I"d laugh so hard if SP do something like that in the Special episodes in September.
I wouldn't put it past them. The wank in those episodes will be to high

Kaguya is a boring villain bring Madara back already!

Would you say you would blame anime for this booming effect of Hinata spreading to everyone and pretty much turn back on her? To be frank, in here, there's a lot of hate for her.I wouldn't put it past them. The wank in those episodes will be to high

She's not. Kaguya is THE mother. Uchihas, Senjus, Uzumakis and Hyugas.
Top is: Kaguya obviously, Mei, Tsunade, Chiyo, Konan, Yugito, Fu, Mito Uzumaki, Yugao Uzuki (she's an ANBU), Kurenai, Sakura, Tayuya, Temari, Hanabi Hyuga, etc.
Hinata has a strong taijutsu because of her family and she has a Kekkei Genkai but she's the weakeast of her family and she knows it. So if you really compare her full habilitties she's far away not the strongest. But because that 2 points she can be compared to other characters that are actually good in what they do (Ten Ten, Ino, etc.)

Oh yeah, the anime is a huge cause of that. I don't hate her, but I really don't care for her being pushed in my face constantly when she hardly has that much relevance in the actual story too begin with.

Well I'll admit. It's getting to me.

Well, I do have a post in mind, but it can wait...for now.

I don’t understand this anger hold against SP concerning NS/NH. I admit that they favor Hinata, but that’s all. They never dismissed NS to favor NH (and don’t start with the last episode, Naruto just said “Hinata”). On the contrary, they tend to favor NS everytime there is an occasion to do so (Naruto’s training for Rasenshuriken, Naruto stating how much he loves Sakura and would be the happiest man if she happened to reciprocate his feelings, Sakura “used to love” Sasuke). What have they done to NH that could top all these filler moments? Hinata displaying how much she loves Naruto. That’s all. Naruto never implied he had feelings for Hinata, like Sakura did for Naruto in the anime.
The only time they really screw up with over favoring Hinata was the confession episode, that's all.

Yeah, I know. It just for me at least, they credit her too much. It's not much of NH, but just overshot her. Oh well.

They did favor NH during Part 1 by constantly having Hinata go along with him on missions while Sakura was pretty much made into a background character, but Part 2 they did NS justice, in fact they were actually improving it to some degree. Odd how people get to actually enjoy the ship when the context is made more clear....
'nother reason why I hate Kishi's strategy of storytelling where "I'll make everything obvious, then make it super confusing so people will be kind of sort of surprised but not really when it happens and then the end"
Its the same thing with Tobi turning out to be Madara and then Obito.

Then I agree. We see her too much. And it's starting to make me feel sick. Too much Hinata. I remember, some days ago, someone posted a picture of her in the RTN Special episode... Ugh! Really disgusting and vulgar from them to do such a thing. Though it's a common thing in anime, this one was too much even for comedic purpose.

Well, if Kishi don't do fanservice, they will have to do one themselves.

I dislike NaruHina, but my main issue is more with Hinata's characterization than the actual ship. I just want her to move on with her life, accept/realize Naruto doesn't love her, and focus on what she should already be focusing on: getting stronger for her Clan and gaining leadership skills so her father wouldn't have to be ashamed of her.
He's dead now, but Neji still would've been a better leader than her. He was detached while Hinata is still too emotional and spends more time chasing after boys than paying any attention to her Clan role. Hinata is not what she could be and to see her so with such lack of priorities is frustrating. What's even more frustrating is that fans praise her for it when all Hinata is is still a Naruto fangirl. Just a shyer version of Part 1 Sakura with Sasuke really.
Hinata's love annoys me because there's no purpose to it. It's not going to get anywhere, Naruto clearly doesn't like her, and to see her still chasing after him (whether out of ignorance or desperation) is sad. I'm tired of seeing it when she doesn't think right of anything else. She's so unfocused when it comes to her love for Naruto, how can people like this?
I don't have anything against the trope of NH. I've shipped a similar couple where a particularly gentle girl fell in love with the hero, saw his natural talent before most while a hot-tempered girl hated him. Then he fell for the hot-tempered girl because she eventually acknowledged him and even spend years being there for him as a close friend first while the other was away. Very similar basis to NaruSaku/NaruHina. The gentle girl gave up on a future with him, but never stopped loving him.
But you know what's the difference between that ship and NH? The shy, gentle girl didn't put him above duty and even though she realized the hero didn't love her, she pushed him towards the other girl because she knew he would be happy with her and she could give him things that she couldn't. Then that gentle girl died protecting her 'rival' because she wanted her to make the person they both loved happy.
If Hinata was like this---selfless, not blind to other people around them, aware of important duty---then I wouldn't be so unsatisfied with NH and Hinata as I am. I just hope she wakes up and adopts these similar elements of that particular character so I can be a little more proud of her and her growth.
Every relationship has a specific trope or similar basis. But when put in the hands of different authors, the credibility and values of the ship can very different.

Have you ever considered the possibility that Naruto has been leading her on? I don't think he did so intentionally but you have to admit that saying "I can see it in your eyes" with a bright smile and then later that same day (or week, i'm not sure) holding hands in front of the whole shinobi alliance would cause her to think she has a chance with him. If I recall correctly Naruto and Hinata didn't speak after her confession until they met on the battlefield. If so then how on earth would Hinata know whether or not her confession was accepted?
Once this war is over Naruto needs to man up and tell Hinata how he feels (regardless of what his feelings are).
As for Hinata leading her clan, I think she could do it. She's kind and has powerful allies. I imagine she'll end the enslavement of the branch clan as well.

I could write an essay on this.
Its not about their support for any pairings. Their episodes do actually give the vibe that they support NS more than other pairings.
Its about them constantly making the Naruto characters go extremely OOC. They dis-respect Kishi's writing and give new features of their own wish to the characters. They add or sometimes remove the dialogues written by Kishi in their canon episodes. For example- the most recent episode, James explained it well. So are they doing justice to the story that has actually been written? NO.
Here are some of the things they do that ticks me off:
1. Making Naruto seem like the dumbest guy in the story.
2. Over exaggerating Sakura's Tsundere nature and make her seem abusive.
3. Making Sakura belittle/insult Naruto even when there is no such thing written in the manga. Anime only fans are heavily influenced by this and join the hate campaign against Sakura!
4. Making Hinata seem like this perfect girl and giving her roles and showing her in a way that tells she is the best support that Naruto could possibly have.
5. Giving Hinata new powers that make her even powerful than Naruto! Sometimes even dumping Naruto on the side and making Hinata shine like the main character.
6. Displaying Hinata's love and admiration for Naruto in a very cute, innocent way so that she gets sympathy from the viewers and they start to root for her.
7. Displaying Sakura's affection for Sasuke seem more than what it actually is and then ignoring panels where she shows affection and care for Naruto. They removed the Sakura protecting Naruto part in the Wave arc.
8. Inconsistencies with the story progress. They made Sakura fangirl and put Sasuke on the pedastal AND at the same time put-down Naruto in a filler episode after the PoAL. Episode 202-The Top Five Ninja battles. It makes my blood boil!

If I recall correctly Naruto and Hinata didn't speak after her confession until they met on the battlefield. If so then how on earth would Hinata know whether or not her confession was accepted?
Well, after Naruto had confronted Nagato and Kakashi carried Naruto back to the village, Hinata stood by while Sakura hugged Naruto in front of everyone. Then afterward Naruto hung out with Sakura and talked about Tsunade's coma before he took off to beg for Sasuke's life. If he had wanted to talk to Hinata, or she had thought he was interested, wouldn't they have had at least one moment to speak?
Then after the Land of Iron and Sakura's confession, etc., Naruto returned and spoke to all the rookies. Hinata was there. They still didn't talk even though they could have.
The hand-holding was not specific to Hinata; Naruto was sharing chakra and did the same with other fighters. It's not his fault if it meant something else to Hinata and that she couldn't keep her head in the reality of war.
Besides, Naruto has since admitted to his father that Sakura is his girlfriend within earshot of Hinata. What could be more clear?
HInata knows her confession has not been accepted because... it hasn't been accepted. Naruto has not led her on in any way.
