I saw the first couple episodes a long time, and remember finding it interesting, but I never got back to finishing it cause life on my end was kinda tough during that point.

Normally, or at least nowadays, people hate it if animes diverge from the manga. But back then, animes oftentimes diverged from the original up to a certain point or just added original elements from the start. Many consider the anime to Cardcaptor Sakura a good adaptation, despite its differences with the manga. The main thing it diverged from with the manga was simply the greater number of Clow Cards it had to extend the anime and give the manga more time to progress without rushing. So, it oftentimes feels like the pacing of CCS is very episodic. And Mei Lin, Shaoran's cousin, doesn't exist in the manga (T_T). The anime drew out the love confession and concluded it in the second movie. This series is one of my favorites due to childhood memories, so there's a lot of bias involved, lol. It is a shoujo anime, so honestly not sure if this is up your alley.
It'd be a lot of episodes to catch up, so I just recommend to read the manga (12 volumes) or watch the OVA that acts as a prequel to this show.

By the time that the classic anime was in the air didn't exist the reaction on YT. Now I have seen reactions of the new Ova. The animation was good, but in the way they reacted let say was meh.

Touché, I Also Love the second movie but it doesn't change the that the manga ending is better, or that that second movie doesn't makes sense if the story is to connect to the Clear Card Arc. 
Isn't that why they made the "Sakura and the two bears" OVA?

I mean, yeah. Of course, the second movie doesn't connect to the Clear Card Arc. It was its own anime original thing, and SakuraxShaoran shippers still appreciated it. It was a good original movie. One of the better ones, once you get over the forced extra hidden Clow Card surprise, lol.

Same here! At least the anime will be on a weekly basis, so the plot will move a lot faster. And I can't WAIT to see Sakura and Shaoran as a couple
