The topic of movies is a good coping mechanism.

Do you mean you want us to label movie that changed our lives for the better?
Well
The Fountain with Hugh Jackman made me feel better about my religious and opened my eyes to a truth. All major religions are connected. Muslims, Christians, Judism, Hindu, Egyptian, Mayan, and more. Even Norse. Religion always talks of a tree, but what if the tree itself is what religion is. The same source, but the faiths branch out.
Pretty Woman with Richard Gere and Julia Roberts made me feel better about love. It made me realize that whether you are rich or poor, anyone can find love in the most unlikely places.
Man of Steel with Henry Cavill taught me not to be afraid of myself. The whole "My father believed..." line hit me hard. People always want you to be yourself, but some will ask for this just to use it against you. To hate you more. True strength is continuing being yourself and proud of it despite the haters.
I'll add more when I really think about it.

Godzilla 1954 is my favorite film of all time because of it's allegory of a nuclear bomb. It changed monster movies forever.
