[Fenris]

I'm sick of seeing all the negativity. Also, I'm sick of seeing the great debates that actually make a whopping amount of sense buried in 100+ pages of tears.

 

So please, pour all your positive thoughts here. This isn't a debate thread to decide whether or not this was anti or pro, or a thread to complain of horrid writing and jumping ships, it's a thread to post your reasons why this chapter was great for us.

 

I for one, believe this is a good chapter for us, as I've said before many times:

We're nearing the end of the manga. Sakura needed something concrete, heavy, and hard to be thrown at her to really make her get over Sasuke, not some half assed moments where she 'should' have been over him. She needed something solid. Yes, he's tried to kill her before - and failed - but this time, she really 'felt' it.

 

Wah-la, it happened. Nothing says 'doomed' like a chidori though the heart.

 

 

I'd also recommend everybody to read these posts, as they're very inspiring.

I'd list more, but I really don't feel like digging through pages. That's why I made this thread, so you can list your positive thoughts on the chapter and bring light to all of this. This is not a thread for arguing or disagreeing.

 

I respectfully ask for no trolling and no negativity here,  please post only your positive thoughts so that people don't have to dig through 100 pages to find a sense of closure and relief.

I loved the no-nonsense attitudes of Naruto and Sasuke when they were talking to each other in the end. Both of them know they could die in this fight, but they still had this enthused, eager expressions. They are ready to go at each other with no holds barred. I cannot wait for the the next chapter. This fight could be epic.

Thanks Fenris.  I was tired of negativity in chapter 693 thread.Ok I'm happy to see Sakura like this.I'm being honest I'm a bit dissappointed  in her but as her true fan,I love her.This chapter confused everyone but in my opinion it's safe to say that 693 is an anti pairing chapter and Kishi made the decision already"NS is endgame".

The negativity over the past days has been pretty unbearable, so I'm glad there's at least some who aren't stressing over it. The biggest thing I enjoyed this chapter was Sasuke admitting that he doesn't have any interest in Sakura, because that finally brings the end to SS as a pairing. I'm not disappointed in Sakura, because I understand why she's acting this way. She'll get back up again from this setback, like she always does. We just need to look forward to the next chapters, since the story's definitely not over yet

Okay here is my positive take on the entire thing

why I think SS is dead

The way I see it, this chapter killed off SS for good.

 

We have noticed recently that Kishi is doing a lot of look-backs at some of the part 1 chapters. Today's was another call back to the time when Sakura confessed her love to Sasuke.

 

It starts off similarly. Sasuke decides to go rogue and Sakura is shocked. She then becomes desperate and determined to do whatever it took to stop Sasuke from doing the wrong thing. 

 

However there's a lot of difference when you compare her words from part 1 and this chapter.

 

In part 1, she said she loves Sasuke but here she said she used to love him.

 

During her confession in part 1, she places Sasuke on a pedestal and says no negative things about him. In today's chapter, she expresses regret that she fell in love with a guy who turned out the way Sasuke did.

 

During her confession in part 1, she talks about the possibility of the two of them being happy together if he changed his mind. Here though, she refrains from mentioning any such thing. Rather, she talks about the possibility that things could be like before if he changed - happy days for team 7.  

 

Clearly, there is a huge change in Sakura and the way she sees Sasuke and feels about him.

 

To cap it all off, just like in part 1, Sasuke proceeds to knock her out. But again there's a change. That day, he showed remorse and thanked her for her words. Today, he flat-out says he does not love Sakura and showed no sign of having second thoughts about this.

 

So what did we learn in this chapter? Sakura has changed from the girl she was in part 1 and she no longer loves Sasuke the way she did in part 1. Sasuke still remains totally disinterested in Sakura.

Well here is a songs that reminds me of NS, if it's to lift up some spirits. It helped me al little, cause it are cheerful songs. the lyrics remind me of NS too.

She's currently in genjutsu, she could easily realize like the genjutsu, her love wasn't real and she could realize her true love lies with Naruto. This manga is optimistic I'm pretty sure Naruto will get his girl and Sakura-Chan will be treated right and be happy.
