. Only people like saywer and Forever are true 100% supporter of nH and people have complain enough about them for you to figure out why they support it.

As for the interview most youtube reviewer don't really read author's notes or interviews...I'm pretty sure forever world only reads if a fan points something out for him that he then twist into pro nH.

Well just many are liking it more fans who were not even big fans of Naruto knew that NS was and would make more sense even a friend I know liked NH but after the ending he likes NS a lot more, I think as more time goes by and more of the crazy Hinata fans are around and Kishi and SP doing their BS we gain more and more NS fans.

 

James said it best I think a while on another page that our fandome has grown stronger true many have left but they are all still NS fans at heart as well.

Let see in The Last Naruto had to be guilt tripped into dating then marrying hinata, in the gaiden we have that bento scene with bolt as well as Naruto not giving a single thought to hinata also the entire plot also basically ripping any fantasy of SS to shreds, the inauguration one shot showed that Naruto sleeps on the couch also he & hinata have not romantic chemistry as well as the daughter a sociopath that made naruto miss his big day, and The Bolt's movie was basically the gaiden for nH bring all the problems the pairing would logically have were shown and it tore to shreds all the fantasies the nH fans had.

There are really two types of fans who supported nH and SS the fanatics who wanted it to happened because of their insert sexual fantasies, and the normally ones that hoped the pairings would give everyone what they wanted and everyone would be happy in story. The normal one are having problems with the ending because it's clear that the pairing destroyed these character lives and made a world a mess. Also when they bring up their problems within their communities they are getting attacked by the fanatics to the point it driving them out of the nH/SS fanbse. Then because they realize the problems with nH and SS they start to wonder if NS would have been better...and then find out it is and join our group.

naruto was the new dbz back then, as is it was the new thing to obsess over. it was easy because the world was interesting with simple rules. did i compare it to dbz? not at all, i thought it was stupid to do so. i wanted this to be its own thing. what got me into naruto was the characterization. i was so hooked on dbz it made me forgot what really mattered in a show/movie. it was never about the fights or who was most powerful, it was about the emotion and characters, relationships and story.

 

did dbz have that? sometimes. one would argue vegeta had it but, i never cared for vegeta till after his majin phase but, still there was no tension thanks to the dragonballs. gohan had his moments too but there were few and far between to the point he was shoved back in favor of goku again. yes i know it was his story but here's the thing; toriyama wanted to end dbz multiple times. fans couldn't respect that and demanded more. now look where we are. we practically got dragonball AF with literal recolored superforms.

The problem with dragonball was Goku completed his journey by the end of Dragonball. Dragonball Z was suppose to be the journey of Gohan...but then people kittened about wanting Goku and so tori had to go back to him. So the problem is in DBZ is Goku has no arc he is a completed character by the end of Dragonball and the only thing he has in DBZ are learning he's an alien and defeating freeza after that he wanted to pass on what he knew to the next generation so they can handle the responsibility when he is no longer around. But he can't do that because people want goku.

I'm sorry, but the very premise of that being Tsunade's dream world is too silly for me to accept. Anything that isn't gumballs and ice cream would never in the infinite tsukiyomi. This is just a desperate attempt to keep this series going on long enough until the Boruto manga comes out and gets enough chapters, allowing them to start animating that instead.

Pretty much. In theory the IT's dreams are "lotus eater machines." They make up a illusion of that person's dream world while they are slowly turned into zetsu's. Why the even have a dream instead of just being knocked out while they are transformed into Zetsu or anything else other than the world tree sucks out their chakra and life force and turns them into it. The only thing the dreams ever were was to give team 7 some sort of vague race against the clock thing and a setup for filler if the anime reached this point before the manga was over. The thing is they ain't using the dream's kishi came up with and the ones they have made don't make sense for the "person's lotus dream world." Which is even why pro-enders are getting sick of this filler and realize it just animated fanfiction.

Also another thing this is a monthly manga coming out in a weekly magazine. That another problem since the readers of a weekly magazine will have different expectations than someone who reads a monthly magazine. A person who read a monthly will understand that it comes out only once a month but are fine with waiting that month because the feel the story will be worth it. A weekly magazine people expect a new chapter each week, and get impatient when they don't get one because they want to see the story develop each week. When you have a monthly story along side mostly every week story it going to become the odd one out and it going to feel much slower pace than they other ones. The slower pace with make people become bored and leave because of disinterest. Unless the quality of the story makes up for it...*looks at the poster image again, thinks of the Bolt movie and that Gaara novel*..Yeah that not happening.
