I am shocked. This new show is actually really good, which I wasn't expecting at all considering how much I didn't really like the second Tron movie, Tron: Legacy. Felt it was way too dark compared to the original Tron. But this new series did a great job of pulling me into the story, making me want to see more, and the visuals and CGI work is top notch :3

Some info on the series~

In December 2010, it was announced that Elijah Wood, Bruce Boxleitner, Lance Henriksen, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Paul Reubens, Nate Corddry, and Fred Tatasciore would voice characters in a television series based on the Tron franchise, titled Tron: Uprising. The series features an animation style that mixes 2D animation and CGI animation. The look of the series was inspired by Star Wars: The Clone Wars, ThunderCats and Aeon Flux. Joseph Trapanese, who arranged Daft Punk's score for Tron: Legacy, scores Tron: Uprising.

I like Tron: Legacy. Probably one of my top favorites in the movies I have. One of the few I can watch without skipping scenes, too.

While I'm interested in Uprising, the characters' abnormally short torso region and super long legs kinda put me off.
But, chalk that up to them being computer generated digital beings.....

Don't know if this is common knowledge, but I'll post it here so all can see and know:

Bruce Boxleitner doesn't just voice Tron for this, he is Tron....ie, he is the same guy who played Tron in the original film and the sequal, Legacy (and apparently will continue to be in the franchise for the future sequals as well).

Lol, of course, most know him for his live action role on Babylon 5, but meh. I like my Bab5, but that's off topic for this thread, lol.

As for Tron Uprising, just watched the Part 1 of the actual series first airing earlier today. Don't want to give too many spoilers, but there seems to be a certain theme developing in regards to the main character in his journey.

I have been enjoying every episode I've seen as well. I got all of them downloaded. I like Emmanuelle Chriqui's character Paige as well. Hopefully, Disney won't switch up her character mid-season like they WB did with Cheetara.

From what I've seen of Paige, her character seems very borderline and in flux back and forth from if she's an antagonist or a protagonist. She seems, in some ways, like a tragic hero (like when/if she finds out Tesla's little secret about her past).
