#964946 Aftermath of the Ending

Posted by Kasimir38 on 11 May 2018 - 05:29 PM

And I would like to add to that: Sakura was NOT MERELY the girl of his dreams, he had an actual emotionally intimate mutually respectful relationship with her. Naruto shows genuine appreciation and admiration for Sakura when he sees her saving Kankuro's life,is always defending her worth from Sasuke's scathing remarks towards her and always shows a genuine sensitivity regarding Sakura's feelings. In turn, Sakura was gradually looking past he initial negative first impressions of Naruto and seeing that he was a genuinely selfless, compassionate, understanding young man, was growing to admire him and started to think he was amazing in how he pursues his dream. In short  They were fell for each other's best traits, accept each other for who they are, and actually interact and communicate as an actual real life couple should.

That is actually the point their relationship wasn't a shallow crush or "he's pretty, I like him" but on a different level of understanding, caring and respecting. That's why I loved it so much and still do. It's this sort of relationship you just rarely see (in real life) because people often don't want to ruin their friendship. I also think Sakura felt as if she didn't deserve Naruto, she kind of pushed Hinata towards him and also accepted Sasuke. She thinks she deserves Sasuke, and not in a good sense. That's all I can say about that in a matter of sense.

Yeah I feel like, they tried to say: Well Naruto doesn't care about all of that anymore because he is mature and not superficial and he is happy having a modest life and not being respected because he is grateful to have a family... But, if that was a story about delusional unrealistic guy, maybe that would be the right ending, but this is Naruto we are talking about, he is nice and he deserved a happy end. At least, he deserved becoming Hokage the way everyone wished for. I am really excited for One Piece and how they make Luffys dream come true but I bet, it will be better than "Luffy missing his own Pirate King ceremony". (Even though it would totally fit his character XD)

I have never seen Hunger Games so I have no idea what you guys are on about. I even have the movies on my shelf and yet never watched them yet.

Would recommend the first one, it's the best. When I read the books I didn't buy the last one because I didn't wanted it to end, so for two years straight I was able to make up my mind about the ending and let me tell you this: Nothing of what I expected really happened. (shipping left aside) . And it was not a pleasant surprise. It really felt like: Storyteller went into a certain direction, only to make up their mind and throw away all of the character development and make a totally different story out of it.

I think Studio Pierrot needs to learn this message. They tried to make everyone happy with SasuSaku and NaruHina only to piss most, if not all, the Naruto fandom.

Yeah...NaruHina, SasuSaku, and that strange plot they went by. I don't know how to describe it, but the best word to summarize my experience with Shippuuden would be "dissatisfied". It didn't feel right, not only because NaruSaku didn't happen, (like, 90% of my ships don't sail), they just completely changed their main character and his motivation. How could they make Naruto miss his own Hokage ceremony? Isn't that what the guy worked for ALL his life? It kinda reminded me of the Last Hunger Games book, nothing they foreshadowed and promised really took place. Naruto is unhappy with his life, it's too realistic to be artistic. Same with Suzanne Collins books, it was too much " that would happen in real life" that I could enjoy it.

What we expected was an epic Protagonist and Antagonist fight, pain, regret, Naruto growing out of his crush for Sasuke and learning to accept his opinion. I thought he would be a funny Hokage. Like- the show should end with Naruto becoming Hokage. Stretching it out of the frame feels like continuing E.T even though he arrived at home.

I re-watched a Naruto episode and Sakura told Naruto that she was watching him all night while he was in hospital. I think it was a filler though... Just thought it deserves to be mentioned since this wasn't Shippuuden where Naruto was "famous and good-looking"...

Does anyone notice the similarity to Hermione and Harry? I know, many people think Hermione and Ron are soulmates, but I think she always liked Harry more. Still, the fandom thinks they are just "like siblings" and it's good that they didn't end up together. But Ron actually doesn't deserve Hermione, I think.

#964387 So if NH and SS were planned end pairings, then why....

Posted by Kasimir38 on 22 April 2018 - 09:34 AM

Yeah, chasing after a nukenin who tried to kill his friends and people that believed in him is actually very normal for a "good woman". She would be a terrible woman if she started to fall out of love with the person that never really showed any interest in her well - doing and psychologically abused her over a long period of time. And of course, my my, Sakura would be a very superficial and shallow person if she started to develop feelings for her best friend who always supported her and loved her.

Naruto giving up on his love on Sakura is actually "mature"? "Moving on from the person that started to warm up for you, cared for you and followed you all the time? YES. Because Hinata stared at you since nursery."

#964346 So if NH and SS were planned end pairings, then why....

Posted by Kasimir38 on 21 April 2018 - 09:14 AM

Were they planned? WERE THEY PLANNED

Even though it's a statement, that whole "triangle - love" or love - triangle didn't work out because Sasuke was never interested in either of them.  :sweatdrop:

So how should Sakura end up with Sasuke if he actually never loved her? Magic? Same goes for Hinata and Naruto. I feel bad for Hinata because the person she married was not Naruto lol.

IF NaruHina and SasuSaku were planned, what would hint at that?:

- Sakura's crush on Sasuke.

- Hinata's crush on Naruto.

- development in either Hinata's or Sakura's relation

- shut - down of NaruSaku and SasuKarin

- hidden signs that Naruto and Sasuke felt the same way

- agreement in the fandom  :wallbash:

result:

they married their fangirls. :pimp:

How do you think that marriage should work out?

Honestly, they could've let Shino end up with a STONE and then say "it was all planned from the beginning" and we weren't to question that since it's canon that's how logical it sounds to me

#964079 You, Like A Sun Flower (AU NaruSaku High School Doujin)

Posted by Kasimir38 on 15 April 2018 - 02:40 PM

you know the funny thing is in Nisekoi the life of life shounen jump series I was actually rooting for Onodera for a certain point till I finally admitted at how great Chitoge was as a character and her relationship with Raku had more chemistry and felt more organic. I totally get it though, having Sakura start off with a crush on Sasuke could've worked, but it is what it is I'm just actually happy there's something that I'm feeling invested with when it comes to Naruto even if it is just a high school doujin series.

How do you feel about the way all the characters are being handled?

Right now the big standouts for me is Naruto's character, and Sakura's. Though it is kinda interesting seeing her and Hinata having a friendship thing going on too.

I think I understand what you mean. About the characters: It actually feels as if all the Naruto - characters were pushed into a typical school - girl - shojo - series with a bubbly, pretty main character girl, a shy sidekick friend, the mysterious childhood friend, the cool and cold boy with a dark past, the "evil" guy with bad intentions, and of course a twisted love triangle. So far, I don't feel very much of "Sakura" and "Naruto" in each character, but I also don't feel in the position to complain, because I enjoy it so far.  :nsdance:

I just hope that Sakura and Naruto have the chance to prove how strong their relationship is, because what I really dig about it is the development they had in the series. Right now, it appears "too easy" lmao :D

#964076 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Kasimir38 on 15 April 2018 - 02:24 PM

I feel like Kishimoto didn't care for his fans anymore and what would become out of them. There was a huge NaruSaku fanbase in Japan and also here and many people supported that ship, including his co - workers.

Fan: I think it's really beautiful how the relationship of Naruto and his crush Sakura developed so much! It's so nice to witness their relationship become stronger over time!

The manga - artist: Yeah, they had development, I also added a bit romance, even though it's not a romance - anime. So it would be just natural to guess they end up together. :kappa:
Hinata Fan: But what about Hinata - Hime - Sama?

The manga - artist: You mean his true and only love? :superior: The person I actually wanted to make to the main - heroine and who I planned to marry Naruto since the beginning of the manga?  :happyfloat: Well... I kind of forgot to add any development but since it isn't a romance manga, ....*creates the Last*

I don't even waste my time to speak with Pro - Enders. You can ship NH all you want, but if you support that end, you lack of common sense.   :whistling:

She is the child of Sasuke and Karin and no one will prove me wrong.   :eager:

#963833 Aftermath of the Ending

^^Agree!! So much!!

Why did they let Salad rebel against Sakura? Because poor Salad had to live through the terrible relationship that is SasuSaku. She grew up without a father figure, with a mother that was constantly lying and not explaining what was going on. Where is my father? Are you two in love? Sakura: Well, he touched my forehead.. Salad:  :shifty:

But their feelings are connected. Because Salad exists. I still think she is Karins daughter lol

Po and his "dads" have a better bond than any parent with their kid in Boruto. Ok...I'm talking about NH and SS. (Rock and Metal are great even though it's a bit creepy) Maybe unintentionally, but the creators kind of show the flaws of the relationships through the Next Generation. I feel like there will be a twist and everything is different, but I still ask myself from time to time: How would things have turned out if Naruto and Sakura had a child and Sasuke and Karin? I think Naruto and Sakura would have been a very dangerous couple and she would have been far more useful than Hinata in terms of education.

#963411 Whats your OTP now that NS was given the pipe?

But the reason I never felt heartbroken about Bulma/Vegeta and Chi Chi/Goku is that even though they are married, they still behave like normal friends around each other. Can't say that about SasuSaku and NaruHina, though.  :ermm:

#962593 The NEW NaruSaku Debate Thread

Posted by Kasimir38 on 03 March 2018 - 03:20 PM

You know, I kind of got into an argument with an NH fan over the thing in 450 (among other things), and by argument, I meant just listened to his claims and questioned if that's what I was supposed to see, why didn't Kishi do such and such?

His/her points basically boiled down to this:

1) Sakura's hug was a friendship hug

Me: I duuno. That looked quite intimate. I got hugged by a girl I had a crush on before; it wasn't ANYTHING like that.

2) Naruto didn't return the hug

Me: Yeah, it's called being RESPECTFUL

3) He was looking back at Hinata

Me: Wait. You mean those panels showing all the other K11, including Hinata, were from Naruto's point of view? If he was looking at HInata staring back at him, why wasn't that the highlight of the page? The hug got the biggest panel, that was clearly what Kishi wanted me to focus on. If he wanted me to see Naruto begin to think of Hinata, why didn't she get the biggest panel? The hug panel could have been shrunk, Naruto's own reaction moved down the page and proceeding that Hinata. That would have been a lot more clear.

It really amazes me how NH will never admit they are just seeing what they want to believe.

Why should Naruto return the hug? Considering that he knew about Sakuras feelings for a certain someone. And he didn't really care for Hinata at all. That was the point where Kishi could have changed the direction, Naruto being more considerate of Hinata's feelings, but no...

It would have been a friendly hug if Sakura wasn't the only one to hug him. I mean, don't you think it was weird that it was such a big thing that she hugged him? Knowing that he had a crush on her, and she didn't? Like - would she be really that heartless to hug him "like a sister", while knowing that he always liked her? I think Sakura was either genuine with her feelings or she was being heartless. With how things turned out for them, not being close friends anymore, not caring about each other anymore, I think she was just being selfish.

#960399 Analysis of NS scenes post-ending

Posted by Kasimir38 on 20 January 2018 - 09:13 PM

Naruto never really loved Sakura.... He only loved Sasuke or else he wouldn't have let SasuSaku happen...

Sorry but it is true... If he was that guy who would have stepped back for her sake, he would not have done it the moment Sasuke came back. Like, let's assume Sakura didn't love him, then he would have accepted it and if she found some nice person, he would have wished her luck. But what he do? He, like, totally gave his blessing for her to be with the guy that tried to kill her several times and almost succeded, doesn't cares about her, never cared about her, made her cry very often and so on...

In other shonen mangas, the good guy aka Naruto wouldn't have let her cry, he would have taken her by the hand and dragged away from that emotional abusive person. Naruto didn't. He rejected her, made strange promises... I really think he loved Sasuke more.

#956623 Boruto: Naruto Next Generation Anime Discusion

I don't think it has anything to do about time. The animator may simply have not been looking at it and creating it from memory, or they wanted to do their own spin.

Pictures also commonly have multiple shoots, and it could have been another picture in the series. In my opinion, it really doesn't have to be a copy of the original at all, kind of find the complaint as petty as the petty change.

Well, yeah, but it's THE team 7 photo. This picture is legendary.
