Hopefully this isn't considered as 'bashing' but I need something to laugh at so I can feel smart again after getting a C on my math test last week.

 

I've come across some good ones on Youtube, but none of them would be...Appropriate to put on here lol. It's funny how almost every single one of them falls back on 615 and say NH will be cannon because of the hand holding thing, yet ignore 631 and claim Sakura thought of Sasuke in 632. *rolls eyes* It's almost like arguing with...I can't even name something to compare to their level of denial.

Well there is an argument saying that Naruto was willing to give his soul to the Kyuubi because of what Pain did to Hinata, breaking the vow he made after he hurt Sakura when going 4-tails. (the one that he would never use the Kyuubi power again) Remember that he almost ripped the paper off, before Minato stopped him. That must mean he loves Hinata more than Sakura.

 

I actually find many SS arguments better. I'll see if I can find something, but now I have to do homework..watching Shakespeare.

Uhh, this isn't going to seem very productive, so I'll refrain for now. Until I see that this can be handled maturely, which by the way, laughing off NH arguments start bashing in the first place. However NH arguments have only been flimsy because people don't think them through, due to either some vendetta against Sakura or think Hinata is SO MUCH better for Naruto because she is one of the few who did not give Naruto a hard time in his childhood. But granted most fans watch the anime so it is pretty easy to hate on Sakura if you've only watched the anime simply because of the "violence for comedy" used against Naruto, and granted half of the anime slapstick was not even justified.

I don't. You implied that arguments for NaruHina are both laughable and stupid by saying that you needed a laugh to make you feel smart again. Not only does your statement mock the pairing, but it also bashes the people of that fandom that come up with and use those arguments. If that wasn't the intention, then I don't know what other kind of point you were trying to make.

 

I'm happy to see that other members still want to be civil in this thread, but I think it's a bad idea all around. The original post opens this thread to bashing right off the bat, and even if some of us try our hardest to behave, all it takes is one ignorant post to ruin the effort. Besides, we already have a thread for discussing/debating points about the couples. It's called the Debate Thread, and it comes with rules of conduct which I don't believe are going to be followed here.

I'd be careful if I were you, bro. I was banned for posting a few things like this and the Kage saw it as me 'bashing' the NaruHina fans. If I've read correctly, you're a former NH fan yourself, so wouldn't you know what they say?

 

But you're newish here, so they might 'pardon' you for now. Just be a little more careful from now on. I think this thread should probably be closed before we get a mob of NH fans coming in here defending themselves.

If you want good NH arguments, look for skileld debaters instead of the arguments themselves. You're likely to find tons of them stuffed in their essays.

Not 'scared' but the last thing we need is a flame war. I gotto choose my words more carefully from now on.

 

I don't 'fear' NH fans, though I'd like to whack a few upside the head sometimes. Ever since one of them bashed a good friend of mine who was in an accident I've lost respect for their fandom.

Anyone can bash. Both NH and NS fans have been banned from the site, and that's exactly what will happen if a new troll comes here.

Great responses, everyone. And I completely agree — members could be perfectly civil and respectful of NH, but a few heated comments or trolls and the whole thread would spiral out of control.

 

Off-site arguments/links/discussions are generally frowned on at H&E, because there is no way to have fair discussion. But if you want to talk relationships and offer your own opinion, as Slex said, the Debate Thread is a great place to start.
