One of the first episodes that I watched of Naruto was Hinata's fight against Neji, so I thought that she was pretty cool. You know, the whole, "I don't want to be a failure" thing, and hey, she tried her best, so she was okay in my book. After that I realized that she wasn't really going to come out much more, so my feelings toward her turned indifferent.
After that she just got kinda boring
Agree with the whole confident women thing. A heroine must be able to be butt-kicking now and then.

I feel the same way and I also really don't care for her. To me, she's a very uninteresting character. Her personality is very bland (and a shy person like myself but I tend to get comfortable), I find her very unappealing because I tend to like strong, confident women from the start (ex. Sakura, Temari, Ino, etc.).

I agree, when I started watching they were at 20-something. Time really does fly.
Has anybody watched the new OP & ED? I thought they were awesome. I really think there is a lot of symbolism in the opening, and Sakura was the first one to reach out to Naruto! So that was nice
.No NS in the ending tough. Nice to see Team Guy though.
