it's great the matrix movies are childhood movies i love. kishimoto also said they're his favorite movies and he based the shadow clone jutsu when kimimaro fought naruto off of smith's ability

I'm positive there was an interview where he said the kimimaro fight with all the clones was inspired by matrix which makes total sense seeing as it's a copy of neo vs smith in reloaded but i can't find the interview at the moment... I'd also go farther and say the cpr was another blatant matrix copy. I also read yu yu hakusho had a clone ability so that's another inspiration which also might have been an inspiration for matrixI thought it was the designs he was inspired by
