The anime seems like it's gonna have the same ending as the manga  
But I can't really say if you should watch it now or later

 

 

I'll binge-read the manga before it's finished >.<

Either way, when I just liked Airi's character and this happen... But hopefully it'll change.

One gripe I have with the story is that his time ability remains unexplained up till now. Steins;Gates at least tried to explain it (though failed at it in my opinion). You can't just throw in an ability and pretend like there's nothing special about it.

 

Airi's cute :3 A bit too idealistic for me, but yeah, her intentions are meant well.

They haven't explained why he has Revivals in the manga? I thought it would be explained as the anime continued, but it hasn't been explained yet. 
I didn't really like the first few episodes of S;G >.< But I heard it got better, so I'll watch it again, sometime.

Steins;Gates gets better at around episode 9, and takes a complete turn after episode 12... You know, when this whole time travelling begins to take its consequences. It becomes soooooooo good afterwards. But yeah, first few episodes were indeed a drag, I'm not gonna deny that.

I've heard so much good things about Steins;Gate, so I was a little disappointed about the first few episodes. But I won't drop it until I completed it though.

 

It would be weird if the author doesn't explain it. I don't know if she/he can use 2 chapters on making it end and explain why Satoru has Revivals.. But since it's a mystery manga, it might not be explained.

I thought Satoru would get Revivals again, after seeing Airi.. So, he got revival after seeing the culprit (I guess). Well, next episode is gonna be interesting.

 

 

Also, I thought Hiromi was a girl first..

Well, next episode is gonna be the last one... Overall I really enjoyed reading/watching this anime (pretty much my favorite of this season, close to Ajin)

 

I dunno what to think about Kayo and her child, lol. I'm glad Satoru is saved >.<

9.5/10 my final score and yeah the teacher was the obvious choice. It was a great series and it reminded me a lot of life is strange(for those who played the game) kind of. I'm a bit salty he didn't end with kayo but I understand, he was a grown man in a childs body lol.I feel bad for him too, he missed out 15yrs of his life :(.

Not to say I didn't enjoy this, but I'm definitely annoyed that Satoru's ability is never given any kind of explanation. It's just there as a plot device and it feels kind of lazy. Other than that, I don't have any complaints.

I binged watch this thing while i stayed away from any form of spoiler and comments/opinion that can affect my judgment over this.

And i'm glad i did.

This anime was so predictable (the culprit) it hurts but it definitely gave me the chills. I really enjoyed watching it for a split of 2days. I immediately came here to see to read on your comments and opinions.. i only got to the last 2 pages of the thread tho.

One comment i frequently saw here and in other places is people getting sad over future Saya. Am i the only one who rooted for Airi more than Saya? Well 'rooted' or 'shipping' is not really the best way of putting it, more like a gut feel on my part as i did not think of romance while watching this.

I just thought that yes, its kind of sad that Saya got a child but not because the MC is in love with her but what makes it sad is that her having a family clearly gave us and the MC the impression that he did missed out on a lot of things in his life. But looking at it now, he get to have a more fulfilled life now and it makes me happy.

Agree. You can't just bring it in and not explain it. At least Steins;Gate was trying to explain Okabe's ability. Another complaint I have is the teacher's motive to become evil... That was just a god awful explanation with the hamster.

Manga Spoiler: Basically, someone happened to pass by and notice the car in the lake. She rescued an unconscious Satoru and performed CPR on him. The cold temperature of the lake water saved him in a way (don't ask me how).

Thanks for clearing that up. It's fine I probably won't ever read the manga.
