Fav girl is first of all Sakura, but also Ino and Karin. kushina too I forgot her.
Fav boy is nowhere near up where the girls are, but if I hade to pick I would say Lee.

Favorite male character? It is basically a tie between Naruto and Rock Lee. I am always so happy when Rock Lee is on the scene. I wish we got more of him.
Favorite female? Obviously, Sakura and Kushina.

Shikamaru and Nidaime the only the chosen ones of the story and the voice of reason and logic in an entire sea of unlogical actions and irrational decisions.
Shikamaru - Told everyone they must forget Sasuke and dont pursue him, told Naruto to man up several times.
Niidaime - Killed Madara's brother and was going to finish off Madara, if wasnt for the Shodaime he could have avoided all the mess that happened afterwards.

Male character: Minato. I find his overall character admirable, and the fact that he would have been an awesome dad if he had lived.
Female character: probably Sakura. Strong female character, ya know?
