They followed the Hinata moments and added more meaning and importance to those scene in their minds. The rest of the story; they watched it.

 

The Cheating at the Exam. She was there to tempt Naruto with easy answers for an exam that focuses on his major weaknesses; he is book dumb and unsubtle. So, he could quickly realize that wouldn't work. Remember when he was about to look over he heard taping looked over to a Chunin who looked back at him with a knowing look saying, "I see you and you have already gotten your first strike." This helped lead to his speech of bringing on the final quest he will become Hokage even if fails the question and would never become chunin. It was also to introduce her so we would like her as set up for the Neji fight.   To them it was to show how selfless she was to everyone and to start the romance.

 

The medicine was just more build up to making us like her before the Neji fight.  To them it shows how much she loves him and wanted to take care of him.

 

The Neji vs Hinata fight was at its core to make us dislike Neji -since he was betting up on the nice girl we were introduced to- so we would root for Naruto when he fought him. There was more going on but meh I'm lazy right now.  To them it showed how awesome and incredible she is and how much she loves Naruto and how devoted she is to him.

 

The meeting before the fight was to add depth to Naruto by showing us a moment of doubt. Then getting a pick up and reminder by the girl he somewhat fight to avenge.Finishing off with Naruto considering her a friend, even if she is a little weird. To them, it showed how naturally they bond, how devote Hinata was to Naruto, and how deep down he must love her and he would realize it sooner if it wasn't for the whore's claws in him.

 

Naruto vs Neji fight to them was entirely about avenging hinata and how Naruto deep down wanted to kill Neji for hurting her perfection. When it was really about Naruto disagreeing with Neji's belief of fate and that it cannot change with his treatment Hinata was one of the aspects he disagrees with along with Lee as well.

 

Following this pattern hopefully you can guess the rest.

 

Well not like that matters in the end  :hm:

 

Ultimately Neji was correct. "Fate" does exist and Naruto beat Neji exactly because of that, and Neji also died like he was fated to as a member of the side branch of the Hyuuga  :lmao:

 

Naruto being the "Chosen One" of Asura or whatever else it was honestly terrible. One of the many terrible retcons Kishi did in late Naruto

SO, on the one hand the drama is retained, on the other I'd call Dante a joke now since he suffered an L compared to the other two Dark Triad. Just saying. cause the fact remains if he remains an obstacle to overcome from now on he's just going to lose again so what was the point of hyping him up? That's what I want to know.

Of all the Sakura ships SasuSaku was the most toxic and should not happen at all, which sadly it did.

 

SS still makes me sick in the stomach to this day. I'm glad that the Sarada gaiden made that relationship a complete joke.

 

 

 

I don't hate these pairings. But they resemble NH / SS only exist to satisfy their fanfiction, fantasy and romance desires.
I'm not saying romance is stupid and not great, but it's overrated. For this reason narusaku makes more sense to me, it is not a romantic relationship but it is more realistic and logical than the rest and is also classic like many other ships in the anime or games, but the idea is still better than exaggerated, fake and toxic relationships such as NH / SS just saying.

 

 

Which pairings you mean? Shikatema and Minakushi?  :confused:

Everything Obito did was for love, at the begin of the story Kishimoto puts a loves triangle, after that he shows us how Jiraiya didn't get Tsunade. The romance was what move all story.
About Kishimoto there are a lots of clues that that we can take Kishimoto saying till this point forward I don't have idea of what I'm doing and don't care anymore. He always said he doesn't knows how to write love, but dude you wrote a lot of couples in a very good way (Kushina and Minato, Shikamaru and Temarie for example). I really hate when the pro enders say we don't have to compare Boruto and Naruto, but man Boruto is the continuation of 4th most saled manga in Shonen Jump's history.

 

The similar thing about ShikaTema and MinaKushi is that they weren't pairings that had a large focus, they were more on the background. Kishi  (outside of his development for NS) had no vision to write romance whatsover so it's understandable why those two pairings turned out the best ones. :th_yeah:

It's not the same and it won't be the same, if reboot happens.

This series' main soul is the struggle of the underdog to achieve triumph. With all the odds that he has to face, we were promised an inspiring conclusion (backed with many foreshadowing events). Did we actually get that in the end? No.

Surpassing the older generation, ending the cycle of hatred, hard work can achieve more than talents/gifts... and many other themes get tossed out of the window in the end. All of these are just to make nH and SS canon so they can continue with Boruto series.

 

And if someone mentioned about recent interview where Kishi / his assistant said Boruto was *not* the initial plan. ha ha... let me tell you a dirty little secret in business industry folks: once something went south, it's all fingers pointing game.

 

If Boruto is a success, I can assure you that even Kishi will claim that it was his plan all along and he'll take whatever credits he can take. Likewise with the current author (Ikemoto or whatever).

 

I'm not sure whether the interview is genuine or not, but here's my take: the fact that they don't claim this to be the initial plan, it is giving a strong message that they don't want to own it. It's a hot mess, and they don't want their names on it.

 

Imagine you're an established author (Kishi) and suddenly your name is tagged with something that's not successful. You definitely want to stay away. Likewise, imagine if you're a fresh blood and about to start your big career journey as an author (Ikemoto), and you jolly knew down the road, the series you're working on is going downward spiral of failure, you'll react about the same as the interview mentioned above.

 

Nonetheless, don't base your judgement based on interview. If you live in Japan, you'll know enough whatever publicly said may not be 100% true to what happened behind the closed door. Google-up "honne tatemae", and you'll get what I meant.

 

The original Naruto series is built upon the spirit of hard work, never give up, surpassing the older generation and other similar themes. It's all about fighting off with your own feet. That's why it gets so popular. However, the ending betrayed every bits of that spirit. And you can't get the same success again. Ever.

 

Hinata or Sakura is timid, lame and weak in front of their significant other. That's not how you depicted the spirit of hard work with solid relationship.

 

Even if you reboot the series. It will not be the same. It will never be the same.

 

To share with you, one of my favorite quote by T. Roosevelt:

Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura or Hinata depicted by the ending, does not embody such spirit. And neither will any form of reboots in the future (if any).

I cant understand why some people are so upset by endings with families (unless theyre childish & salty over shipping) because its been happening forever. This is really nothing new. Also I saw these pairing a mile away, it was super obvious when Orhime kissed ichigo goodbye before she went to Aizen. I loved Ichigo x Orhime since bleach first came on adult swim. i like both parings just one a bit more though. This discussion is the only reason i came back here.


Have you been reading Bleach? The ending was rushed and completely nonsensical, the problem isn't because it ended with a happy family, because if done properly an ending like that can be really good (see FMA:B).

The problem is because the ending, plot wise, made absolutely no sense. Not only the last arc was absolutely underwhelming but we still lack important answers regarding the series, for example, how is the world surviving without a soul king? What happened to Urahara? And Yoruichi?

Also Orihime never kissed Ichigo goodbye before she went to Aizen, she came close but didn't do it

I dropped Bleach after the anime ended so I can't speak on this, but maybe we can say Bleach was worse plotwise and Naruto was worse with characters and relationships? Because that part was so awful and irredeemable I have no words. :/

 

That's exactly it. The pairings in Bleach weren't as bad as SS and NH and at least Ichigo and Rukia have their banter intact

 

Don't get me wrong though, Bleach was still horrible character and relationhip wise because Kubo just kept adding new characters and forgetting to focus on his main ones

You guys, this ending was absolutely horrible (not speaking pairing wise here but plot wise).

 

Bleach was canceled for a reason, it was due to it's horrible pacing and Kubo's lazy behavior. He had something good to work with until the SS arc and the quality was still there in the Arrancar arc but he just ended up screwing up everything later on, adding more and more characters, forgetting about old ones and adding nonsensical and stupid power ups

 

This ending was rushed as hell and it shows, dare I say, plot wise it is worse than Narutos ending. I presume many of you just came back to see the last chapter and therefor can't see how utterly bad this entire last arc was but still...

How is she a mary sue? Because of her rejection ability? That doesn't make her a mary sue since I'm sure any captain level shinigami could kill her. LMAO I didn't even know people thought that she's a mary sue.

 

She probably isn't one but that's how she was perceived by some of the fans, probably because Kubo pushed her a lot and over the course of the series made her revolve around her crush for Ichigo 

 

I have no problems with Orihime but with the screentime she got she could have developed better as character

 

Rukia's situation is quite similar, just inverted, she was already a solid character however the screentime she ended up getting in the last few arcs was criminally low

If i recall i remember seeing a screenshot post of kubo getting accused by fans because he was defending orihime in twitter  And it got so bad that he deleted his twitter account.

 

So yeah he is most likely spiting fans that hated orihime and the ship. 

 

He probably also feels that his fans betrayed him considering Bleach's downfall, but honestly he has no one else to blame except himself

 

Bleach turning into crap is his own fault

No. He does things his own way. That's pretty damn clear.

 

To be honest Kubo also did things his own way, if only to spite the fans, after all biggest pairing fanbase in Japan is Ichiruki, Orihime is hated by pretty much everyone except a select few

 

I guess this was Kubo' final "kitten you" to his fans after so many other disappointments
