Because he would have us believe it was all a red herring.

NS was way more then a red herring, even I would even admit that Taiora could be reasoned as a red herring, but not this. Way too much went into this, its psychotic if he did all this to keep a portion of Naruto fans to keep up. 

He said in one of the interviews he purposefully made Kushina like Sakura to "mislead" fans. Basically he said he developed NaruSaku with parallels and all that just to pull a twist at the end with NH and SS.

 

Now some people think he's lying and that's just a cop-out used to retcon NS development others think he is telling the truth he is just incompetent and screwed up.

Again so much was put into it, if anything red herring would have been hinata in this situation. Or even if kushina did look like sakura and act like her, why say all that, why let minato say those things at the end, then why let your main character disobey/lie to his parents *dead parents…all for hinata…

I seriously don't think Kishi even knows what a "red herring" is. If something is developed, it's developed and no "red herring" can get rid of that development. It still happened. A red herring is supposed to mislead, yes, but not this way. It's supposed to mislead the characters and the plot, not just the readers. And intentionally putting in false parallels? That is LOW.

This^^^^….Red herring would have been a little something here or there, but the very foundation of the manga and its parralls and messages of shoot from NS.

I thought I was over it and in a way I am, however I loved Naruto and just whenever I think of the atrocity that happened I get super angry and frustrated.

I've said this before I'm not delusional if the signs pointed towards nh then I would have probably supported that, BUT for 15yrs, chapter after chapter, NS is constantly reinforced so when something like this happens how are we supposed to deal.

And its clearly not just me, I googled kishi and sakura and stuff about the confession popped up. This is what someone wrote on yahoo answers years ago

Do you think it will/could happen? I doubt it myself but that would be sweet, they've always been kind to NS. Or maybe they just assumed (using common sense) like the rest of that it was supposed to be NS. 

Where is this from?

This is the stuff that pisses me the kitten off….I understand this is from the movie (which again is bs cause even though its not canon its Naruto related…anyway) but stuff like this is present all throughout Naruto….to do something like this there has to be a point, not to show that Naruto is some bad boy tough guy, no….to show that Sakura cares. I mean why do all that if you're just gonna blow it up in our faces….I wish Kishi the worst. 

I thought I was over this bs manga/anime Naruto, but I keep seeing stuff about the last movie and about the first kiss and all that kitten and it ticks me off….I know Kishi is going to exploit the movie to cover up 699 chapters worth of NS

I'm sure ppl are slowly getting over the fact that this Naruto ending actually happened and I don't want to drudge up anything, but I wanted to express my views on Naruto the manga as a whole before it is too late. 

For me, even when you put NS fail aside, I think Naruto has been ruined. The ending was absolutely atrocious…crack pairings, characters being OOC, using the final chapter to set up part 3, Naruto looking and sounding miserable, essentially nothing actually changing in the ninja world, Naruto a orphan child neglecting his son….all this (on top of no NS) has ruined Naruto for me. 

Seriously, the last chapter doesn't show any of the friendship or bonds between the K11, Naruto hasn't made a brand new system…list just the same old, same old, things will repeat, he hasn't ended the cycle and its lame. 

And it sucks...

Naruto meant everything to me, it was an inspirational anime that would help motivate me. I started it when I first entered Highschool and I could relate to him. Not to mention its a good shonen anime/manga to follow, an icon. Not something too long like One Piece, sorry I'm getting off track, anyway I liked Naruto as a character, he really was this gen's Goku (bold statement I know), but not anymore, he no role model of mine. I just feel robbed. 

You know I wanted to learn the piano so I could play Blue Bird, my fav Naruto opening, but not anymore, all that has been ruined. I'm going to remove all the Naruto openings from my iPod and I'm going to stop watching the anime. I could care less about Sauske I wanted Naruto to get the girl…I wanted Naruto to succeed. 

Sucks cause I had the Naruto's necklace, a dvd set, and Sasuke's sword and I wanted to keep supporting, I was planning on buying the manga, dvds, and the video games but I can't support Naruto anymore. 

Anyway I know I got off topic and I was all over the place, but Naruto has been ruined for me. 

I'm sure this has been said, but the last chapters and the essentially the entire ending of this manga was just to jumpstart part 3….which sucks. 

I'm sure ppl r getting over it by now, but I kittening hate it…why would u do something like this…look at the damn OVA everyone was expecting this…u spent 700 chapters of pure manga/romance tropes on NS….and then u pull this bull kitten!?!?!?

Which I believe is the worst part. 

I'm not delusional, I picked the ship that the story eluded to on numerous occasions. 

If NH had more hints, teases, and wasn't one sided, I could understand. If Naruto didn't mention he liked Sakura on at least three different occasions, then I could understand. If for 700 chapters Naruto and Sakura wasn't teased, I could understand. If manga/anime tropes weren't used on a consistent basis to support NS, I could understand. If the very plot (parallels and similarities between generations e.g. Kushina and Sakura) didn't heavily support and indicate a Naruto and Sakura ending then I could understand the ending.

Furthermore, If Kishi didn't

-  Have Naruto save Sakura exactly in the same matter his father saved his mother

-  Have Sakura yell out for Naruto while the village was in ruble, above anyone else

-  Have Naruto save Sakura's life a number of times, when Sasuke didn't even care (Sakura should be dead at least          three times because of Sasuke….Naruto should have let Gaara rip her apart. 

-  Have Sakura literally grab his heart and put her lips on his mouth

-  If Sakura didn't say that she absolutely can't let Naruto die and must protect his dream

-  Have Sakura ball out crying when she found out what she was doing to Naruto

-  Have Naruto ask himself/inform the readers how could he confess to Sakura if he couldn't even safe one friend

-  Have Naruto and many others call Sakura his girlfriend

-  Made Sakura look and act like his mother

-  Made Sakura a tsuandre

-  Have Minato mention that Sakura reminded himself of his wife and Naruto's mother

-  Have Kushina tell Naruto in her dying breath to find a girl like herself

-  Have Yamato mention to Sakura that she has feelings for Naruto

-  Help make Road to Ninja Movie

-  Have a hug scene

- Have them spend so much time together

- Have them feel each other's pain

-  Have Naruto on numerous occasion spec fully chapter 3 state how he likes Sakura

-  Make a manga based on a character who is supposed to accomplish everything. 

- Have Sasuke try to KILL Sakura

- Have Sasuke state plain as day in a chapter or two  prior that he was NOT interested in Sakura, told everyone, out loud 

- Have Sasuke put her in visually grew some genjutsu that was reminiscent of when Kakashi stabbed Rin (My own mother wouldn't forgive me) 

- Make Hinata a secondary character, (he should have made her part of the team or more integral to the story)  

- Make Hinata the weird one

Than I could understand the ending. 

Rather what we are left is

- With a whore (excuse my language) of a character Sakura, who

   1) Just used Naruto

   2) Had a un-dying attachment to Sasuke, which can only be explained because he was the "cool and good looking guy"

   3) After numerous attempts on her life and the life of many others wants to follow him at the very end.

   4) Is able to look at this person, have SEX with him, and bear his child

   5) Does not say a single word to her friend, comrade, person she wanted to protect...

- An antagonist, the person who used to be identified as the cool and good looking one, the guy who started off with all the traits, the guy who most of the readers of this manga do not relate to getting every single thing he wanted….seriously as I type this I remember what I hated about Naruto the first part, it was the fact that Sasuke got everything and even in the end that stayed true….kishi said he's more like sasuke, looks like the prick couldn't be objective

   1) He has the sharingan

   2) Fire Style

   3) Gets a curse mark

   4) Taught the chidori

   5) Gets a sword

   6) Avengers his family

   7) Kills his brother

   8) Rinnegan

   9) Amaterasu

  10) Mangekyou Sharingan

  11) Sage of six paths powers

  12) Gets to just act pissed off instead of dealing with his problems

  13) Gets to take out all his anger on Naruto, making him lose an arm

  14) Gets to live

  15) No punishment for what he did

  16) Gets the girl

- Hinata a secondary character get what she wants

- Karin, a character who was picture perfect for Sasuke, just left in the dirt, no mention of her (She had an attachment to Sasuke and it was shown way more then Hinata's feeling for Naruto)

- Have Sasuke inexplicably settle for Sakura, after all this and vice versa.  

- Essentially Sasuke and Hinata end up being main characters who accomplish what they want

- Sakura not say one word to Naruto in the last few chapters, let alone the last one. My God, not even a are you okay? or Thanks.  (I've stated this before, but I just can't believe it)

IMO you have to be sadistic to do something like this, to mislead so much, its sicking and the worst part is

It just doesn't make sense.

Honestly we are…I've shared things here that I wouldn't with my closest friends, not cause I'm embraced, its cause they wouldn't understand..not that they should, but you guys do. We all share a passion and passion for anything, especially something as good natured as this, is rare to come by.

I was struggling with the words but this above is what I wanted to say.  Naruto the anime in particular - with the great voice actors - was an inspiration.  I really did take inspiration from Naruto and this disrespect by the mangaka for his own character(s) really does leave a bad taste.

It was an inspiration and the worst part is that it just isn't anymore. All that gone to waste and I'm not an anime/manga connoisseur but I don't think there is another anime that I could look to, at least not yet, at least nothing something i invested in since i was a kid…it sucks

theres any possibility of NH and SS not being together?

i mean, whats the possibility of naruto and hinata did not ended up together?? kishi likes to be a troll, can NS happened but he will only show it on the movie?

im talking about that because, as you guys saw sakura daughter dont look like sakura... not even with sasuke. she looks like karin, a lot.

we only saw naruto with his son, but we did not saw him with hinata or something, so...

You know whats even worse…we have all this hope, because we are good ppl, but nothing will happen our voices won't be heard, we won't get another ending, we'll just have to carry this burden forever

Meanwhile kishi will live it up, Naruto will go down has one of the best manga (even though its atrocious imo) and no one will ever bat an eye, sucks I'm sorry for being pessismetic….

I wish Oliver Queen would break into Kishi's house and yell at him "YOU FAILED THE WORLD"….and shoot him with an arrow….than buy the rights to Naruto and re-do all of it. 

I will not watch the movie, comes from a writer who could not develop the NH for 15 years in 700 chapters of manga why he will convince me in 120 minutes?

  He could not give to NS a conclusion in the manga, he disrespected all fans who love the beautiful bond that Naruto and Sakura have, how Sakura always worried about Naruto, how Naruto always concerned Sakura, how all his jokes did that we fall to the floor laughing, how Naruto fought to the end against Gaara for Sakura-chan and how Sakura-chan  kept alive Naruto during CPR .. .

Now the film will tell me how will Sakura reject her most loved friend , Kishimoto will try to finish something beautifully built for 15 years I'm sorry NS is indestructible! he want to destroy the beautiful things in his series by the popularity of a side character

Kishi you can't destroy a 15-year manga relationship with 120 minutes of movie!

 I was going to talk about this, I assume he's going to make Naruto reject Sakura and show how Naruto came to lov…(I can't even say it) Hinata….then make up some kitten moments and parallels. 

Seriously u put it perfect, Naruto cared about her and vice versa, they spent so much time together even in their world let alone ours. He saved her from Gaara, should let Gaara put her in a sand burial.

Sasuke didn't give a kitten and now their married...

What was all that for?

And yea she literally lost it when he was dying, grabbed his freakin heart and went mouth to mouth…..I just don't get it nothing makes sense. 

If it wasn't for the fact that this manga lasted for 15 years and has a load of character character development that supports NaruSaku and literally neither NH or SS I wouldn't be so damn pissed off. 15 years Kishi! 15 years down the kittening Hyuuga!

Now before I rant, I know it might sound absurd to get all hung up on fiction, but i invested so much, I loved them, I blurred the lines between fact and fiction, I know its weird but all this comes from the heart.

There is so much I want to say, I'm so angry, I hate it…I have to go to work, but I'll try to write down some of my thoughts, that I came up with while at the gym ( I went to the gym to blow off steam)

First Thought

Like previously mentioned there is no interaction between Naruto and Sakura in the last few chapters….how pathetic is that? Seriously two main characters, team seven members….they spent years, countless missions, intimidate moments together and what do we get….nothing not a single kittening word is said between them….no conclusion, no congrats, no thanks, no how are you….kittening nothing.

It's actually really absurd….Sakura says she wants to protect Naruto's dream, but when he's hokage does she do anything….nope, like I said before no sentimental moment of "wow he did it, that kid I grew up with, I'm so glad he's hokage"….no thanks….no congrats….its insane. It's like nothing ever happened….its like he didn't save her countless times….

There is barely anything in the 700 chapters for SS.

I was telling myself this morning that it couldn't be possible that the spoilers were true, it had to NS, for christ sake Sakura and Kushina look alike.

if thats not enough NARUTO SAID in pt 1 and pt 2 that he liked Sakura…wtf, he supposed to do it all.

Just look at the god damn mother kittening couples page, theirs tins of stuff on NS hints in manga/anime/filler/movies…but the NH page is so minimal….I just don't get it.

I really just want to talk to him and ask him WHY? If it was going to be NH why not make it more clear??? Why tease NS sooooo much?

Why do this to Naruto? 

Guys I just read the last two chapter and I have to say I am utterly in awe, let me explain.

None of this makes sense, if Naruhina had been teased more than on a rare occasion from one party, I would understand. If Naruto, the main character had even utter some sentiment of Hinata I would understand. If in the first episode, half way through shippuden and at the end of shippuden Naruto did not mention Sakura as his love interest that maybe I would understand. It's not like I rooted for NS because I was grasping for straws or because it was something I just personally liked. No it's cause through and through, time and time again Naruto was interested in Sakura and things were heading in that direction. Essentially to reiterate my first point non of this makes sense. 

What did/does make sense is the following-

Naruto is supposed to accomplish everything.

Yamato unfinished sentence

POAL

Pain fight when Sakura calls for Naruto….above all else

Paralells….OMG the parallels…(non of it makes sense if it ends this way, it devaluates Obi run, Jiriya tsunade, Minato kushina

Hair color

Naruto told his own dead father that she was his girlfriend

Minato said Sakura reminded her of Kushina (clear anime tropes) 

Kushina telling Naruto to find a girl like her

Those things make sense, their deeply in the plot, Kishi made a concerted effort to put those in….those are not tiny contrived moments

And to just have Sasuke forgive (by Sakura) like that omg, what a terrible message…he tried to kill her...

Not to mention he just thru Sakura's character in the dirt by doing that…..even at the end she wanted to follow him….and why would he poke her on the forehead….he doesn't know?

Honestly i'm just heartbroken and not just cause it wasn't my pairing, i didn't get into pairing wars, not cause I love Sakura….its because this ruins one of the best/favorite anime…..even in the end Naruto couldn't do it all, he failed. IMO he might as well not even hokage (also his character has changed too much) 

So I'm let down that he failed, I had a a lot of hope, but he failed. I used always motivate myself on the fact that Naruto just pushed himself (fictional or not) I even bought the necklace he used to wear, but now its just thrash, I can't be motivated by a failure. It was ll for nothing. 

Also on Kishi's part, whats wrong with him? Why tease NS so much? So extensively? It's sickening. 

that s wierd because Kishi said one pairing will be complete and now somehow NH/SS happen. so i think its fake and wait till tomorrow
