Well, I've just finished the Yoshiwara in Flames Arc. Some of the best fights I've seen so far in the series:

Yeah, that fight was absolute beast. The one afterwards with Gintoki vs the boss was also epic. You might wanna watch the anime to this arc only when you reach it in the manga.

I think she can turn it on anytime she wants to. But seeing Shinpaichi almost being stabbed to death kind of made her snapped. She lost control.
