Watched the whole thing. Wasted my time. It was way too overrated.

Watched the first episode as it aired last night. Aside from the amount of fan service, I actually liked it a lot. IDK why I like it, just seems exciting, got me psyched and kept me psyched.

I was pretty hooked from the first ep and enjoyed it till the end of the series. Had a lot of funny, random stuff. It wasn't perfect by any means but it was entertaining and made me anxious every week for a new episode.
Also has Ira Gamagoori and Mako Mankanshoku. Loved them. Loved a lot of the characters really.
Does the dub use 'Elite Four' or the 'Four Devas'?

Boobs and butts. Ryuko's in general. I've always called Kill la Kill the men's version of Free. It's a pretty good/decent little fun action anime. Just with a whole bunch of fan service.

I never look into the show before, I've just heard people talking about how amazing it is. So when it finally came to Toonami, I figured meh what the hell why not? At first I thought it was going to try to have some over simplified moral message about class, which didn't interst me and seemed kind of silly in a bad way. Then after she put the suit on... and I began to understand why it was so liked. lol
Some people say it gets really humours, maybe it does, but I'm not that interested in it really to be honest. lol I guess it could get so crazy that it's funny, I can see that as possible.

If you don't care for Ryuko's body then I would suggest 100,000 anime shows/manga over it. I literally just googled "satsuki" to find the image of her I put in spoilers below and the second most searched thing with "Satsuki" was "Satsuki A**"... So yes. The show draws a huge percent of its audience from the girls being 95% naked in it like 30% of the time.

It's gonna be really boring for the first four episodes.
But then after that it's gonna be so good. Especially when the other antagonist comes in and her theme song starts playing the background. And like every time it starts playing you know something creepy is about to go down.
But then after the series is over you're probably gonna be like "Eh. Overrated." I know I was...

I did the same thing and watched because of all of the good word of mouth. The first few episodes are a little slow compared to the rest of the series. I found that I actually became desensitized to the fan service pretty quickly because it was so over-the-top. I guess that summarizes KLK in a nutshell, over-the-top. If you want down to earth, this is not an anime for you. But, I did enjoy the fight sequences and found the overall storyline more compelling than I had originally anticipated. For me, it hovered somewhere between Ok and good. Worth taking a look, but not for everyone.

I watched the whole thing In about a week, during the time of the Naruto filler crap. Short and sweet. I don't really think of fanservice one way or the other; I was more tuned in with the pure badassery and mindkitteny that was happening in nearly each episode. Now I'm kind of wishing I would've saved this until after the Naruto manga ending. lol.

I saw the first 3 episodes, and couldn't stand the overly hyperactive style. I hear this was due to the early episodes not having storyboards, which would make sense, but I'm not really sure if I'll ever watch the rest of the series regardless.

I watched the entire anime in one day. The story does become more coherent and immersive somewhere between episodes 8 and 10. I was surprised at how well the various story threads tied together at the end with its' far out premise. Thinking back, probably the biggest reason that I enjoyed this show was the music. The score as well as the openings and endings were well chosen and matched perfectly to the feel of the anime. I loved the orchestral version of Until My Body Runs Dry played during Ryuko's transformations. May have to purchase the sound track if I can find it for a reasonable price. Hm, with the airing of the second episode I'm seeing that this anime has a lot of the same humor as Panty and Stocking. (Which, I watched all of P&S, but kinda regretted it afterwards. Although P&S wasn't nearly as fan servicey, just had a ton of crude jokes and gross-out humor. I actually don't have problems with pervy jokes as they appear in anime in general, but some things are just unnecessarily crude and over-the-top, KWIM?)
Still think this anime is badass and epic otherwise.
