I remember when first news about naruto gaiden comes, some NS fans said the tittle is Naruto the Seventh Hokage and The Scarlet Moon.

Oh ... that scarlet moon part ... i thought maybe theres little spark of hope after all.

Turns out to be soap opera with 'Whost MY MOMMY' drama as its theme.

So the scarlet moon part literally means nothing, just empty word ... well not entirely empty, its mean give false hope to anti ending fans.

月in japanese can mean either "moon" or "month", in this case it means the month for flowers (spring) that's why naruto wiki name the spin off as "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring“

lol now i bet he's thinking "what have i gotten myself into!?" well kishi! you kicked out your old supportive narusaku fandom who truley loved the characters', and story, and won over the naruhina, and sasusaku m-rated "sexual fantasy galore otaku" who don't care about the characters, the story, you, themselves, or anyone in the WORLD! just "that one thing" what do you think of your "perfect audience" now? Well the results are in for the comic rankings in Japan: 

 

 

Attack on Titan Volume 17 is first which is great  

 

and Gaiden is now 4th place which is a good sign at the moment

 

 

The numbers are slowly dwindling down for the series.
