I don't really understand why you think that I don't accept your shipping preferences. It is not like I have ever tried to force you at gunpoint to change your ship. What do you think that us SS and Nh shippers are supposed to do here on this forum other than debate with you? We have our own ships and some of us sometimes are interested in debating with NS shippers for variety of different reasons. There is nothing wrong with that. Mocking, bashing and laughing at others and perhaps also being too aggressive in your opinions, now those things are wrong. Both sides have been guilty of these things, you are right about that.

Also. What also is wrong is you questions motives of people posting here. I am a SS fan and yes, I post here, guilty as charged. I don't really have to explain my motives to you. (Tough I have explained in the past. Multiple times.) This kind of questining is part of what creates the hostile atmosphere of this forum. This is even called debate thread. Why bother having one at all if debate isn't really allowed?


I like SasuKarin but prefer SasuSaku. I basically think those too pairings are very similar and don't understand those claims that they are not. I would probably like SasuKarin but I don't want it to happen at the expense of SS.

Edit. I'm pretty much going to go now. I really am not interested in debating everything again. I just wanted to express my support for those of you that are starting to object to all the bashing etc. around here.

It is not crap. You may not intend to bully or be cruel but that is how it can come across when you have those five users all ganging up. You should probably take a moment to reflect on the fact that it is not just us SS fans or those NH fans saying that this forum's atmosphere is pretty horrible. It is your fellow NS shippers like Slextrem as well. It must be pretty brutal if people who are on your side start to call you on your behaviour. I'm using "you" as in general you, by the way, I don't mean just you specifically, Don-Kun.

It is not all matter of pairing preference. I mean, NS clearly has more chances of becoming canon than NejiTsunade. But yes, a lot of it comes down to preference and our own interpretions about the manga. Debate can be fun as long as people on every side of the debate don't take it too seriously and at least try a little to understand why the opposition believes what they believe. I admit, I can't do this all that well myself which is just one more reason why I don't want to debate anymore.

I'm kind of proud about that ban.

So it says on the rules but anyone can see that that rule is never enforced. Right now in the movie thread there are many users outright mocking and laughing at SS and NH fans. And that is just one example. Bashing of the characters (Sasuke, Hinata, Sakura) is something that happens all the time as well, in fact right on this page there is a user who is saying that Sakura should be killed for not loving Naruto. Totally, dude, totally. Now bashing fictional characters is usually pretty silly but hey, at least they are not real people with real feelings. Bashing Kishi is damn dumb but it is not like Kishi is reading this forum and sobbing into his morning cereals because of all Teh Mean. Bashing other fans, now that is something that should stop. My own honest impression of this forum is that it seems to be on some endless bashing trip, only the target changes. This bashing has basically been allowed to go on for too long and now it is pretty much impossible to control it anymore. The result: this.

I have made it perfectly clear how I feel about the most of the users here. Everybody knows that I don't like most of you (you all must be so upset at that) and I think that some of you are extremely arrogant and incapable of having a good debate. I think you, Slextrem, and users like AzureWaters, are starting to feel like that as well, though I don't want to put words into your mouths. I had very little desire to debate the Naruto pairings in the first place, which is why I have lurked so long, and after actually trying it, well, I would rather hit my head against the wall than try again. My head hurts less that way. I don't really agree with you and AzureWaters on your pairing opinions but seeing your attempts to tackle the endless bashing etc are appreciated by me. I'm so proud of you. (No, seriously. Thanks for at least trying.)
