Sakura concealed her blush behind her fan. Indeed, he was a handsome man, but for the strange symmetrical marks that graced his cheekbones. It lent him a roguish air and, were it not for his finery and bearing, she'd have assumed him to be of common blood. "Surely, my lord would find the company of one such as I tedious."
He laughed, extending a hand. "Pardon me, Miss Haruno, but I believe I heard that you are quite far from boring. In fact, my godmother, the Lady Tsunade, insists that you are much the opposite."
Sakura gasped quietly behind her fan. His godmother was Lady Tsunade - then this must be her ward, the young Sir Uzumaki returned!
Basically, Pride and Prejudice and NaruSaku
"On my honor, I intend to do you violence, sir," Sasuke said, raising his sword.
"I would reason with you," Naruto said, drawing his own sword, "But, alas, I fear that words are wasted on you. Miss Sakura, please see to Miss Kusanagi, while I handle this... lout."
Sakura helped Karin to her feet, mindful of the sobbing girl's injuries. Things were looking quite grave, indeed, and she was profoundly worried for Naruto. Whatever madness had gripped the Lord Uchiha had not left him bereft of his abilities with the sword.
It does need a title, though.
Also have some ideas to do some more small flesh-out one shots for In Memoriam from the NaruSaku side of things, maybe a collection of themes. We'll see where my brain takes it.
