How Naruto doing then?

I've been keeping up with it, well mostly skimping (I think this is the correct word for not watching it entirely just skipping forward to what interested me).

It's ok, I guess. The animation is fine except for one episode were it sucked. As much as I liked Battle Of Gods (well just the fight), I find the new DBS quite boring. The magic is gone or I'm just really picky.

I also saw Resurrection of Frieza, and was disappointed with the logic behind it. I found it quite stupid.

 

What's wrong? Didn't care for Frieza rivaling Bluper Saiyan Goku in 4 months time? How about Gohan not being sure that he can still use Super Saiyan? Maybe it was Piccolo being taken out by someone claimed to be Zarbon-tier that annoyed you the most? Or could it be that the series has become so totally derailed that we now have Roshi taking on Frieza's army while Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Goten, and Trunks get sidelined because it's too much for them? 

 

That's just the movie. Personally, I have yet to watch either of the films or the new series. From what I've heard, it's just a muddied down rehashing of the films, as you said, with much more filler added in.

Yep.  I swear there were more Narusasu bromance scenes than NH/SS

 

So it's bearable to sit through and does it have like rewatch ability as some of the other naruto movies (stupid question I kbow)?

I wouldn't watch it again, but if you can stomach what few NH/SS scenes there were, it`s not totally unwatchable.  I liked Boruto more than I originally did when it was over and I liked some of the scenes with the new Team 7.  The villains were garbage though, unsurprising

Anime wise, weak. Manga wise, the usual. Then again, the last we got is Gaiden, so not sure.

For the record, the idea of sequel or spin-off is now invalid excuse for lower sale or same sale as now equal doing better than ever. Kuroko no Basuke Extra Game says hi. In other words, the only way to get sequel or spin-off profit is the work must be done by the original creator.

SS- were seen standing together at the end of the movie watching the new Team 7

I don't know but the sales are eh for a very popular series. People would say "Oh that's the effect of long running series." Yeah, and One Piece sold more in individual and way more on box set yet Naruto remained the same. Yeah, ok. Also Gintama even sold more. Much more and that's one series people don't even know it's popular, but I guess Viz is too dumb to get a clue.

Yeah, that's why I think doing the anime is suicide and quite honestly, if they want to keep the name right for Boruto, don't touch it at all. I mean SP is already proven that they can't really write. It's a mess.

You should read the Super manga.  It`s currently four chapters long, but so far it`s a lot tighter an interesting than the anime adaptation

Those are barely moments. I guess it is Kishi's writing. Seriously, romance isn't hard...

I think he wrote the script. He was brought in for the battle of the gods about half way through . Beerus was original suppose to be some virus the kills sayins or something like that but was consider too dark.

It on the wiki page for beerus probably under trivia. But Akira from what i understand didn't like it cause he thought it was too dark so changed it to cat god. Also he did write the screenplay for the revival of F.
