It's been shown lots of times that Sakura cared for Naruto as a friend, don't you think it's pointless for Kishi to put another scene saying that Sakura cared for Naruto as a friend? To me it's pretty obvious that Yamato was gonna say that she cared for him more than a friend, and what makes me think that is not only what Yamato was saying but the fact that he was interrupted by Naruto before finish saying it

I wouldn't know about the translation myself, having not read the manga for a while, so thanks for posting that picture for one, and two, if you think about that scene, that is one hell of a NaruSaku moment. And on the subject of translations I think the second one Murdoc posted fits it more, better wording than the first one. And as for the "Your desire to help" thing, I don't even read the manga aften and that doesn't seem to fit the scene.

Desire to help? what's the phrase used, in Japanese? This is the first I've heard in countless translationsthat that's what he said.

It's another desperate tatic of either sasusaku shippers or naruhina shippers trying to pretend narusaku isn't going to happen. As others have said even if you can't read Japanese (and I can enough to do slow manga translations- ie about 30 minutes to do a page in a complex shoujo manga- like Fushigi Yuugi, about 10 minutes for a shonen manga) Sakura's expression is clearly one of a startled realization. She would not have had a startled reaction from him saying "your desire to help Naruto" She expressed that herself, way back in part 1. She did so even before the Chunin exams, if I'm recalling correctly, and absolutely she did so during the Chunin exams- several times.

Why are you here if you don't even like NaruSaku?
It's obvious that you don't read the manga because if you did you would see lots of hints of NaruSaku
NaruSaku is going to happen

If you don't even like Naruto why are you wasting your time here? Go to a Bleach forum or something so you can keep talking about your IchiRuki pairing, and so people can keep telling you that the dead girl is not gonna get the main character

He clearly uses the word "feelings". Really I don't know how TC got the "desire to help".

Saying that NaruSaku won't happen is like saying Ramen isn't a pervert.

Thinking 'outside the box.' Naruto, as a shounen manga, will end up being NaruSaku. Taking into account of how the characters are and all that, it'll just make sense.

If not, then I don't think that you know what will happen. Kishi himself said once that there will be romance in Naruto, and there was already romance in Naruto. Why should he include all that if there will be no "real romance" in the end?

I don't know for sure, but I would'nt say that there won't be any pairings, because we are not Kishimoto, and we don't know what will happen. So let's wait and see...

well he use to be a writer until he got another job
he told me as qoute "there is maybe going to be a little romance with two people that we never know was going to happen"

I've met several mangaka as well as their editors over the years and I know how those kind of convention meetings go. An editor would never say any spoilers about a manga storyline still in progress in their magazine.
