  • Interests:My interests? Well, I do enjoy most manga and anime, but I think that's a given. I also enjoy comic books and videogames, so I guess I'm kinda geeky there. But hey, I do other stuff. I like to go out and party, but I do not like drinks served in a femvase (damn fruity stuff... ew), so good ol' beer is my mate. So yeah, I'm also a psychology student, so your mind interests me.

Well, I'm happy with how it ended as well. I'm a little sad for Yoshi's mom ending up sealed on the other side of Yoshimori's seal, but it was a nice way of writing her out completely... she was never that good a character, and she had to redeem herself somehow. I enjoyed the ending with Yoshimori and Tokine as well, as this is everything I could expect from a shonen manga where I supported a pairing. I expect Naruto to end with an open ending like this, where we can decide that NaruSaku happened, and every other ship can say "naw, they're still just friends" and all will be good on our ship. ^^

I'm already interested in what Yellow Tanabe can cook up next. She has a real talent for character creation and story telling, so I'm sure it will be a treat.

Haha, I would also be happy with that kind of ending for Naruto and Sakura! (Hopefully, it won't be too long before we see something about them in the Naruto manga...)

Hopefully, we'll be able to see some more from Yellow Tanabe in the future. smile.gif Her storytelling does certainly have a nice balance to it, and it's different from the usual battle manga formula.

I'm sorry for bringing up a topic that has been dead for almost a year but, I was wanting to know if any of you noticed how similar Yoshimori and Tokine's hug in Chapter 121 is to Naruto and Sakura's hug in 450? I mean first the hero gets hit (punched in Naruto's case, slaped in Yoshimori's case) followed the heroine telling him how stupid the hero's action was (Naruto's going to face Nagato, and Yoshimori's going to face Kaguro) and finally afterwards the Hug.

Your thoughts?

Thank you for your reply Leo.

Forgive me if I should let this thread die but I can't help but notice that the main characters (according to Wikipedia) Yoshimori, Tokine, Gen and Soji share alot of similarities with Team 7.

Yoshimori and Naruto (typical shonen hero with massive power reserves)
Tokine and Sakura (typical tsundere heroine)
Gen and Sasuke (typical shonen rival that the antagonist tried to recrute)
Soji and Sai (emotionless replacement for rival who learns friendship from hero)

Again forgive me if I should let this thread die please let me know please.
