:) Don't worry, it'll all turn out right! This chapter ends angsty, and tbh, I didn't want to put it out there so soon after the end of the manga, cause it bummed me out!! 

 

(But I feel better about the ending now, enough time has passed I guess, and I have written up most of the important scenes. So I knew where it was going.)

 

Anyway, yeah, it has to go this route for a little while — where they have to open the doors and look through to what might have been, then make a concious decision that they don't want that life before they close the doors and choose happiness. 

 

Setting it up this way helps me address what happens when things go back to normal, and the happy shiny unity of the battlefield wears off? The Hyuuga clan returns to being the most powerful clan? The village goes back to hating Sasuke? 

 

And conversely, I can make fun of some of the most ridiculous aspects of the ending. Like Sasuke apparently taking credit for the bench scene, things like that.

Read the chapter, I'm going to be honest and say that I was a bit scared because of the mentioning of angsty endings etc ^^.

 

It wasn't as bad as I feared ^^. 

 

Looking forward to the next chapter, and I really hope smthng like the afterglow doesn't happen IRL or if it does need to happen please let it not NOT affect me. 

I'd honestly be the most uncomfortable person alive (I might very well do an accident) otherwise.

Oh you're the one that's writing that? I'm really enjoying it so far and can't wait to see what happens next, because I'm positive you'll do a better job than Kishimoto did.

 

I'll be sure to leave you a review sooner or later, but just be on the look out for some of those rabid NH/SS fans. I've seen them leave really rude reviews and comments about peoples' stories, and quite frankly some were just plain disgusting.

Arigato, good sir! Have already written the 3rd and 4th chapters, but would like to polish those a bit before I upload 'em!

 

As for the NH/SS, I've slapped around a number of them on youtube. Will be sure to keep my eye out for 'em!

Awesome. Love this story, and I was pleasently surprised to see that it's going to continue going for a while more!

 

In other news... I wrote a "quick" story. "The Bet: Reading a self-help book inspires Naruto to make a bet with Sakura: that he can get her together with Sasuke in one week! Will he win the bet? (Note - NaruSaku pairing)"

 

It's broken up in 6 smaller than normal chapters, and the entire story is written. I'll just be posting the chapters as I get them edited (every 1-2 days or so).
