It was pretty amusing seeing Noelle’s reaction to the imaginations Dorothy created of Asta and Nozel especially the cute comment, and how she was teasing Noelle about it was almost gold including the bit with Nozel too. The biggest highlight for me though is the path Noelle is gonna be heading down as a main female lead in a shounen series which is gonna be amazing because it’s not just about her own ambitions, but including the situation Asta’s currently dealing with and what it could take to possibly save him from it. Even learning about The Devil that caused all of this is a pretty big deal too at the end of it all which leaves a lot of us wanting more for what’s to come.

I'm just happy Noelle has NEVER faded from importance in the story except for For when they infiltrated the Eye of the Midnight sun's hideout to rescue the kidnapped kids. And she will have a important role to play here too.

I will admit, things are gonna get interesting as things are for Black Clover, especially after everything that's happened... I can tell that the fact more Devils are out there is gonna be pretty prominent in the long run. Especially if and when we learn more about the Devil inside the grimoire Asta has inherited.

Wow, I'm avoiding Black Clover sub-reddits about pairings like the plague for now on because they're idiots claiming that Asta will hook up with Mimosa simply because "Asta is like Naruto, so he'll obviously be with Mimosa, who is Hinata with better character development". These arguments are being made by both obvious NaruHina Stans and people who think that Naruto's and Bleach's pairing dynamics have set a precedent that magically other mangaka will follow. Tabata has firmly proven that he is not Kishimoto and that he isn't going change course with the development between Asta and Noelle.

Yeah I'm not even bothering with any of that crap  First off though, I will say that even though Mimosa is not really my preference if Asta, by some dumb luck ends up with her I won't be that upset about it because at least it was established that Asta doesn't really pay attention to romantic affairs nor has interest in a girl his age, with his marriage proposals to Sister Lily being done for a joke more or less. So if it HAS TO BE Mimosa At least, I feel we would not have the series wrecked beyond belief or repair for it to happen, it just won't make sense. Just like the scenario with Naruto and Hinata, Asta doesn't spend time with Mimosa when they are both free and there is not really an excuse not to put them together on date like scenarios if that is the intention. 

 

Now with that out of the way, Noelle, I feel is is going to be the perfect match for Asta because the hints are already there even on Asta's side even though it is subtle, and he thinks it's only friendship for the time being. He acknowledged that Charlotte is similar to Noelle in that they can't be honest about how they really feel, and I have a intuition that Asta's affection for Noelle is subconsciously romantic due to small tiny differences of how he acts around her compared to Mimosa and Rebecca. He didn't catch the other girls bridal style and he even patted Noelle's head when she first learned Sea Dragon's roar and admitted to liking her being the prime examples. That was platonic in intention on his part yes, but again very blatant when compared to Mimosa and Rebecca and No other "romantically chaste Shonen MC that I know of is so direct with the teasing themselves even again if it is only platonic on the guy's part. I'm overall confident it's Noelle, but Naruto has taught me to expect the unexpected though. But again I just pray that the entire manga won't be ruined for it to happen.

 

That said just don't pay attention to it. I don't involve myself in shipping wars because it is effing idiotic

 

P.S. I hear that Horikoshi and Tabata are close friends. Do you think they give each other ideas on how to write the romance in their series? I hope that is the case

Yeah, you're right.  It's really nothing to get worked up over, but seeing talking points like that in discussions just triggers some of my lingering PTSD with NaruHina. Besides which, I see Mimosa hooking up with Klaus or even Yuno in the end(though I personally root for Yuno x Charmy as far as Yuno pairings go).

 

As for Horikoshi and Tabata, It's possible that they may have given each other advice on how to handle romance (speaking of which, I'm loving the recent upsurge of Izuku x Ochako in the last few chapters), or that Tabata's wife may have even helped both of them.

Oh its fine I perfectly understand my friend. Even I am more than annoyed when it comes to bias with shipping Mimosa with Asta and it has nothing to do with her character. it has to do with those obsessed with her huge knockers and give her special treatment for it as fan service and saying oh she must be Astas waifu because she is effeminate and has big kittens and eff Noelle because shes a tsundere!. That said the cards point to Noelle logically so we have nothing to fear unless by some stroke of bad luck occurs like with Naruto.

Funny thing is black clover is only 10 chapters shy from when Naruto Part 1 ends.

So technically you can consider this the end of Part 1 for Black Clover.


Funny enough I kinda wanted my hero to go through a similar way after the all might incident.

It's only a time skip of 6 months, so they probably haven't changed much appearance-wise.I'd like another time skip of a year at least to have new character designs. lol But yes I'm looking forward to see what happens next. And actually they most likely did change appearance wise-since other series have done that too So I hope that they did
