#706540 The Last theory: Collection of Info & co.

Posted by shisui on 15 December 2014 - 10:17 PM

Sakura is the manga's heroine. She was the one present for the final arc and the one that helped bring Naruto and Sasuke home. From the way he speaks, Kishi considered switching due to popularity but didn't because he likes Sakura more.

Hinata has done nothing worth praising. If she's a heroine, it's in the anime. What Kishi has been saying lately about Hinata / NaruHina, it looks like he doesn't care if Hinata / NaruHina burn. Nothing he has said lately is good for Hinata / NaruHina. I hope the trend continues.

The best part is to watch the Hinata / NaruHina fandom scramble. There is no defending this, yet they insist. I've seen them compare Neji's death with Itachi and Jiraiya too. What the hell.

#702778 Has your opinion of Karin and SK changed?

I've always disliked Karin and SasuKarin. She is a joke character and their relationship is non existant. Nothing has changed and I see no reason for it to change.

#688099 Who's the heroine? Sakura or Hinata?

Posted by shisui on 05 December 2014 - 10:34 PM

She's not a heroine. She's not a character that drives the plot or is a key factor in the Mangas story.

If Sakura wasn't there in 699, Naruto and Sasuke would have died from bloodloss, for example. What has Hinata driven? Naruto's kitten off screen sure, but other than that?

New kishi interview

http://eiga.com/movie/79681/interview/

Trans:

Naruto ending up with Hinata was decided in the very early stages of the story.
Naruto being close to Sakura was a deliberate mislead, thats why the scenes of Sakura being compared to Kushina were introduced.
The Last Movie is not only the story of Naruto falling in love with Hinata, but it is the story of Sakura & Naruto parting ways.
He felt the story of Naruto falling in love with Hinata has to be propely explained, or it wouldnt be fair to the readers. Thats why the Last Movie exists.

^is this really what Kishi said?? If so I'll throw up. He just wanted to keep us interested..
If nh was decided sooo early then why was there barely any interactions?!

The Kushina and Sakura parallel did exist and NaruSaku fans weren't imagining it. Poor NaruHina fans who always said it didn't exist.

Naruto did love Sakura during the series, he loved her for 699 chapters. Even if those feelings were retconned as shallow, Hinata isn't Naruto's first love like the movie tries to sell. Poor NaruHina fans who said otherwise.

NaruHina had no resolution in the manga, needed a movie to explain it, where Kishi himself says he falls in love in. It's confirmation that all that development in the manga was platonic from Naruto's side. Poor NaruHina fans who said he was already in love with her during the series.

It's bittersweet. NaruSaku doesn't look well, but neither does NaruHina.

#686792 NH/SS fans reaction to the ending.

Posted by shisui on 05 December 2014 - 12:22 PM

Summary:

699 & 700: NaruHina fans were upset that there were no moments and no resolution for them. SasuSaku were 100% happpy about the moments and the resolution they got.

Movie: NaruHina fans, due to being upset about the manga's ending, latch onto it as if its their unborn child. SasuSaku fans are upset because there is no Sasuke, SasuSaku or team 7 (can't blame them).

There's nothing stopping Kishi from having a secondary character as favorite. I believe he said Anko and B were favorites in interviews. However, when asked who to put Naruto with, he didn't say anything about Hinata's worth, he talked about Sakura instead. If Hinata was his favorite, he would have said something nice about her. So I'm not convinced Hinata is his favorite female. I won't say it's Sakura either, but it's certainly not Hinata.

I'm neutral towards Hinata. The way the anime team is pushing her though, won't do it for me, and will have the contrary outcome. I never liked to be told what to like. I can reach that conclusion on my own. Her tities and being passive may not be enough and I might come to resent Hinata if this continues.

There's nothing to Hinata than her feelings for Naruto either. From spoiler providers, the movie plot isn't signficant and what is there is poorly executed, it's there as background for Naruto and Hinata interaction. It was not necessary to have a full movie with Hinata or NaruHina. It should have been a balanced script. Hinata and NaruHina are now the icons of shafting Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi and Team 7. Even the other leaf teens deserved screentime, but only Hinata gets to have anything. Hinata's been revealed to be the main character's love interest and that is important of course, but that shouldn't take the priority nor should it be all that we see.

Hinata's still as Naruto-centric as ever according to the movie. It amuses me that Junko called it out on her interview, one track mind and self-centered. To be fair, making Hinata more than pairing fodder feels fake as well since she has never been anything more than that. This new episode that is Hyuga centric... The beloved elder sister? Isn't she a black sheep according to this movie? Wasn't she shafted for Hanabi when they were young? SP can't make it consistent. I still remember when Tsunade's fight with Pain was cut by the editors, but now a full movie has been dedicated to Hinata and romance, fillers are being dedicated to Hinata and the relationship with her sister (that never existed before). As if anyone who watched this series was interested in Hinata or Hanabi more than anything else.

I don't think the movie will flop. It was marketed as something more than Hinata and NaruHina, so people will go nevertheless because they haven't seen the spoilers. Even if they don't like the movie, japanese fans are way more mellow about things than westerners, I'll be very surprised if there are major complaints. However, I'm seeing a few pissed off already. I didn't expect that.

I've met only two Karin fans who were normal, every other was as crazy as she is. So I'm not surprised a regular Karin fan would do something like this.

But again... why?

To convey that the situation was drastic. Then, to convey that they are the same but different. Naruto "Ashura" Uzumaki is surrounded by friends (Sakura and Gaara) while Sasuke "Indra" Uchiha is surrounded by tools (Taka and Kabuto). Sasuke even left them behind because they're useless to him, just like he did in the Kage Summit.

I never saw the hype of this. Kishi has done tons of this before and they didn't matter.

"He loved her since he was a genin" MEESSSSSSSSSSSS HAHAHAHAHHAHA Kishi PLEASE kitten off

Why do you mock this? Sasuke's a genin in 699.

My thoughts exactly, I'm half expecting to find the movie contains loads of bad grammer, use of internet/txt/msg shorthand, filled with selfies, and Naruto and Sasuke to be in a boyband.

15 years man, 15 freaking years (well 7 or 8 for me.) some fans have been following this story, every week buying the manga, seeing the charactors become part of their life and this is the thank you Kishi gives them, All three of the main charactors destroyed, made to look like immature idiots, why? Because Nana Mizuki is so popular that her face will sell loads of tickets?

Reading this spoilers, I finally got around to deleting every single episode I had on my HDD, I never thought Kishi's final work would be so bad that Bleach the manga considered as the ultimate troll manga b many would look a million times better.

For the Mangaka to tell us we read the manga wrong, is unforgivable, you can only analyse the data put infront of you, you can't expect us to believe SasuSaku and NaruHina works when you fail to show compelling content to prove your theory. If you write a report you don't argue your point by just pointing out the flaws in the counter arguments, you have to prove your arguments are valid and back it up by actual facts. If you handed in an essay on why Pepsi is the best drink in the world by filling your reports on the bad points of Coca-Cola, you'll get get an F.

The anime team wanted to do a romance movie, not Kishi. All Naruto movies have romance in them. It finally was Hinata's time.

Those NaruHina spoilers look like they were taken out of a fanfic written by a twelve year old. Hinata acts spiteful and Naruto acts childish, the overall plot is something else too. Hyugas are important after all, ta-da!

This is the last movie, but team 7 is not seen. Kishi spent all these years writing them, spent more than half that time writing Sasuke to go back to them, but in the end not a single scene together. Maybe they dodged a bullet though. I cannot imagine a scene between them that would benefit from how this movie was directed.

They could have said Naruto simply matured and moved on, since its true he never listed Sakura as one of his goals. Retconing his feelings like this, where they are weak and just because of a rivalry, is a huge slap in the face of NS fans. It was unnecessary, people don't always end with their first love.

#665634 Who's the heroine? Sakura or Hinata?

Posted by shisui on 19 November 2014 - 08:38 PM

Sakura.

Kishimoto said it in his most recent interview as well. Sasuke is the rival, Sakura is the heroine.

Somebody who dares to watch this movie, please count how many times she will scream "Naruto-Kun".

I'm calling it now: She will say "Naruto-Kun" 87 times in the movie!

We could make a poll out of this...

How many times will Hinata say Naruto-kun in the movie?

1-10

10-20

20-30

And so forth.

How am I going to ship this when I hate half of their parents?

#627768 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by shisui on 03 November 2014 - 11:40 AM

Why do you care about the movie? NaruHina fans are hyping this up, but they don't understand anything or the consequences of supporting the movie.

Hinata was rejected by Naruto when they were kids and this makes her cry. It traumatizes her enough that she isn't able to give him a scarf 10 years later. NH fans have been saying for years that Naruto makes Hinata strong, that she got braver after the confession, that she would have died for him. However, in the movie, Hinata cannot give him a present. This is pathetic and weak of her, and she's like this because of Naruto.

Friends give presents to each other, but Hinata can't do even that. This means they're not in a relationship. It also means that Naruto isn't in love with her, even after everything that happened between them in the manga. Sacrificing her life for Naruto and confessing her love? Mattered not. Supporting him against Obito and giving him courage? Mattered not either. She's still just his friend. Remember all those arguments that he was considering her love confession and that's why he didn't answer her confession? He wasn't. Nobody takes two years considering if they should date someone.

It also implies everything that happened between them was platonic from Naruto's side. Going Kyubi on Pain? Platonic. Handhold? Platonic. Yet NH fans said otherwise. That Hinata confession made Naruto love her. That Naruto saying that he saw her feelings in her eyes, was a hint that Naruto loved her. That the handhold was yet another hint that he loved her. That him reacting to her thinking of him before entering IT was the final hint that he loved her. But none of that is true if we are to believe the movie's advertisement. Their development (if we call it that) might have made them close, but it wasn't romantic, like we've always said.

Even if NH is made canon in the movie (doubt it), it means they got everything wrong but who ended up with who. All the development (if we call it that) and all those arguments NH fans babbled for years were irrelevant. Naruto didn't fall for her because of anything that happened in the manga, and that's hillarious. NH fans always said that their development and relationship and moments made their ship canon. It's not true. Nothing that happened in the manga mattered outside of making them close. It took two years (so not connected with the manga's plot) and a filler movie for that to happen (and I'm saying this if it happens, which I doubt).

I'm a Sakura fan above everything. I'll be happy with whoever she ends up with, as long as she's happy. As an ANH fan, this movie pleases me and I don't get why NH fans are happy about it, since it proves ANH right about everything we've always said and NH fans wrong about everything they've always said, with the exception of who ends up with who. All they'll be able to brag about is that they end up together. They will celebrate that and kitten, but to themselves? Bitterness. All their nonsense arguments supported by the manga are irrelevant and wrong. All their LAPs and essays? Wrong.

Unless they're really just that stupid.
