You know what? I could see why NH fans say Hinata deserves Naruto

 

She knows how Naruto feels about her...yet confesses her love for Sasuke right in front of him...my gosh

I'm honestly tired of her love over Sasuke, when will she get that he doesn't give a damn? ugh

You know, If you had said this last week I would have countered you. But now....I just can't find it in me to do so.

For a while back they said Naruto doesn't deserve Hinata because he called Sakura his girlfriend in front of Hinata.

So which is it? He deserves her or he doesn't. Because from their point of view, Sakura and Naruto should both be equally cruel in their eyes.

No I'm saying that Sasuke has a strong bond for her and Naruto, despite all he is saying.

And I'm sure in the end he will come to accept that.

exactly, so we're right back to fan-girl Sakura, where Naruto's feelings never mattered...this is why I used to ship NH, the way she treated him and now in this chapter...smh

 

Knowing Kishimoto...and his "power of friendship and love" theme,  Sasuke might just pull an asspull and love her the manga is just too predictable

So which is it? NH and their ever changing opinions.

 

Well that's true, but knowing Kishimoto, I'm sure either nobody learns anything from their dreams and complain that it's over and Hinata doesn't come to some realization and try to "make it a reality" and Naruto notices that Sakura could never love him and decide to give hinata a chance instead, or sakura wakes up and realizes that her fairytale romance with Sasuke has been  over since the beginning and dashes to wherever they're fighting and helps Naruto and actually be the one to beat Sasuke, not holding back anymore.

 

question is, which will it be? which sounds more like kishimoto?

Will someone please confirm to me whether Sakura is unconscious or in Genjutsu?Some are saying she is unconscious because the genjustu ended when Sasuke stabbed her and some are saying she is unconscious and in genjutsu?

 

There is so much debate everywhere for this.Does anyone really know if its active or not?

I don't know. I don't think I even care to be honest. Kishi is a nutcase.

But if you have no problems about Naruto calling Sakura his girlfriend in front of Hinata, while you're totally mad at Sakura for declaring her love to Sasuke in front of Naruto....I think being a NH fan suits you more. Just saying.

how would that suit me? the reason why I never really cared about that was because Naruto never showed anything romantic towards Hinata, so I wasn't surprised about it.

 

As for 693, I'm not totally mad, just disappointed, all those hints and parallels and this happens. But I don't really  care, NS still has hope to me

It's not. Anyone who wants to leave can leave, but the people who are moaning shouldn't be allowed to negatively influence the status of this sanctuary.

Guy is considerate of Lee's feelings, there's no question about that. But he's not the sort of man to speak lightly of a topic as grim and impactful as the possibility of Lee dying in an operation that may or may not enable him to continue pursuing his dreams. Guy understood that everything hinged on the succeed of the operation. The promise made to Lee might have been intended to bolster his wavering spirits, but it came as a second thought next to the blind faith that was being conveyed in assuring Lee that he would not be the only one to have lost their purpose in life if he could never continue his career as a shinobi. The assurance that he would take his own life as an act of self-reproach for his "failure" to uphold his nindo was sincere. Again, you can't trivialise an issue as sensitive as whether two people live or die. 

 

Guy's reasons for dying is one part Lee, and another part his personal feeling of self-worth. He's pull all of his eggs into Lee's basket. To him, Lee's success means the difference between accomplishing anything of importance in his life (in his mind) and deprecating himself for his lack of success. That's a significant flaw to his character imo. He's so centred on Lee for personal happiness and meaning to his life that his individual worth apart from his student has become clouded along the way. A lot of his actions, even his suicidal charge against Madara, was motivated, in part, by protecting Lee so that he could continue to grow as a shinobi. While it does prove how fearlessly and unwaveringly loyal he is to his student, it also portrays him in a limited and simplistic light. 

Why did this discussion steer into analysing Gai and Lee's bond?   I was just giving my opinion on that one incident in part 1.

 

Anyway, as you brought up Gai and Lee's bond, I want to give my opinion on this matter. I think Gai and Lee's bond is the bond that is best written in the entire manga. Yes, there are some dumb moments for comedy purposes but it doesn't take away the deep meaningful student and Teacher bond that Kishi highlights here. 

 

Gai had an unwavering determination to give his all to make his student a better ninja. While everyone ridiculed Lee's weaknesses, Gai only saw Lee's strengths. He made Lee into the ninja he is today. Gai is the model Teacher.

 

Lee has always been grateful to Gai. He has nothing but the utmost respect for his Sensei. Lee has always been loyal and determined to follow Gai's dreams and ideals. Lee is the model student. 

 

Compared to Naruto-Sasuke, Sakura-Sasuke, Kakashi-his students and many other bonds, Gai and Lee's bond stands head and shoulders above the rest. Its written better and it makes much more sense.

If that's the case it makes less sense that you posted about Naruto deserving Hinata when he's shown no interest in her. It baffles me how you talk about Naruto deserving Hinata while being aware of how one-sided they are, but at the same time talk like Sakura not deserving Naruto when she doesn't seem to be returning Naruto's feelings. Double standards much :/ ?

Why not wait and see what will happen in the next chapters. I still won't believe that sakura has such a low self-esteem. I am expecting kishi to turn things around. It's a matter of how. Personally, I will never stop shipping ns. Only when they're together, both of them can be truly themselves and appreciate the other for that fact.
Ss is easily the worst pairing to become canon in this story.
Nh is not as horrible but I can't see them in working relationship. Plus Hinata's love has too much of looking up to a role model imo.

Kishi can screw things up but I say we should all chill, wait and see what he has in mind.
I still have faith in him.

Never. This isn't just about a pairing becoming canon. It's a place for like minded ppl to come and talk about their favorite pairing and manga.

This chapter made me not care about pairings anymore and focus more on the story. Plus never close this site! You can do other stuff that are not Naruto related.

I said i expected more for Kakashi. I mean, if Kakashi said Sakura's feelings for him have changed, i expected him to at least be surprised or a bit confused first. As he was in Sakura's confession to Naruto. I didn't meant to bash him >:

I still wonder what  was the point of this chapter ? Why does Kishimoto revives SS in order to brutally kill it and then revive it again , why did he trow all the NS development into the sewer ? I can't make up my mind whether this is his idea of love (I had a bad feeling after that horse cover and 685 ) or he just hates SS so much that he needs to sadistically kills it time an a time again its like watch him stabbing a dead corps  even if its at the cost of the manga and his supposedly main paring NS  its like nothing matters as long as he can kill SS one more time  its crazy really its worse then watching a horror movie . 

 

I understand why Kishimoto is doing this, but i totally don't like the way he has decided. After that, it's no way Sakura will pursue a relationship with him, and yeah, it's kinda the way Kishi wants to destroy completely the hopes of they being a couple.

I understand that his genjutsu was cruel and is psychological torture, but...i feel like this is the answer she has waiting for. The last time this exactly happened, he said "Thank you". I feel like Sakura is looking for that part of him and he remembers that. That's why he said she's annoying, it's a bit nostalgic. Then, he answers that "killing" her and at the same time "killing" that old Sasuke she's looking for. Or, at least her hopes of finding him. 

The last time, about her confession the databook said that now he's walking in the path of revenge and he can't let her in.

Right, Kishimoto's developing Sasuke storyline at the expense of Sakura. Like Nate said, he's trashed her development over part two and reduced her to the crying 12yo girl she was back in three-quarters of the way through part 1.

 

 

This is where I disagree with what Googleismyfriend is saying. It's true that her relationship with Naruto had improved and seh respects and depends on him. She is a strong medical ninja who takes her duties seriously. All things she wasn't in the early part of Part 1. Her medical skills certainty have show improvement. However, when you look at WHY she did all of this, how is she any different that the 181 counterpart? The point was to aide in brining Sasuke back and not to be left in the dust...and yet at the moment both of those are happening are she again makes an impotent plea of love as she did before.

 

For me, yeah she changed, but when viewed in light of her own stated goals it looks superficial. She's still doing the thing she resolved to get past. This is why I really hope she comes to rather quickly and is able to having a meaningful impact. As I said earlier, this should be a showcase of the change not the second coming of 181.
