Well, the Mecha-Naruto story wasn't bad per say.

 

Story

It felt like CC2 was trying to make Mecha-Naruto more human than your average robot. I mean, the robot was basically flaunting all over Hinata because how kindhearted she is, but then starting picking fights on Naruto not only for the name, but also his reputation. Also the fact when they met the robot, he had amnesia. Though, I liked the fact that Naruto taught his robotic clone a very good lesson.

 

Well, what's the lesson? You can't just make everyone recognize you in one hot second. How this happened? Well, Mecha-Naruto became jealous of Naruto because he's well-known, while the clone felt from the people around him treating him as an outcast (Doesn't that reminded you guys of anything? Not to mention you're a robotic clone of Naruto walking around). Sick of the issue, Mecha-Naruto caught Naruto off guard after training by switching minds/bodies. But the plan backfired when Hinata noticed something off with "Fake Naruto" before their team's next match for the Ninja Tournament at Festival Island, while the real Naruto asked Sakura and Shikamaru to help him.

 

And the fights were interesting... until we found out that the grand prize, the Mental Stone, was apart of Mecha-Naruto. We found out that some professor created the robot with 2 different personalities using the image of Naruto (How, I don't even know). Regular Mecha-Naruto is considered the Normal Mode while the other half is known as Kyubi Mode, a psychotic and evil version that is a weapon of mass destruction. The result of that killed the professor, but Normal Mode managed to separated the Mental Stone which led to Mecha-Naruto's amnesia and stopping Kyubi Mode's havoc. Naruto, with Hinata's help stopped the almost Kyubi Mode, until Normal was trying to come back out. Ino used her Mind Transfer Jutsu to send Naruto and Hinata to Mecha-Naruto's mind (which is the Awakening Stage) to stop Kyubi Mode (Mecha-Naruto's Awakening). They succeeded until Kyubi Mode activated the Self-Destruct Device. Everyone excluded Naruto left the area but during the explosion, Naruto managed to save the Mental Stone which stored Mecha-Naruto's memories. The ending was that before the tournament, Hinata made 2 dolls for her team: Mecha-Naruto had the Naruto doll while Naruto had the Mecha-Naruto doll. Shikamaru gotten an idea after he and others found Naruto near the beach. Naruto inserted the Mental Stone in the Mecha-Naruto doll. Result of that means that Mecha-Naruto is now basically "the Kon (Bleach)" of the series, sans any movement.

Orochimaru and Kabuto, whom now suddenly have interest in Naruto, created Mecha-Naruto to attack Konoha.

I stumbled upon the NS article on the narutocouple wiki, and under video games it says that in UNS revolution there's a scene where Naruto compliments Sakura's forehead. Ladygt is amazing.

Its more of a gameplay reason you would get this, along with some of those additions, but hey for any story stuff, the main and mecha side stories are non canon so even for the NH stuff that is there, its funny how some NS stuff got in and yet its all non canon anyways, yet you can fit the kushina, akastuki, and shushi stories in to be canon despite their fillers.

 

One thing about most fillers in naruto, they actually fit into timespaces so they dont conflict.

 

I want to see the stuff like with the customization and the ninja tournament though, I mean its funny how jiraya can be running around and no one cares he is alive, same with madara and no one makes a fuss.
