I see Patriots passing a lot on this Sunday. The Lions have the best rushing defense and the 5th best passing defense, but they've took 2 huge blows losing Tulloch and Fairly for the season. Patriots just made the former best 2 offenses in the league look decent. All without Siliga and Chandler Jones. Imagine when those guys come back in about 2 weeks. People saying Browner looked bad this week, but it's hard to look good when an elite qb has like 8 seconds in the pocket. We were extremely dominant in the rushing defense again this week. Broncos and Colts combined for like 40 rushing yards against us.

Not going to lie. Wouldn't suprise me if this is another 20+ point blow out. If this game was being played at Detriot I would give a 30% chance to them, but @Patriots in the 2nd half of the season. As hot as they've been since 2007 right now. Really healthy looking. Detriot about to get blown out. Next week we'll be @Packers. Packer aren't the best in the league, but they're the only elite team in the NFC that has stayed healthy. Patriots vs Packers is looking to be the Super Bowl. Only Super Bowl that could be bigger than that would have to be Patriots vs Cowboys.

But man.... Brady vs Rodgers.... That would be something to see.

So glad we found our new Blount. I was really mad when Gray didn't made the 53 man roster after his good performance in the preseason. Ridley going out forced them to give him a shot because James White has been a disappointment so far. 3 games he let Tom be Tom and when he got his shot to run he wasn't bad at all. Now tonight Kraft told Gray to get ready for a huge night. As a guy nobody wanted for the past 2 years now. I really hope he keeps this up. If he gets around 30 yards againts Lions I won't judge him. Like I said. We're probably passing 85% of the time against the Lions and their terrible cornerbacks. Sure Lions blitz hard, but Patriots quick firing offense to curl routes with Lafell, and slots to Gronk, Amendola, and Edelman. It all is the weakness to any blitz-first defense. Like I said. Don't be surprised with a blow out.

When the season started, the Patriots had 3 holes to fill. They gained 2 more with injuries to Mayo and Ridley. What happened? Chung became a great safety. Hightower and Collins got EVEN BETTER, and we pick up great linebackers who have done a great job right off the bat. We have a new BEASTMODE powerback in Gray. We picked up a 2nd tightend with Wright. Then for the final hole, we have had several defensive tackles play great beside Wilfork, and now we added Alan Branch from free agency? When Chandler Jones and Siliga get back, don't be surprised if people call this a top 3 defense.

Just for completely brushing my team off... don't expect the Offensive that showed up (or lack there of) in the Cards game. I don't think you're giving Detroit enough credit anyway, to be expecting a blowout. Stranger things have happened in this season in Football (*cough Jets beating the Steelers *cough). Last weeks game was fully winnable if the Lions had a better Offensive strategy, after all, holding the Cards to 14 points isn't a joke.

Lions are ranked like 30th in offense this year I think. Sure Calvin hasn't been playing most of the time, but even with him playing. Watch us put Browner and Mccourty on him. Revis on Tate. If Calvin can't be contained by the most physical cornerback, and best safety in the league. Just switch Browner with Revis. If Revis can't 1 on 1 Calvin (which he should be able to somewhat considering this is the best match up in the NFL right here), then Mccourty helps some and he is shut out. Also you have to remember the Lions have had the 30th best rushing offense, and the Patriots rushing is starting to really click. Shut out Calvin and the game WILL be a blowout. Remember the Patriots win like 96% of their games in the 2nd half of the season. When at home they just are on crack.

They're only 2 teams playing with no holes in their team. Patriots and Chiefs. Only 2 ways Patriots don't win the Super Bowl this year. Injuries or giving Chiefs home court advantage.

Lions were winning without Calvin... so it's not like shutting him down means the end of the world other then the fact Stafford feels the most comfortable targeting him for some odd reason. And yes while the rush is absolutely awful this season after the promise of last season in that department, it's not the biggest of concerns, as the entire offense has to get better. Tate only got targeted twice last week, which is pretty much unacceptable, considering Johnson got targeted 12 times so it's not like Tate was well covered (going back to my Stafford like Johnson thing). Still that's pretty correctable... as for the offense, we rank 21st

Lions are a really good team this season, but like I said. Don't be surprised if the man leading the MVP race tears apart that defense. Now with Fairly and Tulloch out, those terrible cornerbacks need to step up against a top 3 offense Patriots. When at home in the 2nd half of the season. New England goes from being really elite to just something you don't talk about.

I love what Gray did against Colts, but I have a lot of respect for Suh's on the field ability.  Wouldn't be surprised if he only goes about 30 yards for 8-10 carries. Like I said. Tom hasn't been afraid to pass the ball all game and easily blow out the best teams in the league. When you have one of the best defenses in the league. You kinda play with a chip on your shoulder.

I've known and heard about Jonas Gray since I was in high school and he was something of a phenom at Detroit Country Day. Glad to see the guy succeed and with my favorite team no less.

I'm only worried about the Lions right now, they're defensive line is no joke and Suh is just an absolute monster, we've been through a murderer's row of good to great defensive lines but none get any better than what the Lions have this year. Fairley has a sprained MCL I believe so I don't know if he'll be back for the game, CJ Mosley is a good backup though. They have a good rotation of speed rushers that can really fly off the edge. Solder and Vollmer are good for one gaffe a game where they just flat out whiff trying to block guys like that. I don't care if we get 60 yards rushing total but i want at least 25-30 rushing attempts Sunday so the Lions pass rush doesn't pin their ears back.... WE CAN'T GET ONE DIMENSIONAL against a defense like theirs. DeAndre Levy is a great sideline to sideline backer and has been playing well. Their secondary is ok, Darius Slay has come on to his own, Rashean Mathis, Glover Quinn, and James Ihedigbo (Ughh 2011 secondary....) add a veteran presence in their secondary. Where I think we can take advantage is up the seams with Gronk and Wright all day long. I'd also like to use a bit more of Vereen out of the backfield and manned up against their LBs in space.

Part of the reason why we didn't really have a pass rush this week is because of Belichick wanting them to maintain the rushing lanes so mobile QBs don't break contain a la Geno Smith this year and Cam Newton last year. Stafford isn't as mobile as Luck so I do expect a bit more pressure against them.

As far as the Detroit offense, outside of the Giants game in week 1 they have been averaging about 17 points/game. With that being said they have all the pieces in place to have an explosive game. Theo Ridkitten has been playing better than Reggie Bush as their scat back. Megatron is dinged up but he can still threaten the deep third. Stafford completely ignored Golden Tate in the second half against the Cardinals.... I don't expect that to happen against us.

I expect to see a lot of mix ups of man and zone against the Lions. We have been doing an EXCELLENT job of disguising coverages and confusing the QBs we have played so far.

Browner adds a dimension of physicality and attitude that I love on defense, he'll get burned occasionally or get flagged. But come the playoffs I'll take it everytime.

Ehh, I can't blame him and it's hard not to be excited... Especially with Gronk playing the way he has (MVP for the Pats this year). Detroit is a legitimate playoff team and trust me when I say the Pats are not gonna take them lightly. We're 0-0 this week and 8 wins gets you nothing in this league.

A lot of my friends are Lions fans, and I'm curious for your guys' opinions on Matt Stafford and his development. From what I've seen he's got all the talent in the world to be great, he just can't get it done on a consistent basis?

#We'reOnToDetroit

BTW, how do I put a GIF in my sig..... Gronk throwing Sergio Brown outta the club was probably my favorite play of the game.

Woo! Awesome game for my Packers team. But as you guys have probably noticed from my comments I take my wins with a grain of salt. Until they play that way against an elite QB I'm still skeptical. It was only Sanchez' 2nd start in about a year +. Also, him folding under pressure is not new.

Once again the team to fear (at the moment) is the Patriots. This year has been a roller coaster ride. It seems like every other week some team is blowing up huge and then the next week they lay an egg (see Big Ben/ Steelers). But this is what makes the NFL so exciting.

On the debate of the Lions/ Pats, I think that will be a good game and a great test for both teams. As good as Calvin Johnson is when he's healthy, I think the Lions scariest weapon is Tate.

A lot of my friends are Lions fans, and I'm curious for your guys' opinions on Matt Stafford and his development. From what I've seen he's got all the talent in the world to be great, he just can't get it done on a consistent basis?

Stafford has always been this talented, I think he's just a bit smarter now making better decisions. This is still a newer development though, as sometimes he'll still regress to old Stafford who feels he has to force things. Not that I can blame him, his offense had been shifting around for years and Johnson hasn't been able to stay healthy recently.

So I'm curious to see Pats vs Lions, and am excited about GB vs Pats. I am a bit scared for our secondary vs Gronk. Our guys are undersized and when we get shredded over the middle it's usually for big gains. I love how often we get interceptions, but against good passing duos the bend but not break Dom Capers defense has always had me timid.

Gray's 199 yard and 4tds on 38 carries was fixed! Apprently they gave him the carry and -2 yards on a penalty play that canceled the carry. 201 yards and 4tds on 37 carries!!! HE BROKE 200!!!!

Edit: Siliga is back for the Patriots. Chandler Jones will be back as soon as next week, or as late as week 17

Well, I'll tell who won't be winning anything. The NFC South that's who. They are lead 4-6 Falcons who only managed 19 pts against Carolina's putrid D. 2-8 Tampa is still in the hunt. God, we are such a sad division. At least the AFC South has the Colts.

The only thing worse than the Carolina D is the Carolina O.

Before you read these, understand that the only team in the league without any holes in it is Patriots. Chiefs are missing some true dependable cornerbacks with their release of Flowers. Cardinals have a decent at best quarterback. Packers have a lot of troubles on their defense. Lions don't have a dependable cornerback either. They rely a lot on their pass rush to be effective on defense against the pass. Just like the Chiefs. The problem with that is when they play an elite quarterback in primetime (like the playoffs). Broncos is having injury problems now, and it looks like their run game is almost completely gone. You MUST have an established run game to go anywhere in the playoffs. Lions haven't had that either. Even when Bush wasn't hurt. Their run game wasn't playing good at all. Bush is one of my favorite runnerbacks in the league. They got time to turn the run game around.

My Week 12 1-32 rankings:

1. Patriots

2. Chiefs

3. Cardinals

4. Packers

5. Lions

6. Broncos

7. Eagles

8. 49ers

9. Browns (6-5 all without Josh Gordon who comes back this week. They will win the division.)

10. Steelers

11. Ravens

12. Bengals

13. Cowboys

14. Colts

15. Seahawks

16. Chargers

17. Dolphins

18. Bills

19. Texans

20. Saints

21. Rams

22. Giants

23. Falcons

24. Panthers (lowered rank more because of the release of Avant)

25. Titans

26. Buccaneers

27. Bears

28. Vikings

29. Redskins

30. Jets

31. Jaguars

32. Raiders

Crap, Green Bay is in danger. Best way to defend against Aaron Rodgers is to simply have two safeties with your corners on man coverage. Nelson will be on Revis island. And Brady will kill our pass D while Blount will smash us in the mouth with our mediocre run defense. ... Not looking forward to it now.

I've actually got the Pats going into Lambeau marked down as a loss. Rodgers is straight BALLIN' like nobody's business. The one throw that Revis can be had on is the back shoulder fade. It's damn near indefensible and Rodgers/Nelson are great at it. Most likely gonna be a shootout and the team that has the last possession will win. The Pats may also go with a similar strategy of Browner plus a safety on Nelson and let Revis take out Cobb completely. I also expect to not really have a pass rush because they're going to focus on keeping Rodgers in the pocket so as to not let him scramble. His biggest plays come from when he throws on the run. I'd even venture out and say they're gonna be giving Rodgers a lot of 6 in the box fronts and let him check to a run play with Lacy. I'm perfectly fine with that.

Patriots vs Packers.

We'll see them again in the super bowl, but lets beat them at their home turf first.

Certainly could happen that way. I wouldn't count out the Cowboys though. That offensive line is the best one I've seen in quite some time and one thing I've learned is that trench play cannot ever be overlooked. They also have the weapons to get into a shootout. Arizona I am a little skeptical of because I just don't feel they can win it all with backup Drew Stanton (love ya Drew but I'm being realistic) and at some point he's gonna have to put the team on his back in the playoffs. which I don't think he can do. If the Packers get a first round bye then they're definitely the favorites from the NFC.

And it would be remiss of me if I didn't mention this:

ODELL BECKHAM JR. HOLY MOTHERF***ING MOTHER OF GOD BEST CATCH I'VE EVER SEEN
