OMG GUYS THE LAST MOVIE IS NOT SELLING WELL, THIS IS THE KARMA I WANTED. THIS JUST PROVES PEOPLE ARE NOT BUYING THE kitten KISHI'S TRYING TO SELL AND KNOW HE SOLD OUT.

 

THIS IS WHAT I WANTED AND I'M GETTING IT.

For kittens sake will people drop that s**t, Rowling admitted her quotes were taken out of context, and i'm getting tired of Harry/Hermione fans thinking that their pairing ever had a chance, JK Rowling NEVER WROTE THE FREAKING STORY TO EVER HINT AT HARRY/HERMIONE!!!!!!!
 
The difference between this and JKR'w work was JKR always wrote Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione from day one, If the novels ended with Harry/Hermione without changing the rest of the books then it would be sitting right next to the Naruto ending as the worst ending.
 
The biggest issue with the ending is the lack of development for the SS and N/H, that would have been exactly the same for H/H, they had no ROMANTIC development at all, everything between then was platonic. As far as I concerned H/Hr ending would essentially be exactly what Kishi did, changing the ending to satisfy the bigger fanbase for greed.

Oh no no Harry and hermione did have major romantic development. Many moments of caring between them and the quote was not taking out of context.

The fact you say Harry and Ginny had build up is absolutely hilarious . Ginny just like hinata was useless . Her only role in the novel was literally to have Harry's babies. That's it do not come in who this kitten that Harry and. Ginny was planned. Harry and Ginny can rout of nowhere in book 6 after Ginny was basically background and irrelevant prior to that book. All of a sudden Harry's got a beat in his chest when he sees ginny and dean kissing.

Gee what does that sound like? Oh yeah sounds like the beast naruto has when he sees hinata and Tamara. Naruhina is an exact copy of Harry Ginny all the way down to their incredibly poor development and the annoying stalkers that do Nothing the entire series get together with them in the end with no development .

Do not EVER say that Harry and Ginny was developed. Harry didn't even give her the time of day until book 6 where he miraculously started falling for her again what exactly does that sound like? Give you one guess, this story with the annoying stalker doing nothing gets the main character with no development at all.

Meanwhile he showed multiple times that he did care about hermione. Jk even said that it should have gone Harry and hermione but she had set up the other two from the beginning. She didn't let her characters evolve. She's said this and she regrets it.

I mean Harry is the one that went crazy when hermione got hurt in book 5 in the department of mysteries. Book 1-5 were building towards Harry and hermione especially book 5 with hints towards Ron and Luna as well when she gave him the necklace and he said she's growing on him. Ron and hermione continued to have development as well. Harry and Ginny had nothing , Ginny was background and even after book 6 where she had her forced ot she was once again shoved to the background till the epilogue that everybody in the Harry potter fandom hates and was widely rediculed.

And this is why they've dialed back the costume designs, toned down the hair and made the plot more silly and romantic and less action-oriented. Because they are appealing to a non-manga audience. 

 

Think about it: would the Naruto and Co. from the movie ever look like characters to base a manga off of? No. They're too normal looking in the movie. If someone were to submit a design for a new manga with vanilla characters like these, the editors would turn it down saying it was too forgettable.

 

And I think the new design segues into the modern-life next gen series. It will be less fantastical and imaginative, instead focusing on some kind of toned-down drama with an occasional villain who's just a crook. It will belike a diluted Naruto. 

 

But that's why they've watered down this entire thing — to make more it appealing to more people who aren't into mangas.

 

Part 3 is not written by Kishi, it's by his assistance and they even said they're short stories. This series will bomb. Naruto is not gonna survive, it's gonna die. Just like Dragonball GT did.

Loooks like I came in late oh well, I told you guys what was gonna go down back at 698. But simply put you guys puts your great expectations in the wrong place in the wrong character. Basically these pairings were cannon since day one, you just had to take off your anti sasuke bias glasses and hinata bashing goggles off.

 

Giving crap to Kishimoto for making this story 15 years ahead of time with direct statements of having a set course conclusion is why the pairings we have are here. Though I di agree SS seemed out there. And there was no prior NaruHina development before the Pain scene leading up to the War. But in the end, everyone achieved their satisfying dream and goals. Sasuke restored his clan with his own family and is free of hatred and revenge yet reborn with his brothers will to live on and care for his new family, Sakura saved by proxy of her perserverance Naruto and Sasuke, helped Naruto achieve his and hers goals of bringing back Sasuke from darkness and has married her destined man and desired one, Naruto became Hokage, saved the world, is acknowledged by every being in his verse, fulfilled his goal of saving Sasuke and has found love and a girl like her mom(theres no specific indication Hina chan had to be just like Kushina in fiery rage tsundere mode she might have meant her heart and unconditional love and care), and Hinata even though less developed than the other three progress beyong expectations, honored her cousins branch by learning his signature move, progressed her clans techniques and indicatively mastered them, has beaten her shy and conflicted demons, and last but not least fulfilled her biggest goal of being acknowledged and yearned for by Naruto which in the end has her happily marrying her deep loved one and has two kids all the while sharing her existence with her family and her fallen clans men. 

 

I say it was better than D graymans and Reborns endings.

 

Oh please this wasn't his planned ending from the beginning, don't even try that kitten. He's distancing himself from this, hence him not being apart of P3. If this was the plan he would not be doing all the stuff he's doing now. He was pressured by others and SP and even you know tht.

 

This ending was trash and it has nothing to do with pairings and you have absolutely no indication of whether everybody is happy or not from that very vague epilogue.

 

Hinata was useless throughout the entire series and still is till this day. Please she didn't learn kitten. Yeah she got her deep love but at the cost of that loves development and character assassination. Her feelings towards Naruto are IRRELEVANT in a series about Naruto. Naruto was in love with Sakura for 699 chapters and don't you dare try to say that "well the movie will give us the story". A MOVIE DOES NOT TELL YOUR STORY FOR YOU, PERIOD! MOVIES ARE FILLER TRASH USED TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK. THAT IS HOW MOVIES ARE VIEWED IN THE ANIME WORLD!

 

Sasuke is a dead beat douchebag and Sakura.. Sakura basically just lost all her development to get her love that did not give a kitten about her for 697 chapters and said as much before putting her in the genjutsu. But yeah sure that's love.

 

Also do not try to say that Hinata is like Kushina because no sir. Unless you can show me where Hinata has her inner bad ass self like Kushina and Sakura have and you have Naruto's father say that Hinata reminds him of Kushina then you can have a ground to stand on. So nice try troll you got your ending, congratulations.

 

Too bad everybody aside from your fandom, hated it and saw just how much garbage it was. The only way your pairings could work was from the character assassination of Naruto and Sakura.

Yeah I read some moron who said that they're glad Naruto got with Hinata because at least Hinata had feelings for him. I responded with well if this manga was called "Hinata" then I would agree her feelings are relevant, However since this series is called "Naruto" and Naruto never showed any moment at all where he cared for Hinata romantically, he was focused on Sakura for 699 chapters, I tend to think his feelings for Sakura are much more important then his feelings for a non-existent entity that true may have feelings for him but those feelings are irrelevant in the scope of Naruto's story.

 

Of course that was before this asspull of a movie. The fact that people are saying oh don't worry the movie will clear up the manga. I pretty much called them out and say do you not see anything wrong with that.

 

A MOVIE SHOULD NOT BE WHAT TELLS YOUR STORY FOR YOU! A MOVIE IS FILLER IN AN ANIME SERIES, IT HAS NO RELEVANCE TO THE MANGA! THE FACT THAT YOU THINK IT'S OKAY FOR KISHI TO SAVE STUFF FOR THE MOVIE IS SO SCREWED UP! PEOPLE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WATCH A MOVIE TO UNDERSTAND A MANGA, PERIOD! IT JUST REEKS OF GREED AND TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK WHICH IS WHY NOBODY SHOULD SUPPORT IT.

 

Then they said something along the lines of well Kishi is doing the movie because the manga would have gone off for 50 more chapters to show the development.

 

I basically ended the argument there by saying thank you for stating exactly what I was thinking. That Kishi was forced into doing this ending. Why because he had 700 chapters to develop a relationship between Hinata and Naruto or at the very least show Naruto is interested in her. He did no such thing whatsoever so thank you for confirming that it was indeed a huge asspull.

 

Suffice to say I won the argument. Oh but of course they got the canon yeah at the tarnishment and character assassination of all the characters.

Kishi doesnt care what we think. We are a small group of people who hated the ending. 

 

We Sakura fans/Narusaku fans. Small group. Pretty much all my friends loved the ending always say Naruto and Hinata together. 

 

We were blind to the whole thing the whole time. Sakura was never going to change, her bond with Naruto was simply friendship. 

 

Small group? People that don't give a squat about ships hated the ending.  The non-shippers are the biggest group in this fandom. Shippers are a minority.

Her character was built like that in the first place. "All for Naruto <3"

 

Ugh a Ginny Weasley clone if I've ever seen one. I despise Ginny Weasley, and what do you know I despise Hinata as well.

Just thinking about it NH/SS fans aside, what's the reason for any other Naruto fan in Japan to go see the movie after reading 2 chapters like that? Are they hoping that the ending will grow on them by the time the movie is released? Is the reason why they have an early screening because it's a screening test to gauge the audience in which they have an AE prepared? I'm just shooting grasping at straws here

 

The fact that they did not leave it open ended means that they've guaranteed a potential decrease in revenue mainly because the fans that don't like those couples will not go see the movie. Why should a NS fan go and see this movie? To watch Naruto fall in love with Hinata after some stupid forced plot? Yeah no.

 

This has all the makings to bite them in the ass especially because NS is the most marketed pairing in Japan and their most popular couple and it was all for nothing. So those fans that were rooting for NS will not go and see this movie.

 

NH/SS fans around the world will see it but big woop they don't give Kishi money. They're gonna watch it online via bootleg, how is that giving Kishi anything?

 

Plus NH fans are mostly still tweens so they need to ask mommy and daddy to get them stuff. Stupid move on Kishi's part and it will bite him in the ass.

 

With all the many people ticked about the ending, the movie I predict can definitely become a flop.

 

 

I will freely admit the ending to the manga was really lackluster which is why I'm not gonna buy Volume 72 (Final one).  As far as The Last Naruto The Movie goes, I'm gonna watch it just to see how Kishi's gonna attempt to make NaruHina and SasuSaku viable accepting (Which I highly doubt is gonna have the same caliber as these final two chapters)

 

The Part 3 mini series from what i've heard will be done by the person that wrote Blood Prison, not sure if that enough is true. if that's the case then that might a little interesting, but if that's the case I'll view the first chapter and see where it goes from there.

 

You can watch it, that's fine just don't go out somewhere and pay money to see it. Watch a bootleg version of it.

I'll wait for the movie to explain things.

Anyways about the chapter.....I found it quite hilarious.

Sasuke got everything in the end due to his Uchiha bloodline and just because he was friends with Naruto. He's got power, acknowledgement, a family he doesn't deserve, and his best friend's love interest (The reason why Sakura became one of the strongest kunoichi with that never giving up attitude was because she got influenced by Naruto. But in the end, Sakura became all cool, powerful and beautiful just to be taken away by Sasuke and be a housewife).

And look at Naruto......he doesn't look happy. I see no single panel of him with that sunshine smile. Does he look like he's proudly looking over Konoha? I would expect him to be shown like Hiruzen, looking at the village proudly with a smile. To make matters worse, his kid feels neglected by him and goes his way to try to trouble him. Not to mention, he ended up with someone who he clearly wasn't interested(who didn't even have a single page in Naruto's part of the databook). A pairing fodder who has no decent ninja abilities, goals, or priorities. All he really gained was the hat. His best friend isn't there, the love of his life isn't there, he doesn't have an understanding family, and his so called friends other than Shikamaru aren't there to support him (when they should appear smiling at him in the end!) All these years of hard work, and this is what he gets?

So I read chapter 700 and laughed. Naruto was OOC as kitten lol. He hit his kid who wanted to gain his attention due to being neglected. Why the hell would Naruto neglect his kid when he suffered the same thing in his childhood? And all the comfort he could give his kid is that, "He's a Hokage and he's busy" and blah blah blah. Um no, Minato would have NEVER treated Naruto that way were he alive.
His parenting skills have failed.

And it's laughable because all the new gen kunoichi became a housewife sans Kurotsuchi. Oh and is Karin dead?

Do you really think this is the ending? Have you ever seen any story where the main character has been treated horribly this much by the author? Is this ending really possible for the guy who had worked hard for fifteen years?

Hence, I'll wait for the movie.

 

That's your choice but just watch it online, don't actually go somewhere to pay to see this. This man does not deserve anymore or our money or time.

 

The manga is where it counts, a movie should not be where you develop things. It just proves how sloppy of a write Kishi truly is.

I think you might have meant BoltxSalad   Bolt and Himawari are siblings.

There ship name could be sold as in a consistent reminder that kishi sold out. Aww!
