Okay, 3 things
1) I'm not twisting your words, you are twisting mine. I am saying Ash giving Serena his handkerchief (should it happen) is NOT romantic in the Japanese tradition of a girl giving a boy a handkerchief. It is BECAUSE they first met in a summer camp when they were younger, Serena scraped her knee and Ash wrapped a blue handkerchief around it. So that Handkerchief symbolizes their first meeting. I repeat, I am NOT saying Ash is giving a random Handkerchief to Serena and it is supposed to be taken as romantic, he is giving the same handkerchief the he tied to Serena's knee a that camp and she returned to him because that is how they first met. And no, I am not making that up. Watch episode 7 of XY if you're not convinced
2) You're acting like you're not a pokeshipper, but see Ash and Misty as the most likely pairing. However your behaviour says otherwise. You're saying Ash and Misty is the only pairing to conceivably happen but are dismissing all others pairings and acting like casually talking about Ash X Serena, Ash X May, etc is attacking Ash X Misty and we are saying that those moments are more romantic than Ash X Misty. You are not forbidding us from talking about other Ash ships? Well you are acting like we're not welcome talk about other ships that are Not Ash X Misty, plus you are saying we need to talk about Pokemon shipping in a debate thread when there is no debate. We are not saying which pairing MUST happen, we are simply stating that we like a pairing and hope something comes out of it., plus may I say you said you prefer Ash X Misty, plus are dismissing all the other girls he's paired up with as "not gonna happen" in the first place. is that NOT Debating? Plus, that also brings up my last point.
3) You think it's only you that see the so called romantic moments between Ash and Misty? You think that I don't remember Ash seeing Misty in a yukata and blushing, or the blimp scene where Team Rocket was teasing them as "love birds", or How emotional they were when they said goodbye? I Remember ALL of those moments because I DO Ship Ash and Misty. Why am I not talking about Ash X Misty then? Well is Misty on screen in the Anime right now? I am simply talking about amourshipping because Serena is the only female companion around Ash's age right now and as you already know she does have feelings for Ash. I just simply like all Ships Ashis mpaired up in because They all have some form of validity towrads them and I accept them because I don't imagine the studio making an official couple anyway. I love Pokeshipping, but I see no reason to JUST dwell on Pokeshipping because there are other ships I love and Pokeshiping about more or less 14 years old right now, plus We haven't seen Misty since her temporary appearances in the Advanced episodes
In short If you love Pokehipping, that's good. But I see no reason to act anyone that Doesn't say Ash and Misty is the only potential pairing is doing something wrong because that is not being neutral. And no I'm not twisting your words, you are acting like we don't have a right to say what other pairings we like and showing appreciation for those pairings, plus saying we only do that in a debate thread when We're not even saying which pair is better. If you say I'm making this up and putting words in your mouth, I'm quoting what you are saying, "quit talking shipping here, make a pokemon shipping thread so I don't have to hear any more ashxserena mess..."

2, the only time we've actually seen ash actually possibly return feelings was with misty,
3.again you are twisting it around like I'm a shipper which is the reason I am getting sick of this shipping talk on this thread, because you won't stop judging non shippers as pairing fans for not agreeing with ashxserena,
4. this has nothing to do with defending ashxmisty, I'm not defending any pairings, I am just not a self entitled shipping moron who feels to need to act like stuff that is in the beginning of the anime isn't there and make excuses about it being dub changes just to support pairing crap.
judge me one more time and keep going on and on about ashxserena, I'll put you all on ignore and talk to the mods, because I am getting sick of you guys acting like this ship is so important that there can't be non shippers who don't see the big deal to the point you want to bash them and call them pairing fans, THIS is as bad as the nhtards on youtube who act like anyone who says naruto and sakura in the same sentence is a pairing fan, I try to give proof that you are wrong about some dub changes and that the shipping stuff was in fact there, you guys twist it around to where I must be a pairing fan. who are the ones who keep overrunning this thread with shipping arguments? that's right, you guys, you won't stop bringing it up and act like its this big thing, if it was don't you think we'd see ash jealous, ash liking seeing her in a dress, or at least something to make it top the ashxmisty stuff from the japanese version? my point has not been to defend ashxmisty, my point has been that there's been nothing on ash's side of the ship to make it possibly happen or seem this big of a deal, which is why I never got into the ship, I have stated several times how onesided this ship is and pointed this out but you always twist this back into a shipping debate and frankly I am getting sick of it.
also learn to read, I knew that ash gave her the hankerchief and bandaged her ankle as a child, I even posted this earlier which proves you haven't been reading my posts, my point was that isn't the same kind of scene and isn't supposed to be romantic, it wasn't a girl giving a guy a hankerchief out of romanitc feelings, and it wouldn't do it for serena giving it back or even ash giving it back because
1. its ash's hankerchief,
2. the hankerchief thing only applies to a girl giving it to a guy in japan.
so I didn't get why you guys are making a big deal about that possibly happening because it wouldn't be romantic whatsoever, it would be just friendship based, like everything of this entire ship has been, especially on ash's end, which you guys keep blowing out of proportion
if you know the ashxmisty stuff is there in the anime, explain to me why you are attacking me right now saying I am judging you acting like you don't know the scenes are there, i was talking about sora and other users, not you, go back and read the posts instead of not reading all my comments and judging me hmm?
I don't love or hate pokeshipping, but I acknowledge it is there, unlike other users here apparently who will do anything to destroy its credibility in the anime just to support their new ship......
also yeah because I'm totally supposed to somehow know you like all the ships and support ashxmisty, if you did explain why you never commented when sora tried to say it was all only in the dub hmm? I was the only one that replied and I'm not even a fan of the pairing.
my point is not that ashxmisty is the only potiential pairing, my point is it is the only potiential pairing that is not onesided and has the most to back it up whereas all the others can be argued as just acts of friendship, even if serena has a crush on ash, have we seen ash even remotely do anything to show he feels the same? no, he hasn't. which is why it pissed me off how people like sora acted like we "watched selectively" for not seeing the big deal of the ship just because of serena's crush.
also, I don't have a problem with you liking that shipping or think you're wrong for liking it, I have a problem with you guys disrespecting non shippers here who don't see the big deal of the ship saying they "watched selectively", my point is if you can't just talk about the shipping and drop it and be respectful, then you need to go to a shipping thread, this is not the place for shipping debates, there is a reason why there is the narusaku debate thread and the naruto general discussion thread and why the general discussion thread isn't overun by shipping talks, so stuff like this doesn't happen.
