The most entertaining shounen anime I've ever watched.

Next chapter was supposed to release on May 2 but due to earthquake on Kumamoto where Kusanagi-sensei lives, the manga is on-hiatus. Next chapter's release date will be announced later on Hana to Yume mag and Twitter.

 

The most important is, Kusanagi-sensei is safe.

 

But I'm too hungry for Hak x Yona

Well, the manga is a biweekly series. So 1 chapter every second week, but since the translators haven't caught up yet, we are getting 2 chapters every second week (until they catch up)

I see, but the raw scans are released once a month.
 

So, what do you think of this series?

 

Since reading Okobore-hime to Entaku no Kishi, I love the idea of princess-servant/knight relationship. I was searching a manga that is similar to that manga and I found Akatsuki no Yona. The story between those two manga are similar to MCs being a princess and to servant/knight being loyal to their masters. It is also similar to Fushigi Yuugi when it comes to adventures and searching warriors.

 

I hated Yona at the beginning of the story. If she didn't have a character development, I would gonna hate her forever. Thankfully, she had a character development and I came to like her.

 

It was frustrating that Hak suppressed his feeling towards Yona. I understand why he did that but can't he confess at least once? As for Yona, her obliviousness is annoying sometimes. I don't like the idea of Soo Won x Yona since they're related by blood.

 

Favorite characters?

Hak in overall. Cool and ikemen.（*≧▽≦）

As for Dragon warriors, I can't choose between those four. They're equally adorkable.（*≧▽≦） 

 

Make an exception for that anime. For once Studio Pierrot, did a good job with the anime. Not the most mindblowing animation, but they sticked to the story 100%. Nothing was changed as far I remember of.

 

Yeah, I noticed that. It's good that they did it but sometimes it's tiring to watch the same story as the manga. That's the disadvantage of reading a manga version first before watching an anime version. Though the advantage of an anime version is that we could see them animated and we could hear their voices.

 

Before I was involved in the worst fandom in history, I've watched an SP animation called Tantei Gakuen Q. It was one of the good SP animation aside from this series.

Just started reading the other day and ended up to 112 chapters + extra chapters. One chapter per month eh? But the wait is killing me. >.< Kinda reminds me of Fushigi Yuugi but I like this one better. I find it funny that their names are Korean while the setting is like a Chinese era.

 

I've watched 3 episodes but I've found out too late that it's an SP animation. Maybe I'll spare them once just to watch the awesome series and to hear Maenu's voice.

Akagami no Shirayukihime manga was on my plan to read list for a long time. Watching the first episode makes me want to read. >.<
