If not NaruSaku (I really hope it wll be P:), I'd want it to be something kind of like the end of ending ten, where Sasuke and Sakura's names are written in the sand, but Sasuke's name is scribbled out. :3 I really liked that.
And, I really like the current ending... Sakura drawing Naruto = kawaii. xD <3

Actually, I think this one is very likely. Probably something about how Sasuke is hindering their love life or Sakura not knowing which one to choose.

@Codus-- Dunno...according to Wikipedia's listings (not sure how much stock we wanna put in those), ep. 206 is called "Sakura's Feelings"/"Sakura no Omoi", so it sounds like it could be 469 to me.

....means good things for the opening/ending though?

Are you serious? That's pretty disappointing to hear, and more than a little frustrating as well.

There is that at least, but I'm still partially expecting it to be centered on the Team 7 love triangle than solely NaruSaku (not that I don't prefer the later a thousand times over the former mind you).

Ah well, we'll see how it goes. At least the band sounds promising, and if nothing else, we've already gotten a NS OP, ED, and gorgeous movie quality fan service from the OVA.

There is that at least, but as there is a lot of SS suggestiveness starting from Sakura's confession (Naruto's flashbacks, Sai's claim, Sakura's flashbacks, etc.) it's just as likely, if not maybe a little more, to be centered on the Team 7 love triangle than solely NaruSaku.

But...surely, after the last episode involving Sai's talk with Sakura, and the fact that the two characters most in question (as far as this arc goes) of becoming lovers are Naruto and Sakura, they wouldn't make an opening just to satisfy the SasuSaku "possibility"? *crosses fingers*

I'm pretty sure it was called that. Maybe the episode will cover the end of 468 and the first half of 469? Somehow I see it ending in a cliffhanger with Naruto saying he hates people that lie to themselves; like the chapters themselves, if I remember right.

Are you serious? That's pretty disappointing to hear, and more than a little frustrating as well.

I have even worse news to bear. If he really did those episodes as stated in the quote, then we can expect him to butcher the scene completely. He's the one who directed those recent filler fangirl Sakura episodes (and Sasuke worship).

@Kushina: 206 is indeed confirmed at ANN as the confession. Well, that's just swell, we get a bad director, and to top it off he also seems to be in the anti-NS faction of Pierrot (as shown in the episodes he did) I'm willing to bet the new OP won't be NS (just a bit) and will lean towards SS.
