Agreed! I also think we'll see a lot of development from Sakura in the upcoming chapters. I have no idea what she'll try to do if she goes to catch up with Naruto, but it's inevitable that the two of them will bump into Sasuke at the Kage meeting and try to stop him. Again. We might not see any significant talk/confession/naughtiness until after Sasuke has been fought, and it's still possible that something could happen that keeps them separated for a long period of time.

Which would mean a long wait, spent tearing out our hair. XD

Yeah, the way Kishi has been draging it out I don't expect Sakura to make a decision so soon or let Naruto know she likes him. What I do see happening is her slowly thinking about him more. Maybe she will start to notice the little things he does for her. Maybe she will start being nicer to him. And it's possible the next time she has to heal him, she'll show her angry face, then flashback to Sai telling her he did it for her sake and then just finish healing him.

And of course I'm still waiting for her to feed him Ramen. I mean...come on! What's a guy gotta do?!!! Why must Kishi torment me!

XDDD Kishi does love tormenting people! I've been waiting for 5 years for NaruSaku to happen, but there are fans who have waited even longer than that - maybe even the full 10 years since Chapter 3! I just hope it won't be 10 more years before we see Naruto and Sakura get together...

Actually, Sakura is already nice enough, I think. She's protected Naruto, worried about him, spent time with him, laughed, etc. It's simply that she didn't realise how much he loved her, maybe even the extent of her own feelings towards him. It's probably harder to notice the changes within yourself when they happen slowly over a long period of time. It almost always takes a third party to comment on the changes.

Your take on Sai's line "...but what about you?" really did shed light on an alternative meaning. It wasn't necessarily "Sakura suffering because of Sasuke" or "Naruto suffering because of Sakura", but it could be him asking who Sakura is crying for. Logically, her "realisation" line means that she realises she's crying for Naruto, that Naruto is the one closest to her heart, not Sasuke. Hopefully!

Well, we should be able to see the scene in its full detail tomorrow, so we can hopefully draw fuller conclusions. *glances over at OneManga* It annoys me when I see One Piece already up, but I know Naruto won't show up for hours. XD

But ya know...I can see it happening. One of Naruto's biggest themes is to redeem every bad guy/girl on the planet. Even if that person only had one single terrible/evil thought, in swoops Naruto to make them all good again. This pic perfectly illustrates my point:

Even Pain one of the so-called 'ultimate' bad guys, got 'some sense knocked into him' by Naruto. So, in the end I can see Kishi making Sasuke change. Probably at the very last minute. And doing something like sacrificing himself to save Naruto from some uber death blow.

i couldnt have said it any better. i also dont think sakura would make a decision soon about her feelings for naruto or let him know she likes him, but i see her thinking more about him. i cant wait until we see more narusaku moments

That's true.
I think she is either

A) realizing the lengths Naruto has gone for her after all those years

B) realizing that all this time her lingering feelings for Sasuke has made her oblivious to Naruto's true feelings for her.

C) realizing that Naruto's promise to her is making him suffer
